Magnum Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 A tease image is fine but LEGO actually said: prepare yourself for it! When asked if there is a new set coming. Quote
m0repotter Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Is this user reliable? https://www.instagram.com/p/CfxV9o7PXmN/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link they made it seem as if they know for certain a ST set is coming Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 I hope a more reputable leaker chimes in soon. The Upside Down was first rumoured around three months ahead of its release if I recall, so we should hear something soon Also, kind of a missed opportunity. They should‘ve released a set in-between Vol1 and 2 to capitalise on the hype Quote
Lion King Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Can someone please remove “2019” from this threat name? Quote
The Stud Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I finally finished Season Four and man, Lego would be sitting on a gold mine if they don’t do more Stranger Things sets. I’d like to see them make it a full-fledged theme instead of getting a scattered few every once in a while. Right off the top of my head, there’s like three or four sets that I could imagine Lego doing for this season, let alone if they went back to previous ones. Hell, a CMF series would sell like crazy. Quote
MAB Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Three years later, they have done the new Brickheadz of the boys. I am also a bit surprised they aren't cashing in on the final season which is coming soon. I doubt they'd do a series of sets but with minor characters that have become main, they have maybe 12-14 characters so could surely do a $300 16+ or 18+ set. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 12 Posted October 12 A Bricktap member said another large set is coming! About time!! I wonder what it could be since seasons 3 and 4 (and presumably 5) are much gorier than the first two Quote

I wonder what it could be since seasons 3 and 4 (and presumably 5) are much gorier than the first two This is actually fairly surprising since the new season is MA 15+ and Netflix has retroactively applied that rating to the whole show. The Creel house seems the most likely choice, although hopefully they would take a different approach to it than with the previous set, having both the regular version and the upside down variant of the same building just seems superfluous to me. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 13 Posted October 13 The Starcourt Mall seemed like such an obvious choice at a time, but I think that they will focus on the latter seasons—either something from the last one, or as @Coryo mentioned, the Creel House would also make sense. There are so many characters that we'll never get, but I do hope we get Max and Nancy, plus Robin, Steve and Jonathan. Anyway, can't wait to hear more details about this. Easily my most anticipated 2026 set. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 13 Posted October 13 The only thing I wouldn‘t like is a remake of the Byers‘ house, everything else would be great! Vecna‘s lair would be my choice Also, 2026 is shaping up to be another great year! Mando & Grogu, Minas Tirith, more One Piece sets, Pokémon, Ganon(dorf), and another ST set? Count me in!! Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I just hope it's not 500€ or anything like that, I want something more similar in size to the previous one. Maybe bigger, but not by that much. Quote
strangely Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I'm delighted that we're finally getting another set. The one downside is that the cast is large enough that it feels unlikely that we'll get all the main characters unless this is a massive set. I'd love a Starcourt Mall set depicting the final battle in season 3. Creel House would also be amazing, and has a lot of set potential. It would be a good opportunity to get Max, Steve, Nancy, Robin and Vecna. Perhaps they could give a side builds of the surfer boy pizza van to give us Eleven, Jonathon, Mike and Will. I've seen that some of the new toys are based on the upcoming season, so it might also be based on that, which is fine too. I'd just prefer one of the already iconic locations. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I’ll rank the ideas I’ve seen so far from my least favourite to my favourite options Remake of the Byer‘s house: please no. The 2019 set is one of my favourite sets ever released and I‘d rather have something different with new characters! Hawkins Lab: I feel they‘d be hesitant to depict a location where a bunch of kids got massacred S5 location: Could be cool, but we don‘t know enough yet to really judge anything. Starcourt Mall: awesome location, a cool monster, and all the main characters are all present, so lots of options! The issues are said monster (since the mind flayer’s avatar consists of dead humans and rats) and the lack of Upside Down iconography in the location itself. I think they‘d want to depict the Upside Down in a follow-up set ^^ Creel House: Definitely my personal favourite idea, as I said before! Awesome spooky location and lots of minifig potential! The downside is that a lot of the cast would be absent. Quote

