  1. These are so cute! I would totally buy the cookie coasters.

    [MOC] - Airship Chess

After playing some old steampunk games, I decided to make a chess set using airships as playing pieces! Left to right: pawn, bishop, rook, knight, king, queen Queen: Devastator-class dreadnought. A fearless vessel bristling with broadsides and gun casemates. King: Pisces-class ferry. A weak, slow craft reserved for the ceremonial head of state. Rook: Scorpion-class carrier. A new invention, this vessel can strike targets at range with its fighter biplanes. Bishop: Shrike-class pursuit craft. A nimble vessel capable of dashing through openings in the enemy's defenses. Knight: Hornet-class strike craft. The Hornet is light and agile, allowing it to vanish behind enemy lines before unleashing a storm of autocannon fire. Pawn: Mayfly-class attack balloon. Mayflies are slow and weak, easily overcome by the enemy's flak batteries.
  3. The kaori is a rare cousin of the kahu, both bird rahi native to Le-Wahi. Like their cousins the kahu, kaori can be ridden, but kaori are much less tame than kahu are. For this reason the Le-Matoran prefer kahu mounts, though the boldest of their daredevils make an occasional sport of kaori riding.
  4. The year is 2003. We're back in Mata Nui! Enjoy this scene of daily life in island paradise, featuring fully-poseable Matoran builds. The Po-Koro pottery works turns local clay and flammable Onu-Koro mine gas into distinctive red pottery seen ubiquitously across Mata Nui. Matoran come from across the island not only to buy their pots but to watch the masters at work. Master potter Okoa throws pots on a custom-made, wind-powered pottery wheel. His apprentice Whe'ai meticulously glazes each pot with glazes made from local deposits of tin and iron. Together, Okoa and Whe'ai keep the kiln burning day and night. Their business partner Akamu is the salesman, tending their roadside stall and selling fine pottery to Matoran from all six villages.

    Custom Bionicle Hand help

You could try adding a custom-length 3mm tube to the inside of the joint to connect the hollow stud on the droid body better to the axle inside the ball joint.
  6. Absolutely amazing! I love how you made those pillars and how you've incorporated statues throughout the build.
  7. Yes, I made sure of that. Although I think it would be very flimsy.
  8. Or the converse, how do I make a picture a link. Can't seem to figure it out.
  9. Adventure Zeppelin Join Johnny Thunder & Co. on a state-of-the-art zeppelin inspired by the most iconic Adventurers set of all time! Though not particularly fast or safe, zeppelins are the only way to travel for stylish explorers of the 1930s. The streamlined cabin offers our heroes protection from the harsh winds and freezing temperatures of the upper atmosphere. Daring pilot Harry Cane operates a dizzying array of controls to keep the zeppelin on course. En route to their next adventure, the adventurers make good use of their down time. Dr. Lightning pores over an ancient treasure map while Johnny and Gail take a moment to prepare the crew's dinner.
  10. Looks like fun! For category 3 digital models, what kind of backgrounds are acceptable?

    [MOC] Temple of Technology

Really cool in a vaguely ominous, creepy way. It looks like it belongs on a mountaintop shrouded in fog.

    [MOC] Redwall Abbey

I loved these books as a kid! What a gorgeous rendition in such a recognizable medieval style! I love the weathering of the walls too, it really captures that ancient, enduring nature of Redwall that the books emphasized. Those towers are sure to keep the armies of marauding rats at bay
  13. What an incredible build! It captures all the swashbuckling thrill of the original adventurers wayyyy back when, in a sleek and updated style. It brings back nostalgia in the best way too - adventurers set was my first lego set. What a throwback!
