Location: C10 Marden Tags: Land Vehicle, Civil Building, Spaceship, Spying Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // Norah came to me and asked for my assistance in a mission that she felt I could help with. There was a secret Kawashita facility on Marden that Mantis wanted information on and she felt that I could gain access to this facility since she had gotten to know me lately and felt confident in me. While I was a bit apprehensive I did want to help and I wasn't quite sure how to say no without it being odd. She clearly thought I was an operative because she returned my outfit from when they had originally extracted me and got me onto a Mantis ship. Luckily the planet was under Mantis control so it wasn't very hard to get there. They dropped me off close to the facility and gave me directions on how to get there. I was surprised that they didn't give me any credentials or anything other than a name: Ken Barns. Norah told me that if I told the Kawashita people I was there from corporate on an inspection tour it would all go fine. I was quite dubious and yet I felt that I had to trust her. As I approached the perimeter of the facility multiple security people approached and demanded identification. I had seen them request both identification and biometric scanning of everyone to gain entry and I was suddenly quite nervous since I had neither. But I stuck to the plan and said that my name was Ken Barns and I was there from corporate for an inspection. Amazingly the guards said "Oh. Yes, go ahead." and they let me in. I was supposed to go to the main building and locate the primary hangar. Once in the main building I found someone and said I was looking for the main hangar. They gave me a suspicious look but I quickly said I was there from corporate for an inspection and they smiled and gave me directions. Upon arrival at the hangar I saw many people doing various work tasks on a spaceship. It was clearly a prototype craft and was impressive looking. One of the scientists working on it came over to me and said "Hey, who are you? What are you doing here, this is a highly classified area!" I said "Hi, I'm Ken Barns. I'm here from corporate for an inspection." and they said "OK, look around then. Let us know if you have any questions." I wasn't sure if it was the Ken Barns name or just that corporate inspections were to be expected, but it was like a magic key! I looked around at the craft and found out it was called the "Tropic Thunder" which was a bit of a play on the snowy conditions on Marden. It was a high speed and agile craft meant for recon. The prototype was currently unarmed but the production version would be lightly armed. It was a very impressive craft and I was going to have to file a report back to Octan also. Mantis had given me a small computer for notes, pictures, and to file a report. I knew it would be monitored, so I made a slight configuration change to bounce off of a relay station that Octan had compromised and was monitoring. This way while I couldn't keep Mantis from gaining this intel, I could at least make sure Octan also was aware. This was all getting so complex. At first I was just an Octan guy pretending to be a Mantis guy. But now I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude. At least I'm fortunate that my cover stories keep proving so strong! I mean, you'd never get this situation here where I'm walking two people I've never seen before to the weapons tower. I mean, for all I know, you could be MANTIS spies. Err... Yeah, those were the days. Back when Octan really was the friendly corporation. I'm talking about before we came to this galaxy. What was wrong with the old galaxy, that's what I'd like to know. I don't hold with this GATE travel nonsense. Don't understand how it works. Don't want to know either. What was I talking about? Um... Oh yes, the old days. Yeah, it was much better back then. I'm talking about before we bought Explorien. Why are you wearing that shirt anyway, young lady? It's quite strange behaviour. Yes, it is strange. The sort of thing that attracts attention, as I keep telling her. And I told you that I'm not going to wear anything with an Octan logo on it. I'd rather stick a catcus up my- What's that? Speak up! That's the trouble with young people these days, always muttering and wearing 'retro' clothes. If you ask me, it was much better in the old days. Anyway, here we are. Oh boy, that is a big gun. Yes, that will do nicely. What's that? Of course, we didn't need all this weaponry back in my day. People respected each other back then. I'm talking about before all that business with Blacktron- Wait, how old are- Don't interrupt me, young man. That's the trouble with you young people, you're always in such a hurry. Well, now that you mention it, we are in a bit of a hurry, so if you could just give us the access codes and be on your way... Yes, yes, hold on. You know, those youngsters back at base treat me like some old relic, but whenever the navigation systems go down it's always me who has to go on the long walks to the outposts. Those whippersnappers couldn't find their ways out of a paper bag. It is odd how often the navigation systems go down though... I seem to end up spending a lot of time walking out here on my own. Yeah, I wonder why... I guess technology just isn't as reliable as it was in my day. I'm talking about before we left the solar system. Oh, come on! There's no way you're- Listen old man, are you going to give us those codes or what? Alright, alright. Now there's a droid on the roof you'll have to work with... Oh, don't worry, she's great with robots. Now I just have to find which pocket I put the codes in... I'm not supposed to write them down, but my memory isn't what it used to be. Back in the old days I had the best memory around. I'm talking about before we- Oh, that does it! I'm starting to think I should have taken my chances with S.P.I.D.E.R... Thanks for reading! Unfortunately, someone must have confused artichokes with chayotes. They're both green, alright? Even more unfortunately, Octan must have heard about this, and sent spies to sabotage the project. One managed to release the prototype before he was killed. I got called in to contain the creature before it could escape into the jungle.

