What Does Your April Fool Do For a Living CONTEST

    Shadows
    By Shadows,

Announcing the highly anticipated first annual (and half a day late in some places, but who's counting?):

jester1.jpg "What does your April Fool do for a living?" jester2.jpg

    CONTEST!

It's April, no foolin', and here at Eurobricks we take April seriously, so seriously that we want you to make us laugh foolishly.

What better way to do that then to get you to build vignettes of your own personal fool, doing whatever it is he does for a living on this first day of April. Do I even need to mention that the crazier the entry, the better? Well fine, I'll mention it. The crazier the better!

What's in it for you? Well, that's a surprise, but be assured, we wouldn't think of trying to fool you. What kind of way would that be to start our very favourite month of April?

For full details, see the Entry thread located here.

    Sigh of Relief

    Hinckley
    By Hinckley,

Those high Pick-A-Brick prices seemed to have been corrected. :sweet:

    Courtesy of Brickset.com

    Dear LEGO fans

Based on all the feedback over the past week regarding our new Pick A Brick elements and pricing we will reduce the pricing on LEGO Pick A Brick elements.

There were good reasons behind our decision to raise prices of this relatively operationally complex Pick A Brick service. However, over the last week we have realised, thanks to you, that it was unacceptable to raise the prices so steeply without notice. We have acted quickly and have taken the decision to reduce the pricing on LEGO Pick A Brick elements. The prices cannot return to the original 2008 level but the increases are now much smaller. We are pleased to now offer you the biggest, most comprehensive assortment ever including:

    - More colours

    - Most recent doors and windows are now available in PAB and MOD

    - More longer beams to enable larger constructions

    - More accessories (such as hats, wigs and mini figure tools)

    - More mini-figs (now with girl and child (short legs))

    - More cool tires and rims

We hope to welcome you back to Pick A Brick soon.

    Your LEGO team

The new elements are exciting and the prices still reasonable!
