prateek Posted January 6, 2011 Wow! This is great! I like the store/carwash building a lot. It's a good mix between modern and classic which is ideal IMO Also, nice job on the roof, but I think the other side of the station (i.e. the side with the price board) needs to be tiled. wooootles Posted January 7, 2011 I like that it looks like a 2011 version inspired by the early 90s station---that was my first town set, and I believe still is the best LEGO gas station of all time. Very nice.
lightningtiger Posted January 7, 2011 Not bad servo design 'tharris147', the pump design is quite old school Lego classic town Octan, but a suggestion would be that curved window to go on the other side of the build to give a art-deco feel while still being modernised with pumps and car wash. Anyway, great tile job to the roof too ! I'm a conformist! !
XimenaPaulina Posted January 7, 2011 Very well done tharris147! The 7993 Service Station is one of my most favorite City sets and I really like the significant modifications that you did with it. It's nice to see the expanded and completed store shop and car wash. Great job!
TWTaylor Posted January 7, 2011 I really like the little automated payment section of the carwash. Very nice detail touch. I have the 10184 Gas Station, but have never been really happy with it in my town layout. It's always the first thing pulled to make room for something new.
