Avatar Problems...

Recommended Posts

*AHEM*

Well, today I was going to temperarily change my avatar from this:

nor1-1.jpg

to this:

MasterGracey-1.gif

The problem being that my normal, Norington avatar did not change over to Master Gracey avatar, but just took on the shape and size of Master Gracey. I've tried multiple times, and I allways get the same result: My avtar only changes shape. This can be seen in my avatar at current.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can see the Gracey avatar but it doesnt move. Is the picture directly from Brickshelf? I know from expierience that it has to be from Brickshelf.

HHmmm... I don't see it still. As for the BrickShelf question, do you mean that's where I found it? NO. I found it on a website about the Haunted Mansion at Disney World, which fetaures this changing portrait of Master Gracey above the fireplace in the foyer. I saved it, an uploaded it to PhotoBucket.

This is one of those Firefox glitches. In Internet Explorer it displays, but is not animated. This could be because you uploaded it to the Eurobricks sever instead of linking it directly to another site, disrupting the GIF format. Try doing it over again.

I think PSP means you need it saved on brickshelf for it to display, which certainly isn't the case. ;-) Photobucket should be just fine, input the deep link right in the "Enter a URL to an online avatar image" box.

Well, I'll try that, but I've temperarilly moved Master Gracey to my signature so you can see his "Disquieting Metamrphasis"

EDit: It works, but I think I'll leave my sig for a while, because they are changing in unison, which is cool!

Good, you did it. However, I'd take out the one in the signature, possibly replacing it with the previous avatar.....just a recommendation.

It has a large vertical length.....

Thanks PSP guy. And to oo7, I took your advice, but instad of my previous avatar I put in a animated gif of Thurl Ravenscroft as Uncle Theodore the Singing Bust (in the ride, he's the broken bust. The reason for this is because the symytry of the bust's base was off, so the broke it so people wouldn't notice.)

Yes, I have. Afterall, joing the Imperial Forces, requires, "a show of commitment". Also, with the "Hoist the colors" thing, have you been watching pirate movies by chance?

Oh I am indeed a real pirate fan hehe !! One of the movie that mlade me fall into that piratie mood was Polanski's Pirates hehe (and the fact that I saw each year that beautifull ship docked in Cannes' harbour ;-) )

BUt that sentence is off course directly taken from POTC: AWE ;-)