But on the other hand Creel House is going to be present in Season 5 so I feel like they could do something similar to the 2019 but with Creel House and include characters from both Seasons 4 and 5 maybe? Plus it would give us a Veccna figure which we wouldn’t get if we got the Mall. Quote
MAB Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I imagine it would be the Creel house or a remake of the original upside down house or something from Season 5. It will have been 7 years since the original set, so a remake is not out of line especially given the rise of LEGO fandom since then. It would be interesting how they do the children. It is a bit like Harry Potter where they have gone from little kids to young adults. Fortunately they tend to have generic clothes so a leg switch can easily change their ages. I think I'd skip it if based on Season 3, by far the worst of them. But also I don't really see how they can do the mall and what is underneath it in a practical way. Quote
Sucram Posted October 16 Posted October 16 A full starcourt mall set seems impractical unless its giant, so the creel house is definitely the best candidate. Would also love Mike's house which I personally prefer to the Byers' place. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 16 Posted October 16 3 hours ago, Sucram said: Would also love Mike's house which I personally prefer to the Byers' place. I don‘t see the relevancy of that house for a set. Sure, that‘s where they play DnD and where Eleven is hiding in S1, but it has no connection to the Upside Down and there‘s no way they‘ll release a ST set without featuring it in some capacity Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) Some more details, thanks to @Brick Clicker: Set Nr 11370, 2593 pcs, ~$300 It‘s allegedly based on S5 (potentially the radio station seen in the trailers) 13 minifigs! Release date Jan 1st! In January already?! Can‘t say I saw that one coming! Can‘t wait for more info Edited October 17 by BrickBob Studpants Quote
Coryo Posted October 18 Posted October 18 8 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Set Nr 11370, 2593 pcs, ~$300 13 minifigs! This is really promising, 13 minifigs would seem to cover the entire main cast with the 6 younger kids, 4 older teenagers, Hopper & Joyce, and probably Vecna. Too bad about Eddie though if it's based on S5. The upcoming Goonies set is probably the easiest thing to compare it to, with a similar price/piece count and 12 minifigs. They were able to include unique torsos for each of the characters, and a couple of new molds, so I imagine it will be the same here. Would this not be breaking Lego's rule about R-rated media though? I'm not sure if it works the same for streaming shows as it does for regular movies/tv shows. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I absolutely did not expect it to release so soon. That's literally on the same day as the series finale! What a fantastic coincidence. If it gets a GWP, I'll have to buy it Day One. Thirteen minifigures sounds amazing. Probably the core five, Max, Nancy, Steve... either Robin and Jonathan or Joyce and Hopper. And then Vecna. I hope they choose an interesting location. The price point seems really reasonable, 300€ is just what I hoped for. Quote

According to @Brick Clicker, there are two GWPs in January, so one of them could be for ST! The other is definitely tied to the new modular, as per the usual. 2 hours ago, THELEGOBATMAN said: Thirteen minifigures sounds amazing. And if there‘s a non-yellow box GWP, we could even get a minifig or two more! Murray would be cool to get, or perhaps Linda Hamilton‘s character ^^ Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Another small update: It‘s not the radio station! Honestly, I‘m really glad about that. Whatever it is, I want it to be directly related to the Upside Down! My money‘s still on the Creel house Quote

Makes sense, get it out when the hype is at its peak. Strange they did not release it before the season starts, maybe the set leaks something from the show Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 19 Posted October 19 13 hours ago, Roebuck said: Do not think that is a coincidence at all It's a coincidence in the sense that the finale releases on January 1st (if you don't live in the US), and the first days of the month are the day nearly all sets release. For example, if the finale was set for January 5th, the set would still release on the 1st. So it's just a really cool thing. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 20 Posted October 20 The set is confirmed to be the Creel House! Comes with 13 minifigures, including Steve, Robin and Vecna. Includes side builds, such as the radio van from Season 5. Quote
