Erdbeereis Posted May 30, 2009 I do believe that this is my first topic here. Today, one of my old leaves (the ones with a round 1x1 with 3 leaves coming out) broke, and when I saw the leaf section at the base I thought "this looks just like a plume..." and sure enough, it fits! So if you need a green plume, here's something to consider. Thanks!
Captain Green Hair Posted May 30, 2009 Looks like he has a Cactus on his head. Looks pretty cool Erdy, very creative idea to use trash.
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 30, 2009 99% of my broken LEGO parts are dispatched to my bin as fast as possible. With a nice swing if possible. It seems to be you have found out something nice to do with broken LEGO. As the good captain said it exactly looks like a cactus. But it is a very nice solution if you have a shortage on plumes... You have to offer some greenery but it's still nice.

SlyOwl Posted May 30, 2009 Very nice! I love how Lego uses the same dimensions in a whole load of places which doen't ostensibly relate to each other. (good thing these come in bley too, as there's no Imperial Greencoats yet, hey Sandy? ) I would assume that the 3-leaf plant can also be used in the same way, for fully camouflaged troops

BlueBard Posted May 30, 2009 Nice use of those "so easily broken" leaves! Looks like he has a Cactus on his head. Mmmh, you gave me an interesting idea for a Flower Shop I'm working on...
Toth Posted June 1, 2009 Yeah. Very good idea. I had exactly the same idea when I first broke a little plant like this but used it with some of my Forestmen. Working better with them. moreover it's keeping the green color they all got in common. The fact that you see the feather fully with there hat doesn't make it look like a "cactus". What you can do in your case to make it look less straight and cactus is to bend it a little... If not you can do a little cut in it...you know....little triangle cut. It will look more like a feather after.
