Zerobricks Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) Nice use of H frames to hold the rear axle and nice to see the new suspsension arms being put to good use! Best of luck with the project, Ivan. Edited April 6 by Zerobricks Quote

Best of luck with the project, Ivan. I'm constantly looking how to enforce my chassis with frames...don't want to mention how often I needed 15 x 7 "O" shape frame with no reinforcement (in black)...axles are no diffetence; the stiffer the better (and conoact as possible). The only drawbacks are that I need to make steering rack that don't colide with shicks, and pin mounting part on hub reduction is always in the way if something... Edited August 13 by 1gor Quote
1gor Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 (edited) A little update to JCB Fastrac since you all discouss about Volvo, Ford Bronco, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini etc... ...chassis is slowly taking shape despite "music" from nearby pesants playing with chsinsaw, repeating the same (music) Bar over and over again; no wonder my pets start to bite themselves... ...anyway I'm trying to enjoy sunny weather and try to build Fastrac as much as possible... Aren't you constantly getting back inside to get other pieces? :D Aside from that: Finally this thing comes together, it's about time :-P Quote

Lots of time I was waiting for small suspension arms from Formula 1 sets...and still need some connevtors in right color (black) I'll make it (someday), but I got constantly disteacted and deconcentrated by unplanned circumstances...and I'm not the one who spents my all free time in company of bottle of beer or something like that... 1gor Posted August 11 Author Posted August 11 (edited) After long time I have some development to show on my JCB Fastrac 8330...buggy motor and BuWizz are properly hidden, but in future I'll see if there is a possibility to make small and at the same time stiff enough front axle to enable front drawbar... Special thanks to @eric trax who designed tires that I use at the front (you can see them detached), @Zerobricks who helped me with BuWizz and buggy motor and very very special thank to @Malek83 and his honored family who provided me CLAAS Dominator. @Jundis I hope that what you see I wont need to touch anything on current update, just to finish front part and rear 3 pont hitch and drawbar... @steph77 I'm still looking forward to see your Fendt inspired tractor with front loader. Any comment is welcome Edited August 11 by 1gor Quote
eric trax Posted August 11 Posted August 11 It's great to see you have the patience to finish this project after so many months of construction. It looks great so far. I can't wait to see the final result. I really like the side profile of the hood! Quote

I made hood in 2020 and it is only thing that survived since I was developing 1:15 Fastrac 4220. Actually I need time and piece which I'm lacking in last several years... I start developing this one when you anounced Dominator. 9 minutes ago, Ngoc Nguyen said: Do backhoes qualify for this thread Why not; If this 8330 would not end up stiff anough with minimal features that I mentioned, I'll make 1:15 scale Fasteac 4220 and the plan to make 3CX with tires from CLAAS Dominator. You are always welcome to post wharever you like. Quote

And a big plus is that you already finished the cabin so now you can focus on the front axle and hitch :-) Actually cabin is just small evolution od cabin used on previous Fastrac 8330 version; the one using 2 large motors for drive and with front tires where I put 24 x 43 ord tires into Zetros tires to achieve 88mm diameter; but that tire was like wood - to hard for that...when I find some tile with gadgets I'll make better interrier...perhaps tomorrow I could work on front axle...just have to brainstorm how to connect axle from PF servo that don't have such slack (stronger CV joints are bigger than one stud in diameter) Quote

steph77 Posted August 12 Posted August 12 looks quiet good so far. I have a question : how will you built the 3 point hitch? and how will it be motorized? To answer your previous question, i still work on my fendt and it's attachment. project is still alive Quote

To answer your previous question, i still work on my fendt and it's attachment. project is still alive It will be manual since I need to manually use pins or axles to attach what I want...motorized functions are: - drive - buggy motor - steering PF Servo - front PTO - medium motor - rear PTO - medium motor Before Dominator I was at the end of 1:15 Fastrac 4220 project with same functions, only with multiple steering modes and then one of Servos was broken... steph77 Posted August 12 Posted August 12 OK I understand your pov. Mine use the 6 entries on the buwizz. 2 for the front loader 2 for drive and steer and 1 for the hitch and 1 for the pto. I place a second pto in direct link with the differential too. I actually wait for a longer CV joint for the next step. Quote

At the moment BuWizz with 6 ports is out of my financial capabilities. Kind regards Quote
