Jurss Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) Second attempt for contest. This won't be technically outstanding, also not so rigid, but definately different (I hope, this will count as technic) Edited April 11, 2020 by Jurss Quote
1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 I'm sure this counts. I love the challenge! Quote
Rudivdk Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 That's quite a challenge indeed . This will be very interesting to follow! Good luck with this journey Quote
Jurss Posted April 4, 2020 Author Posted April 4, 2020 Thank You! So far so good Don't know what it is, maybe some kind of sporty beetllike japaneses sportscar. Quote
Magical Duck Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Wow, that is seriously impressive without any beams. Looking forward to seeing it as it develops Quote
Jurss Posted April 4, 2020 Author Posted April 4, 2020 Had a productive day, it is almost complete, just few things, f.i. one headlight. I was not planning now, but it seems, I will need to open mustang box. But I could leave it also like it is ... It has now: working steering wheel and HOG steering 2 cylinder rear engine openable doors seats position can be adjusted some details on panel Some more pictures will follow. Quote
Rudivdk Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 I like it! I would leave it as it is, with the one red headlight. It fits the 'different from the rest' personality of the build. The model has a typical 'oldschool technic' feel about it, makes me nostalgic somehow... Quote
SamuelYsc Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Cool project and nice idea! I am gonna try this idea next time... Quote
Jurss Posted April 5, 2020 Author Posted April 5, 2020 I think I've finished with this Changed from previous rear view mirrors moved from doors to A pillars front fog lights added littlebit modified (finished) front fender changed front lights added door stops, so they don't move in little addition to rear spoiler Some details in interior - working steering wheel, gear shifter (also can be used for steering :) ) , pedals, speedometer, two seats with possibility to adjust position Rear differential and two cylinder engine Some close-up of HOG steering mechanism Front part of steering mechanism. Everything connected with rods. And finally Of course, in creation no beam was har... , used. Despite of that, car is pretty sturdy not only to display it. Of course, some 3 year old will break it pretty fast, I suppose. Quote
sirslayer Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Cool model!!! and you're so quick on building it.. why not a 3rd time the charm?? Quote
1gor Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Like 8880 mini version that is inspired by Bug... Very original Quote
astyanax Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 I think I spotted a few of part 18654... doesn't that count as a 1x1 beam?! Quote
MangaNOID Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 exactly how a Technic car should be. Its beautiful very good thinking Quote
msk6003 Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 When every time I saw this title, I was surprise.... Because my first name is 'ma'. Anyway, I always thinking MOC like this(in my case, GBC module). Great achievement! Quote

1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Very nice job you did here ! Building with constraints boosts creativity, and that's a nice example! Quote
Jurss Posted April 11, 2020 Author Posted April 11, 2020 Thank You all for good words. Today I wanted already to put this in to entry topic, but then I realized, that I don't have one critical thing Quote At least one image of the chassis, so take a pic where we can see the chassis before you close the bodywork. It was really hard, but somehow I managed that Quote