:: The Traig Treaty :: Junali 3815 In recent events on Traig I spoke to a society, calling themselves the Tron. Their marking had a resemblance to something I encountered in history books, but I can’t really recollect in what matter. Fey and Brazer are looking into that. Kawashita acknowledged that I am doing a pretty good job so far, so they freed me of my parol and given me extra authority. Basically meaning I can decide things for myself. Together with the Tron I fabricated a plan how to taunt the other two corporations speed in dominating Andromeda. Tron is part of an alliance called ALIEN, Alliance of the Liberated & Independent Entrepreneurial Nations. We are at the verge of a collaboration with this alliance, but they have some demands. These demands are of no concern of other members, maybe even a bit dangerous. For the sake of Kawashita I comply and agree to be escorted to Arium Major (F10). They supplied me with a spy outfit so the jumps are made easier. What my fate there will be is still a bit cloudy. I grab a small vessel, which was just assigned to The Collision. When I exited the docking bay a small squadron of four disc-like spacecrafts surrounded me and set course. We flew past a small dozen of planets before we entered the Arium Major subspace. My radio started to rattle. I expected to get instructions of one of the four spacecrafts, but instead the voice of Koro whispered in my com. He will report our conversation separately. In the middle of an asteroid belt in the outer orbit of Arium Major we halted. Now the leader of the pact contacted me just to tell me that we will hide in the astroid belt to conduct scans of Octan activity. We still float undetected between the large rocks circling around the planet as a lost moon, mapping the whole planet trying to find a save spot to land. .. end transmission ..

