Is there a way to separate these Technic disk joint pieces without damaging them? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=44225#T=C https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=44224#T=C I just tried on one of mine and found that rotating the two halves all the way to the end while trying to pull them apart gently worked and they came apart easily. All the way to the end, which means 90 degrees? I will have to try it. Thanks! Quote

Actually I found mine could go further than 90 degrees. If you can't get it I can make a video, perhaps mine are an older mould variant or something. Quote
Corydoras Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I have several of them assembled, but they are buried under dozens of bags of other bricks, so I haven't been able to try your solution yet. As soon as I find them, I will let you know if I managed to take them apart. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted July 15 Posted July 15 In the soundwave i noticed this pin connector hub, 15100. Is this new color🤔 it looks like dark azure or something similar Quote
Zerobricks Posted July 15 Posted July 15 It's from the azure Stingray: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=15100&colorID=153&in=A Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Is there any piece or combination of pieces that can serve the same role as the rolling ball in the ball holder? I think I need a more compact solution for my mini 42210. Quote

NV Lego technic Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Maybe a "shopping cart" type of wheel mount would work? Quote

Jundis Posted July 16 Posted July 16 As it will be in the smaller scale, do you really need a rolling ball or is a normal (bigger) ball joint sufficient? Quote

2GodBDGlory Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Even just a 2x2 "boat plate" might work? The same kind of thing you'd see on the bottom of a System model that has to slide? Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 17 Posted July 17 13 hours ago, M_longer said: This? I think this may be the best solution, but this setup can't be form locked vertically. I think when drifting, the back of the car just needs to slide in one direction, so the prop wheels dont really have to rotate, which means I can use two 1x3 thin liftarms and lock the setup vertically. Thanks for the suggestion! Quote

Thanks for the suggestion! If you think about the typical direction of force on that part, it will be holding it together. A pin would be fine. But also, you could just use an axle with stop and a few bushes and it would definitely not come off. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 18 Posted July 18 If that setup has to rotate, it will need a 3x3 space. In that case, I'd be better off using this. Quote
