  1. That means its professional, right? :-P
  2. Silicon to harden? I used silicon for the mold, which is already dry. I think you mean plastic. ;-)
  3. Yes. 1 hour. :-P I can sand em' in two seconds, that not a big deal... So no takers yet? ;-) I'll probably put one on eBay and see what I get...
  4. Aer you nuts? :-P This isn't an accessory, it's a headpeice. Plus, I need to make back what I put into it. $5-$8 is perfect, since this isn't just clay, it's plastic. I'm sure I can make more than that on eBay. Have you seen what these things go for? 8-
  5. Thanks! Here's the painted version: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=12679
  6. It's not all bumpy. :-P Max Rebo isn't all smooth you know. He's very rough and he's got his share of wrinkles and bumps. It wouldn't look as realistic without some tiny bumps now would he?
  7. I voted a completely new subtheme. Who knows what LEGO would come up with? New pirates, new swords or hats even? :'-)
  8. Hi! You may have seen these over in my custom decal minifigure thread, but here's the final, painted figure. The casts are offically for sale! :-) Un-painted costs $2 USD and painted is $4 USD. Pretty reasonable, I'd say! ;-) The figure torso and legs aren't included. Drop me a PM if you'd like to purchase one. EDIT: Price Change! Un-painted: Comments, questions and suggestions are really appreciated since this is my first! *sweet* Thanks a bunch for you're support! :-)
  9. Thanks, but when I opened mine this morning, the bag wasn't like that, it only had one small hole! 8-|
  10. :-D You've got a point. ;-) It's not a ready made kit! I don't know what you mean by that ~ the plastic comes in 2 parts that I mix and the silicone is another two parts. I have no idea what you mean ~ it can't come any less ready! :-D Those pics may have not been resized, I'm not sure, but edit what you like! ;-) Oh God, there's something in my eye again! ;-) :-P ;-)
  11. Copy-Cat! :-P :-D ;-) Anyway, no problem Hinckley! I'll be sculpting Droopy McCool next! ;-)
  12. Thanks for the tag! *sweet* Is is permenant? X-D
  13. What a coincidence Hinckley! I just made my first peice too (Max Rebo!) Good job! *y* If you want to make a resin cast, what you'll want to do is this: 1. Make a mold box. You can make it on a baseplate. Make a box on the baseplate with carboard and hot glue it together. Next, you need a 'pour spout', which is where you'll pour the plastic/resin. This is hard to explain, you may have to look that up, since I can't put it into words! Sorry! :-$ 2. Once you make said pour spout, SECURELY place it ontot he bottom of the mold box. 3. Next, follow the instructions on the silicone rubber package, mixing each part (A & B) evenly. Pour it into the mold. Once it's done (wait 24 hours at least) you need to take the cardboard sides away, and Wa-La! A rubber cube! 4. Now here's the trciky part, you need to cut zig-zag about half-way down the side, but up to the sculpt. Also hard to put into words, look at this picture I took: 5. Now take the orinigal sculpt out (not salvagable) and there's your mold. 6. When you are ready to cast your first cast, place rubber bands around the mold to keep it together. 7. Follow the instructions on the plastic package and pour equal amounts of part A & B, mix them together, and quickly pour them into the mold. The plastic I use cures VERY QUICKLEY, so do this step fast. 8. Wait 15-20 mins. before taking the elastic bands off and take the cast out. 9. Congrats, you made your first cast! Yeah, my instructions aren't that clear, but I wanted to offer as much advice as possible. You may want to check this out: http://www.minifigcustomizationnetwork.com/howto/3975 (EDIT: Compliments of SW4J :-P ) Plastic: Mold Box: I hope that helps! *sweet*
  14. Frankly, I hate Exo-Force. But this one's just plain cute! *wub* Yes, I think this spider is cute! ;-) Thanks for the reveiw Hincks! What would we do without ya? :-)
  15. Hi folks! Here is one of my entries for Fine Clonier's Holdiay Vig contest. It features a snowman and a small section of a gingerbread house. You can see the SNOT all over the shingles! =) I also added white smoke, just to make it a little bigger, so no, a new pope has NOT been elected! ;-) This also features my custom Gingerbread Man minifigure! Feedback is always appreciated! =)
  16. Good point! :-D Thanks for the review! Great pictures of the set! ;-) I checked a TRU in Southern MA and nothing! :'-(
  17. Thanks ~ that explains a lot! I guess I've been living a lie! :-D ........... :'-(
  18. That's just weird! :'-( Well, if anyone stumbles upon this, buy an extra and sell it to me! I'll pay shipping! :-D ;-)
  19. Is their distribution center still in Enfield, CT? If so, there should be some of these up here on the East Coast! :-D It only makes sense (If they didn't move it to Mexico or the Czech Republic, or somewhere. ;-) ) What I want to see pictures of is the fedora! Since fedora's are the coolest hats ever (I myself 'sport' one, as does my sigfig. But the black Johnny Thuder hat'll have to do for now....)
  20. Why are most of the auctions of eBay for this set from Illinois? Did you guys all go to the same TRU? :-P Seriously. X-D
  21. I know this question is just a joke, right? :-P
  22. Thanks! I'm not sure which category yet... Thanks! http://www.classic-castle.com/events/conte...t5/contest.html
  23. Hinckley, you lucky megablok! ;-) These things are popping up everywhere! 8-
  24. Maybe the person was too lazy to take their own pic? ;-) The person from the Czech Republic's comes with the sash and whip! *wub*
  25. He does a really good job! ;-) I want that Nazi on BL! I'd fork over $5 + shipping to have one a little bit early. Unless of course we know when they're released. X-D I notice many auctions on eBay are from the Southern U.S. (South East). Lucky... |-/
