Recommended Posts

On

today, a Russian named HeroFactoryRU posted an alarming sight of a METEOR slamming into London, England! A rough Russian-to-English translation (using Babelfish) reveals this information:

" … New advertising video with the subtitle of " They of are of amongst of us" , designed in the form of news issue about the meteoritic impacts throughout the world. Video is dispatch to the advertising actions HERO Of factory in [britanskkom] LEGOLAND and LEGOLAND Of discovery Of centre, with competitions and souvenirs of the factory Of [geroev]." - ProBionicle.ru

Are you guys in London OK?

That's the original video. There's also a twitter account.

The translation is:
"...New promotional video subtitled "They are amongst us", designed as a news report about the meteoritic impacts throughout the world. Video is advertising HERO Factory actions in British LEGOLAND (LEGOLAND Windsor) and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, with contests and giveaways of Hero Factory souvenirs."

There was an article about it on Lego Club News page, but I can't find it.

This was actually already posted by LEGOHeroFactoryUK. Or at least, a variation of it was posted by them.

Details of the event were apparently posted on the LEGO Hero Factory Facebook page. That page has some pictures-- apparently it was connected with a LEGOLAND Windsor promotion where a large block of ice containing Hero Factory tokens was unveiled. Apparently kids could try and excavate tokens to win LEGO Hero Factory sets. Pretty cute promotion, IMO.

On an unrelated note, the Facebook page also had a contest with a prize of a Hero Factory color-changing mug. This is one of the main reasons I joined the page was to keep up with this sort of stuff that I would have totally missed out on otherwise (not like I anticipate entering any of these contests or whatnot). Any Facebook users might want to check this out for themselves!
