  1. Thanks guys! I've got a few more CCV entries to make, but minus this one, I've got about 5 already done. I may photograph those 5, then work on the others, or photograph them all at once. But keep your eyes peeled for more CCCV entries from me. ;-)
  2. Thanks! :-P Back at ya! :-D
  3. Come on people, Sir Nadroj needs your votes!!!! X-D :-P
  4. Too late! :-P Well, here's my first cast. Not 100% perfect, since it's my first, but 1000 times better than I thought it'd be. I'll need to go get that primer and paint tomorrow and see what I can do. If it looks superb, I may make more and sell em' for the holdiay season, if not, I'll work to perfect this one, and/or try a simpler elements, or in this case, character. Max Rebo is fairly complicated, espeically for my first. The ears got a little messed up during the mold-making process, but they don't look horrible. Another thing is that my brother instruced me to fill up the pour spout. I don't know if that was the best thing to do, although it made it much easier to remove the cast. But I did saw it off with an X-Atco saw, which is why his head is sort-of flat. But this mold making process and clear plastic has potential for some cool, custom ghost shrouds! Maybe next Halloween... *skull* ....................... ;-)
  5. Happy birthday guys! *sweet*
  6. Sorry about the double-post, but I wanted to give you guys an update with pictures: Recently, I decided I would give it a shot and try to sculpt a character's 'head/torso' for use with minifigures. So I chose Max Rebo, because I'm, frankly, obsessed with the little blue Ortolan! So I sculpted a head/torso similar to the way the official Watto sculpt is ~ it covers part of the torso with his belly and it covers back of his torso with, well, the back of his head. I unfortuantely forgot to take a picture of the original sculpt (polymer clay) but I have some pictures of the mold/box. The mold box process was a success, but I'm not sure if the mold itself was, as I have not casted any yet. I'll need to go get some paint, also. Any tips on paint/primer/etc. are appreciated. *sweet*
  7. Thanks! I found this set at TRU. I'll probably get it as a stocking-stuffer. But I didn't notice the new handcuffs! Certainly better than the BM ones! *wub*
  8. Oh, in that case, see ya! :-P
  9. What do we win if we guess correctly? :-P
  10. I concure with Sinner and Lord of Pies. :-P

  12. Another great interview! *y* Keep it up! ;-)
  13. It's a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a cardboard box that says "System", wrapped in.... ;-)
  14. Thanks for the heads up Chuck! Hehe, up-chuck. ;-) Some are available at TRU, too.
  15. I went to my local TRU today and they had the tank and the robot flying thing ~ which I like because it comes with all those new swords as propeller blades! *y* Looking foward to seeing your pics! *sweet*
  16. Speaking of LEGO T-Shirts, I made one on Cafe-Press.com LINK: http://www.cafepress.com/waterviewvilla.105968955 :-D
  17. Is it even possible to still play with LEGOs. Ughhh... when will these people learn!? *sing* My family always calls them legos and every time they said it like that I'd correct them, so at least I've enlightened some people! :-D
  18. Oh. Well I did tell you I was oblivious to Halo! :-P
  19. Good luck guys! *y* Any votes for me are appreciated! *sweet*
  20. :-D Good job! Those pesky ghost skeletons! You can't live with em' and you can't live without em', whatever that means! :-D *y*
  21. Yup! ;-) The two I was working on last night crumbled because of the clay when I baked them. I don't know why, but I made an even better Max Rebo. ;-)
  22. Frankly, I'm oblivious to Halo, and I think you know that ;-) , but I must say the robot is really cool! *y*
  23. Those are some great deals ~ thanks for sharing! *sweet* But I probably won't be able to get them anyway ~ I've got an ever-expanding BrickLink bill for CCCV! :-D ........... :'-( ................. ;-) And welcome to EB!
  24. Thanks Capn'! *sweet* Right now I'm working on two sculpts ~ Muftak and Max Rebo. Both are similar to the official Watto 'head', i,e, both cover part of the torso, they're not just heads. I'll post some preliminary pics tomorrow. Then I'll make a mold, and hopefully be able to cast them in resin/plastic by Monday, depending on when I get the resin/plastic and how long the mold takes to dry: probably a day, to be on the safe side. ;-)