[O-G02] Freezing Cold Log of Jebediah O'Reilly: Entry #09 I have discovered a rogue Kawashita mining operation on the planet Freegate. This is a miserable place; the only reason anyone in their right mind would come here is to mine the Mithril, the hardest medal in the galaxy. I must remember to thank Pombe for letting me use his goggles; I hear he is quite busy. I count only two operatives and one vehicle; some sort of Kawashita snow scooter. BEGIN TRANSMISSION 03 SPECIAL FORCES JEBEDIAH O'REILLY TO OCTAN HQ SECURE CHANNEL 768954 5 JUNALI AD 3815 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, this has gotta be a new record. Less than 15 minutes had passed after Pombe submitted his report [http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=110301] to Octan HQ, I had a confirmed kill order direct from President Business sitting in my inbox. He wanted my Spec Ops team [widely regarded as one of the most efficient in all of Andromeda] to track down Isabel and silence her before she passed on anything she knew to M.A.N.T.I.S. The whole thing was to be very hush-hush. Imagine the PR disaster if anyone knew a spy had infilitrated Octan and fooled our top scientests into thinking she was dead! My team took a covert dropship to G08 where the wreckage was found. Luckily we didn't fall into any giant holes or encounter any massive, hungry worms! We located the crash site and used one of those nifty new bio-scanners to track Isabel's signature.[Thanks Dr.Long!] We found her sleeping in a dried out streambed. So there was water on G08 at some point... Funny enough, she was sleeping under a standard issue Octan bug net. Even though she works for M.A.N.T.I.S. at least she knows whose tech is better! My team and I checked the perimeter for security measures but found none. Evidently she didn't listen during my training lessons... Location: A06 - Guinevere Tags: A06, MANTIS, Spying - Equipment: Spying Outfit Double D's log 2: After a successful mission on Barnius, I was granted with a Spying Outfit and commissioned to head to the planet Guinevere. I ended up in the middle of nowhere in the blazing heat - but he was already used to that, and the new suit helped keep me cool. Finally, after hours of searching for life on the water-deprived planet, I came across a group of bird-like creatures nibbling on gel-like cactus plants that somehow acted as a source of water and other nutrients for the bird...things. Hey, my major is not in Biology. Unfortunately, some Kawashita drones were observing the birds too...but no matter, my new suit was equipped with one of those W.A.C.H. systems Massi had fumbled with a week earlier. The hack informed me that there were 2,000 drones like the ones here all across the planet. But these were....ehehm..."test" drones. Apparently Kawashita did not expect MANTIS to arrive a week early, so I easily decrypted their communication codes and transmitted some of my own to put them into a state of hibernation (no self-destruct mode unfortunately). Then I downloaded the drones' findings and mappings of the planet ;) ~ DD out AG: New Ground by David FNJ, on Flickr ------------------------------------- The cracked soil and the multi-colored rocks were quite fun to make! Shibboleth Location: A06 (Guinevere) Tags: spying science After Scorpio's brief adventure on Barnius, the council had decided that--despite the sustainability of the planet--M.A.N.T.I.S. resources were needed more urgently elsewhere. His discovery of foodstuffs had earned him an impressive commendation from the Council (“such an excellent variety of mushrooms! And the Barnian grubs are the finest we have tasted in Andromeda!”), so he imagined he would be sent on yet another food-finding mission. Yet the brief Scorpio received was nothing he had ever expected. “We need you to go to Guinevere. On a spying mission.” “What? But I’m not a spy!” “Not important now. We need you to go because you’re resourceful…” “But…” “…dependable…” “But…” “…and most importantly…” “…Yes?” “You’ve got a bribe bag.” “Ah, well then, fair enough.” “Your dossier will contain further instruction. Any questions?” “Yeah, do I get a cool special suit or something?” “<sigh> Yes, I suppose you’ll need one.” Scorpio was to be accompanied by a small detail of special forces, as M.A.N.T.I.S. had gathered that there were be hostile forces starting to build on the planet’s surface. Further investigation had confirmed these reports, also adding the reason for their suspected colonization: gold was found in tremendous supply. Scorpio’s mission was to (1) determine the strength of any enemy forces on Guinevere. Once that was accomplished, he was to (2) obtain a sample of the gold for analysis, and make observations considering large-scale mining and extraction. The rest of the unit’s mission was to guard the gold Scorpio the gold. If the team’s presence were discovered, the special agents were to terminate any enemy threats, with interrogation and torture optional. Scorpio almost laughed when he was introduced to his team—they were not full-fledged agents, but Special Police in Training—SPIT, as they called them back on Torresta. It was actually a term of endearment, and was no way a knock on their abilities. The brief had just made this sound like such an important, high-profile mission, and here he was, a non-spy, being sent out with two—yes, only two—rookie guards. Oh well, at least he got a special suit. As a scientist, he outranked the SPIT, but this essentially just meant they called him "sir" all the time and then did whatever they wanted. Not that Scorpio minded; it seemed like they knew their job pretty well. They touched down on Guinevere, and the heat was overwhelming. The air, despite the sulfuric odor, was safely breathable, so long as you had a filter against the volcanic ash. Scorpio took off his helmet in an attempt to cool off, but the SPIT left theirs on (“combat gear, sir”). They ambled around until coming to a low, bubbling volcano. Scorpio’s scanner was picking up a weak signal nearby, when suddenly he was distracted by the sight of gold. Right on the surface. Sure, it was surrounded by molten, bubbling lava, but this was no different than back on Torresta! Mining and extraction would be a cinch. First to procure a sample for analysis... He took his pick and extracted a nugget, then summoned the teleportation crate. The gold secured inside, he punched an auto-analysis formula, and the code to return the crate to the ship. One thing he liked about this mission already was that he got cooler toys. Scorpio then had to turn his attention away back to his primary task: spying. “Why couldn’t they have sent an actual spy?” he muttered to himself as he fiddled with the calibration. They could see no signs of activity, so why was there a signal? Suddenly, one of the SPIT broke the silence. “FREEZE!” Scorpio spun around and saw a man in an Octan uniform just a short distance ahead, hands up. He dropped his instrument. "Found an Octan agent, sir!" The lead SPIT reported. "No, no, guys, you've got it all wrong! I'm here with you guys!" "They why you wearin' that Octan gitup?" The lesser SPIT spat. "Well, uh, we heard reports there might be Octan personnel in the vicinity, so the, uh, Lady K sent me in disguise, just in case." Scorpio thought the scenario sounded fishy. "The Lady K, huh?" he asked. The stranger nodded. "Then where is the rest of your unit?" "We crashed on entry to the planet. I have been wandering for hours—good news, I haven’t seen anyone else. I reckon Octan is light years away from this place. The real Octan, that is. You know. Not me. ‘Cause I’m not Octan. I’m with you fellers.” "Do you want me to blast this liar?" The SPIT interjected. “Well, you see, I would have radioed in, but my coms broke," the stranger explained. Scorpio ignored him; his patience with this Octan spy had worn thin. "Who was your unit leader?" Scorpio asked. "Uh, Dave. I was a part of Dave’s team," came the reply. Suddenly Scorpio's expression changed. There had been two missions sent to spy on Guinevere--Daring Dave had been the one leading the team on the opposite side of the globe. They had supposed to have contacted each other shortly after landing, but Scorpio had been unable to reach him. What if this guy wasn’t actually a spy? Perhaps he was telling the truth. "Did anyone else survive the crash?" "I don't believe so. I was unable to survey the wreckage because of the flames." Still, Scorpio couldn’t tell if he was for real. They hadn’t noticed any smoke from wreckage, yet given the planet’s volcanic activity, how could they? He needed a test, to make sure. Then, an idea came to mind. He whispered to the SPIT, “Private--keep your guns trained on him for just a second." Then to the stranger: “Well, we’re sorry to hear about the crash. I had better send a report to the Lady K immediately, and see what she would have us do. In the meantime, I am sure you are quite hungry..." "Oh yes, do you have any food?" came the earnest reply. "Why, of course.” Scorpio pulled out a jar, which he had kept from his trip to Barnius, and it pulled from it two fat, wriggly grubs. He could practically feel the anticipation in the air as the two SPIT licked their lips. "Well, here you go. A real tasty morsel, to help calm your nerves after all that you've been through." The stranger stood motionless. Week 4 of Andromeda's Gates by rodiziorobs, on Flickr Week 4 of Andromeda's Gates by rodiziorobs, on Flickr Week 4 of Andromeda's Gates by rodiziorobs, on Flickr "Boys, he's all yours!" Two quick pulse blasts later, the lesser of the SPIT inquired, "Do you think he really was an Octan, sir?" "Certainly; he wasn’t one of us, I can promise you that. He was probably sent up here to investigate our arrival, and the rest of his buddies are down there over that ridge setting up their own mining encampment. We had best proceed carefully.” This encounter raised a lot of questions: how did this spy know about the Lady K? and Dave? Was it a just lucky guess? or had Octan cracked their encoded communications? Or worse, yet, was there a mole in M.A.N.T.I.S.' operations? Surely the answers would not come easy. But in the meantime... Week 4 of Andromeda's Gates by rodiziorobs, on Flickr "Looks like Friday came early this week, boys, but I think you've earned it. Eat up, and let’s go see what we can see."

