  1. Show me the stash of stuff that is just sitting around waiting to get finished, disassembled, displayed, organized, etc. Anything that hasn't meet their final resting place yet. I'll start..... Untitled by Pugsly14, on Flickr Untitled by Pugsly14, on Flickr

  3. no you did not do it right, the 1x1 round tile needs to be rotated 90 degrees to the right so it is next to the gray technic piece.

    MOD: Affordable Santa Fe 10020

Well, for parts that are not in the "usual" collections (and i mean that loosely) you'll probably need: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6215 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30357 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4022 OR http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64424c01 This is the hardest part but ciuld easily do it in black for MUCH cheaper: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2878c01 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4532 Besides the usual 1x bricks and 1x plates etc i guess you could build this for maybe around $75 maybe even less, i'm guessing (if you had to buy ALL the parts.) As there are no Doors in New Lite Grey I had to brick build them, I'm not 100% sold on them yet. The roofs are removable and am still deciding which is better, the one with these or these . I'm liking the second one better with the smooth roofs. These are based on James Mathis designs. The rear observation car is my fantasy car as i know there was never any built like that, I just REALLY like the Observation car and wanted to add it to the EL Capitan train. I have made 5 cars so far, the one without a door is my design. These have been in the process since Xmas.

    REVIEW: 4645 Harbour

Something just doesn't seem right in this picture......... the dock extending out is unlevel (or an optical illusion) needs something under the black 2x's to level it out.

Well, this is the scale I went with, I simply based it off the 1x4x3 windows and built around that. LDDScreenShot4 by Pugsly14, on Flickr

Exclusive Train 10219 Maersk Train (Exclusive 2011)

Maybe its the quality of the pictures, but it ALMOST looks like that gray is old light gray? i have been trying to compare it to ther things in the video. Also the split bases on the container are very nice addidition. Whether its old gray or bley it'll make a nice addition to the Mathis El Capitan models I am working on.

  23. This takes its inspiration and design from the Sante Fe set 10020. Being a Chicagoan, I love the C&NW livery. I also give props to the brickself galleries I browsed (sorry can't find the specific ones) for further inspiration. I have all the parts (mostly) to build this engine in the coming days and also have already built 3 double decker commuter coaches.
  24. 7590: Woody and Buzz to the Rescue; Toy Story; Released 2010; 92 Pieces; $19.99 USD This is my first review so please bear with me :) This set was purchased on Decemebder 8, 2009 from the Schaumburg Lego Discovery Center, located in Schaumburg, IL USA. For some reason they had them in stock there but not the Lego store inside Woodfield Mall located 1 or 2 blocks away. Buzz and Woody. Notice that Woody is about 1/3 taller than Buzz. This is due to the fact that Woody uses a 3 stud tall legs and Buzz is the standard 2. Buzz comes with a 2 piece wing section, the chest/helemet piece (with printed torso underneath) molded head and half helmet shield. Woody comes preassembled in its own sealed bag and the hat is permanently attached. Buzz with the firecracker attached. He is attached with a inverted tile with center post in the center. During the build, really simple but some really nice colors. Lime green and the blue look real nice togeather. :) All the pieces in this set are printed on and NOT STICKERS. I've seen too many stickers lately, this is a nice thing to see. R/C. He looks really good. Although in this picture i forgot the blue discs behind the white discs on the eyes. I added those in later pictures though. The wing in moveable up and down. It is a pull back self running car. I will grab a quick video of that in a few. please be patient on that. I really like this set. I loved the movie and this set is a definite keeper. The pieces and build are simple, but when built R/C is a really nice looking model. His pull back feature is a definite plus. The colors look great, the eyes are what does it for me. The 2 minifigs are the definate reason to get this set. Buzz is cool looking, the wings are a nice touch and add to the overall look of him. The only downside I have with him is that his clear shield easily pops off. Many times without knowing it when moving him it was gone and i had to go find it. Woody is different too. He is taller than most minifigs. His legs are 3 studs tall but his torso is the same as regular minifigs. His hat is non-removeable. This set is a good value at $19.99 USD. I would like to see it at $16.99 or maybe $17.99, but all in all, not that bad of a deal. I recommend this set to any collector and any kid who just wants a fun Lego model to build and play with, as it is very playable.
