CrazyDalton777's Custom Minifigures

Recommended Posts

I will use this thread to show photos of all my custom designed minifigures. These are all LEGO products that have had my designs printed onto them digitally. I am always looking for suggestions for minifigures and tips to improve my designs so please comment away! I owe some credit to "Raminator" as he showed me the ropes about working on printed customs.

NEWS

A design for Miss Marvel is complete. I don't know when I am going to be getting her printed but it should be around the start of May. A design for Bullseye is nearly finished too.

Well as I said, I'm sorry and I'll delete it now, I haven't been on Eurobricks for a while so I forgot about your post with a daredevil in it. Whats done is done and I can't go back and prevent it. I don't try to copy peoples designs, this was originally designed for a stop-motion which has been put on hold until I finish my Bullseye design. If you object to me putting either Bullseye or Miss Marvel when they are made (as you may have them in the pipeline/already made) then I won't post them.

EDIT: everything is awesome

I was not the first one who made a DD Figure.

If you got inspired by me or anyone else...fine.

You wouldn't be the first one using my gfx, but I released them to the public and got credit. This design, especialy the Torso gfx were only shown in fotos. Also you claim that this is your design.

But just ripping my design, is just awful.

Head and Torso are exactly the same. legs have just the belts on the other leg and in a lower position. only thing that came from you was the the boots.

This pretty much reminds me of the "Batbrick-Crysis" a few years ago...

Currently I'm really considering to go into NACM-mode.

Oh and btw: I have indeed 3 Miss Marvel designs that I'm now not going to print or show to the public.

As I said before, i'm very sorry. I will however say this. I did not go looking at your pics in an effort to steal your work and designs. That is a strong and very harsh thing to assume. I ain't going to be "ripping your designs" anymore so don't worry. I know for a fact that I designed what went on the printing of that minifigure on my computer and nobody is ging to convince me otherwise.

P.S - I literally have no idea what NACM mode is.

I won't print her either then, just also found something out. The template I used for Daredevil has been modified from its original form since its gone back to the printing company, I will upload mine to Flickr and show you. I will embed the image here and leave you to judge, on my template you will see that I added no belt detailing in the middle whereas the physical miniifgure does, the leg straps have a larger gap in the middle on the physical fig. Give me 5 mins to upload it.

This is legitimately how I sent it to him. After realising this myself, I concede that its my fault, I should have checked the minifig with the template design when it arrived. I literally gave up on this design as the printer kept having problems with the file (which you know about) and I didnt do anything about it, 5 days ago a package from Steindrucker comes with the DD minifig andd a printed Snickers bar so I automatically assumed that it was my design because I was so excited in getting it as I lost all hope of ever receiving it.

If you look at the back printing photo of the actual fig on my flickr, you will see that its completely different. Another thing I have just picked up on is the mask design, its a different shape to the one on the fig. Basically, I think they sent me the wrong thing because I didn't order the printed Snickers bar.

I talked to the printer and now I know what happened.

So in the end I want to apologize for the earlier posts since it was not your fault.

Please contact me for your next figs so there's less trouble for you and the printer ;)

Also: the snickers tile is a free gift that he includes with every order.

Its no problem, I know what its like to have your stuff stolen, its not a nice experience. In this case it was an accident. I will be more vigilant when receiving my figs in case a thing like this happens again. Would you mind if I used the minifig that I received in a stop-motion when I get my Bullseye printed?
