Peppermint_M Posted February 11, 2009 Vig. 59a (Thumbnail links to my MOC page) Quoted from the MOC page: "The brave Thaddeaus K Longflare captain of the Jolly Bob was sad to see his ship sink but grateful for the small islet that provided refuge. In the days since his unintentional marooning he built a shack from his sadly broken ship. He and Uncouth (the ship's parrot) sit with the treasure, awaiting rescue." I bought the Pirate Building Set today and rediscovered the joy of a box of plain bricks. I didn't really want to build any of the suggested models so I created one. There is a bit of SNOT involved too, but only very basic.

Peppermint_M Posted February 12, 2009 I have to say, it was wonderful to be presented with a pile of plain bricks. I do love all the new shapes and mouldings that have become available in the past few years but the bricks... My head just overloaded on ideas, I must have rearranged that little MOC at least six times... It'll be great fun when I get the castle one.