After my venture on Barnius and an appropriately romantic interrogation with Special Agent Dynarski I was transferred to Yallorn II, to test out a new rocket propulsion system built into my fuel pack and funneled into my boots, courtesy of the science nerds. Probably Big Sal. The rocks jutting out of this sea are nice to fly around, but in the dead of night a nearby speeder got my attention - nobody else was authorized to use this flyspace, it was designated for testing only. I had Sixer track its movements - for some reason it didn't give off electromagnetic readings, but luckily its engines were in overdrive so thermal imaging did the trick - and soon enough we were quick in pursuit. This propulsion system has some sick acceleration. Turns out the reason we can't see it so easily is because it's experimental stealth speeder, meant for quick recon incursions into enemy territory no more than ten meters above surface level. Sixer's picking up a communication from the science post I was assigned to test at, looks like they found a few bodies and the craft they were testing is confirmed to be missing. They're feeding me intel on how to exploit its flaws, but damn is this pilot smart. I have the advantage weaving between these rocks, but they prevent any easy reinforcement deployment. The only thing quick enough to reach us is a fighter, and they can't get down in here. For now, I'm on my own. I'm catching up, whoever the hell this guy is, he's in Kawashita colors, haven't dealt with them in a while. Suit's nearly overheating, I've pushing the propulsion far longer than advised. Adjusting weapon for a controlled burst, moving into range. Direct hit on- he's returning fire, performing evasive maneuvers. He's going down, Sixer's getting an ID on- he has a gun, taking- propulsion system damaged, losing altitude, Sixer, upload coordinates of lastlastlastlastlastlast [DATA CORRUPTED] Not the best editing, but this scene is bigger than my photo setup and I had to remove a lot of supports. Pretty happy for my first real sci-fi vehicle.

