Yeah I just tried it works for that hair piece helmet combo.  Now it's just a waiting game to see if it's new or the claws on that hairpiece combo.

Also E-bay but might be more expensive than the other 2 depending on where you are.

Just about any light bluish grey helmet will work with the minifigure. But these hoods might also go well with the colour scheme of her legs and torso.

I like the look of that.  I have some of the purple samurai helmets I will have to try those to see what that looks like.

That double bladed part comes as part of a multi-pack with a bunch of other blade pieces that could also be very useful and versatile for arming historic and fantasy characters! And in a number of different metallic colors, too (though Silver Metallic/Flat Silver is definitely the best match for the Moon Warrior minifigure, and I love how well it reflects the figure's general crescent moon motif).

That weapon pack debuted in the Ninjago theme so most are designed to resemble blades from traditional Japanese bladed weapons like the tantō, naginata, bisento, and kama/kusarigama. But a lot are basic enough that they could also be used for historical tools/weapons from other parts of the world.

In particular, the hooked blade could easily be repurposed as a sickle for European farmers and druids, and the bisento blade could also work for various styles of billhook, bill, war scythe, or fauchard. The tantō could also work as a more generic knife/dagger.

Mea culpa! I'll try to MOC less appealing minifigures next time 

If you want to replicate my moon elf warrior exactly and you don't have the parts already, you'll also need the helmet (of course), dao and head - none of which come with that CMF.

Thanks for saying you like the look. I did think of the purple samurai helmet, but I'm not a big fan of that part. It's too splayed for my liking.

Thanks! It's a shame the blades aren't barbed at the end of their inside edge to exactly match the crest on the shield and breastplate.

The minifigure is purist (even though I used a technique LEGO frowns on). I don't think I could have come closer with the helmet's ornament even if I had gone non-purist. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That does look good, though unless I resort to brcklink it wouldn't be easily amassed, well I say amassed, I only have 4 of this fig at the moment and though I plan to get more and have little army, I wouldn't be more 20 in total, probably around 12 or so. I do already have all the parts so I could make one, for a leader of sorts. Though I think my Ice Queen will keep her head for the time being.

Thinking about heads I might want to cover more of the face so it's less obvious that there is a lack of face variety.

If you do, could you post a picture here. That helmet is definitely easily amassed, cause it's on the bricks and pieces for a vaguely decent price. It is very wide though and quite ornate for a foot solider.

I'll try to this weekend.  The purple hood does look good on that fig too.

I like all of those but I think the hood and the purple samurai helmet work best, though I might try and combine it with some sort of mask to give them more face 'protection' and make them less obviously identical, once I've made my platoon I'll be sure to post them here.

I don't remember if Ninjago has the mask in purple like the ninja use but that might work.  I'm talking about the one that just goes over the mouth area.

It has been made but sadly only in one set, so I might go for black instead, but if I find something else I might use that instead.

Nice! Can you take a picture of one with the helmet from the bottom left and the shoulder armour from the bottom right?

I Think it's more of an off-white colour, aqua like the head but here's a few pictures any way (The black Samurai helmets are place holders as I haven't got any purple ones yet). (Also I didn't have a plain white cape to hand so I used Harumi's)

 

I Also made a Commander (above photo at the right end of the 3) and a sage (below) using part's from the TLBM batgirl, I wanted the yellow because of the yellow on the ONI mask part, but I think it's probably a bit too much yellow so I'll adjust the fig before I finish the platoon, I still ned to pick up some more moon protector's but luckily my local Lego shop has pre-felt figs so I don't need to worry about getting the wrong figure.

To me, it seems like white that has been printed onto light bley, so the colour is just a bit off. When comparing the trim to the head, the head looks more blue.

I don’t mean to yuck anyone’s yum, but I can’t find much room for this particular CMF. I got one for my historical/mythology/fantasy CMF collection, but she’s just a little too far out there to fit in with anything else I have going on. 
 

I must say, it is fun to see what y’all are doing with it though as far as mixing parts and expanding on the concept.

I have a group of several different kinds of moon elves in my fantasy lego world and this warrior figure fits in perfectly with what I'm trying to expand upon.  I can see how it wouldn't fit in depending on what you are looking for or doing.
