There is also a trans orange version of the new fox thing in the Dreamzzz waves. Fire fox? Or do we call it Mozilla?

The frog is nice, I'd kind of been expecting them to do a Friends-style frog with a printed face for years—it'd be perfect for if they wanted to do a "Princess and the Frog" set with Tiana and/or Naveen transformed, since the classic Lego frog, as iconic as it is, doesn't exactly have much personality.

January City wave is mainly vehicles, so pretty stingy on animals. But there is a standard grey shark in one set and a new color of vested dog (tan with orange) in the Coast Guard Rescue Boat. 
 

And as an embarrassment of riches, the Friends style axolotl appears in both pink and aqua in the same set!

Pretty stingy was a understatement I would say 
I hold my hope for the tractor, but not a single animal. Did not reuse the pigeons either

So much for the „axolotl“ in the Dreamzzz sets, it‘s a wolf-like fantasy creature instead  Still looks cute, but not what we expected! Love the Friends version tho

Can you guys tell me your sources? I want images!!!! There's nothing on Brickset yet, and I've been scouring the web for an hour. I need to see those new animals!!

I tend to use the legoleak subreddit, but pretty much everything is on Brickset now.

Seems to be another deliberate attempt to get people to buy all the Dreamzz sets by having a different colour beastie in almost every set ….

Urgh. Correction. 60504

With the small Friends set featuring the pink and blue axolotls, with a small vehicle and habitat build, it’s almost as if Friends has replaced City in producing the small-yet-animal-heavy sets

White pigeon in the new modular, as well as a grey one!

And an unprinted white kitten as a statue.

It’s not the normal fox though - it’s a fantasy thing, which comes in four different trans colours across the Dreamzz wave

The Arctic fox is currently showing as Out Of Stock on B&P. I wonder if that’s it gone forever? Can’t really see it being over-purchased at even the ‘bargain’ half-price of £5.57 each.

Just as I expected/hoped for with the pigeon house on top.. 2 with one new colour is decent at least and give some variation to the flock

Half price so that means it is a good deal to a lot of people, so just sold out probably

Ah but I’m still happy with fantasy creature no matter if it’s fox or not! :) 

As for white pigeon, you might be diapotiend if it never show up on PAB just like the tan kitten.

The January wave is very disappointing on all fronts. Really hope the summer gives us a better animal selection and the next CMF regular series.

I heard that it was going to be on Pick a Brick on January 1, which is exciting! But they're going to charge more for it than the grey pigeon. $230 each, but if you order before June then each one comes with a free modular GWP...

Absolutely. Half expecting a wave of Friends sets next summer based in the Savannah regions of Heartlake complete with mascara-wearing rhino and a hippo family with heavy eyeliner just to taunt me!

So, where are we at for the tally of NEW revealed animals coming 2026?

is this about right?

City/Normal animals:

- recoloured white pigeon, recoloured tan dog with coastguard vest, new European robin and nuthatch printed small birds, and a plain white butterfly

Friendsified animals:

- new axolotls, new frog, new sitting bunny, and a new ‘banana pose’ seal (and a bunch of recolours / prints for existing animals)

DreamZZZ

- new fantasy treasure creature in four transparent colours

Harry Potter

- existing wolf, cat, otter in plain trans blue colour as ‘patronuses’  

 

is that it? Only Dreamzzz and Friends get new moulds?