Location: Lesser Drigo F02 Tags: MANTIS, spying, building AG: MANTIS LD HQ by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's log 7: After a successful mission that planted MANTIS™ MTD© devices in Octan water extraction plants, I headed to a newly-built HQ where I would be able to send out an encrypted key that would give us the locations of the MTD© devices so that we can quickly locate Octan's facilities and carry out other necessary missions. After sending the correct encrypted signal from the computer, the MTD© devices popped up on MANTIS™ servers for only half a second before they disappeared (of course the locations were saved). After several hours of analyzing the data and other maps, we found out Octan likely had several extraction facilities that were concentrated around larger volcanos and exporting stations nearby. What was also interesting were "paths" that seemed to form river-like structures. Eventually it was confirmed that these paths were indeed rivers that ran underground. What was even more interesting was that it seemed that Octan was unaware of this river system. After a bit of debriefing, I and another Special Forces operative were ready for our next mission. Now that Octan has its entire water extraction program mapped, all that is needed is....oh wait, someone might be reading this. We have already sent Isaac Northwest from here, so you two will be going Southeast. Yes, we suspected that there would be an underwater river system, and this data from the MTD© devices that got carried away by the currents confirms it. Thankfully MANTIS™ built this HQ overtop of the suspected river system - now we can access almost any Octan water extraction facility we want. Yup, and we are now installing security systems that will be better than Octan's systems. You ready for this? Oh definitely! You first! Already on it ~ DD out ------------------------------------------------------------- More pictures of the HQ (with the working cranes that open up the floor) and the ground underneath it in the spoiler. This particular gap in the ground was about a gunshot away from a lava flow. Presuming Octan had also found this water treasure I swam what felt like downstream until I found it - a water collection device thingy (yeah, I know, my major is not in engineering either...). Pulling out my micro-tracking devices (MTDs), I let them get sucked up by the water device one by one. I wish I could get a look at the top - I'd probably see Octan robots doing most of the work. The location information provided by these MTDs will provide MANTIS with other key locations in case we, uh, nevermind. ~ DD out The spoiler includes extra blacklight shots, close-ups of the underwater landscape, the Octan water processing plant, the working crane, and the water transportation vehicle. --------------------------------------- Man, this MANTIS stuff is a blast! I got to experiment with adding the dark green 1x1 bricks in the rockwork to give the rockwork some noticeable strata. The crane works quite well, and the rubber band is there to keep the water containers from slipping out easily. The water transportation vehicle turned out quite nicely with the suspension and being able to snap back to its normal position because of the rubber band and also to give the wheels a little bit of resistance when going over a bump.

Following a suspected enemy sabotage in the labs of First Branch Executive Scientist Big Sal, I made further inquiries of the team that had been assigned to clean his facility in off-hours. Raw recruits, assigned to cleaning duty before they'd get any time off-base. I did some more probing and found of them suspect: Norbert Falveen. Has a background as an Awesomnium miner back on Torresta, but strangely had completed an engineering degree years ago. I did a backtrace and came up with a big red flag: his scholarship had been provided by a smaller corp M.A.N.T.I.S had outsourced to construct non-vital starship parts, that had later been pegged as Octan sympathizers that designed deliberately faulty components. The corp had been completely dismantled years ago and its executives imprisoned indefinitely, but perhaps Mister Falveen had picked up a thing or two from them. The particular facility he worked on was established in one of the moister lakebeds as a control for tests in other, drier ones. I had Sixer shadow him on his cleaning patrol with an infrared scan. At approximately 21:13 to 21:17 he circled around the same route three times before stopping at one of our short-range transmitters, then completing his patrol. I uploaded Sixer's scans and converted them to high-res images - it didn't take long to figure out he was tapping our transmitter and uploading information to an unidentified location concerning some of our more classified scientific operations. An Octan plant. The second day, I came along with Sixer. The scientists weren't lying, the seasons really do change everything on this planet. When I hit the Octan pod, everything was nice and dry and flammable. Here, they had to dig into the mud just to get the support posts in. These deeper lakebeds provide about the only moisture on the planet this time of year, so the plants grow everywhere, including our walkways. Trudging through it all is a chore. I've put Sixer on low-emissions and moved ahead of Falveen, to the transmitter. If he's lucky, he won't see me coming. If not, then he'll get to see what justice looks like right before I lodge it in his neck. Win-win. For M.A.N.T.I.S, anyway.

Location: F04 Illustria Tags: MANTIS, spying Double D's Log 41: I've been following this one particular Octan Special Forces operator for a second week now, and I've finally got a lead. Octan moved it's fleet in what seems like a retreat back to sector H03. I was able to hear them very clearly due to MANTIS spying technology coupled with the very expensive equipment put into my helmet. In his conversation with some Octan guards, I overheard them talking about Octan's fleet and future strategy, but no specifics were given except that "everything that you need to know is in this file, now go, before Double D catches up to you." Was this a challenge? Well then, I accept!

Location: H03, Kaalin Tags: MANTIS, Spying Double D's Log 40: It's been a while since the last militant conflict with Octan operatives, but I have a feeling that is about to change.... I've followed one Octan Special Forces Agent undetected, or so I think. I have a feeling that I'm getting closer to Octan's main base on Kaalin, though I can't shake this feeling that I'm being led into something.... Octan and MANTIS fleets have occupied sector E01 for quite some time, and hopefully getting into Octan's base on Kaalin will help MANTIS intel find out how to better combat their fleet.

Will report to the CEO when further intel is available" Fiddy This is my second build, let me know if the tags are ok, not entirely sure what im doing.

Location: F03, Forring Tags: MANTIS, Spying Double D's log 38: My mission was simple - get in, copy files onto a computer and get out... We're testing out new computer software that changes SFTP into FTP but make it still look like SFTP to Octan computers. We located a non-critical computer first to see if it properly installs on Octan devices. We'll know if it works by next week. ------------------------------ Yeah, I know, this is a super quick build. Hopefully I'll have some more time in the future for builds, but this weekend was quite busy (though in a good way!). Kudos to those familiar with SFTP and FTP

Location: H03, Kaalin Tags: MANTIS, Spying Double D's Log 39: For my next mission, I was sent to Kaalin to work on "environmental sustainability." Octan had been extracting the awesomnium-rich blueish gel from the ground in one area on Kaalin that effectively sucked the life from the poor tundra plants. Hopefully we destroyed the gel extractors in time before too much gel was absorbed by the machines. Unfortunately our Science department could find no good way to put the gel back into the soil without damaging the ecosystem further, so they instead advised us to try watering the plants. The gel was taken to MANTIS labs for awesomnium-extraction

Location: F02, Lesser Drigo Tags: MANTIS, spying, land vehicle Double D's log 33: Upon arriving on Lesser Drigo I was sent into one of Octan's facilities that had many Octan servers. I was given a simulator device to put into one of the Octan servers that would then copy itself onto the system and then copy itself onto any other connected servers in a subtle manor. The key, invisibility. Of course, I had a sweet getaway vehicle, and it's the fastest one yet! ~ DD out

Location: F02, Lesser Drigo Tags: Spying Log of Agent G: I can't believe this. I get back from my vacation, and they send me on a spying mission. On Pombe, no less. M.A.N.T.I.S. always has at least one spy on Pombe at all times. We would just bug him, like we usually do, but he doesn't wear any clothes. Oddly enough, this is not the strangest situation one of our Pombe spies has gotten into. But what could he be doing out on this abandoned walkway with a figure dressed in red...? I'M BACK! yay! Sorry for the bad picture quality, camera is not working. C&C welcome, hope it's okay that I used you, Pombe.

Location: E02 Time: 0900 hours Tags: Land Vehicle, Spying Octan has decided to transfer highly sensitive information by a fast and lightly guarded speeder. Fortunately MANTIS Secret agents knew this and were lying in wait. The MANTIS agents laid a trip wire to flip the speeder. As an extra precaution, the trap location is surrounded by additional armed MANTIS agents. [imagine that this now is the other side of the wire.] The speeder flipped over the wire, broke apart and caught fire. The orders were clear: eliminate all enemy units. MANTIS HQ never said we couldn't set the jungle on fire, though. Agent Sally takes the suitcase with highly sensitive information. The valuable information is of course the whole reason for this trap.
