Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Diorama/Vignette
SirNadroj replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks! A meat pie is a pie with meat. :-P In the movie, Mrs. Lovett, Todd's 'friend' chops up the victims' bodies and makes her famous pies with them. :-X Good thing I don't like them anyway, 'cause I'll never touch em' after that! :-X -
Howdy folks! Let me start out by saying, this is my first MOC in about 2 weeks, which is strange for me because I usually dish these things out faster than meat pies. Also, the pictures were taken with my new camera, so the photo quality has improved greatly, which you'll see. Ok, so I saw Tim Burton's: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street a few days ago. Some parts were implied, like the bodies being cut up into pieces, but it had it's fair share of blood and throat-cutting action. I couldn't help but laugh at some parts, though it is supposed to be horror/musical. I really liked it, so here is a doirama/vignette I made. (Yes, I painted the hair: I think the paint is washable, though.) So, on the top, you can see the barber shop, which is over Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Shop (which I will eventually build), and the basement with the meat grinder. Todd has just killed another victim and has sent him down the chute in the barber's chair he modified to swing backwards, so the bodies can go through the trap door. On the bottom is the basement, and blood-soaked cobble-stone floor. There is a small pile of bodies. Also know that the wall is just supposed to be a 'corss-section' so to speak. It's not broken, or anything like that; I just built it that way to be artistic. Overview: Basement: Blood in-between the cobblestones: Sweeney Todd: The Chair and Trap Door: Victim down the Chute: Gotta go eat some meat pies ;). feedback is appreciated as always! Thanks guys! :)

Custom Plastic Max Rebo Casts For Sale
SirNadroj replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thank you for feedback. Here are some pics with the torsos and legs, and Nem Bees, another countless jedi from the clone wars: -
I know, but according to my research, it is probably one of the best cameras to buy without having to spend TONS of money on an SLR. The thing that matters is that my photography is gonna improve. Stupid camcorder! |-/

Possible way to keep Indys whip uncoiled?
SirNadroj replied to PSPguy's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Try uncoiling it the opposite way, so it looks like the same curly-Q, but backwards. I would leave it like that for 12-24 hrs. May work, may not. -
Possible way to keep Indys whip uncoiled?
SirNadroj replied to PSPguy's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Good luck with that; it looks promising. *y* Personally, I wouldn't try to uncoil it. I'd just use this if I wanted an uncoiled whip: -
Shame on me!? :-D They're only two sets that I'm sure of ~ everything else is a mystery! ;-) I usually never get surprises. Sure, they're fun, but I don't like to be disappointed if I don't get what I want. Just the way I look at it. ;-) Oh, yeah, I'm also getting a Canon g9 12.1 MP Digital Powershot Camera too. Why did I say that? Well BYE BYE blurry, un-focused pictures! That's right! My LEGO photography is gonna increase 2 fold! :-D

A video review is rare. Thanks! It is a great set, huh? X-D The Henry Jones Sr. minifigure is uncannily identical to Sean Connery. :-D

I know I'm gettin' Rogue Shadow and Race for the Stolen Treasure, but I'm sure I'm gonna get many more sets. I'll post the rest when I find out what they are. ;-)

Indiana Jones 7620/7621/7622/7623 in stores at TRU (US)
SirNadroj replied to Odie's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Yup! Saw this in a TRU ad in the paper, so I went right when my local TRY opened before school and bought em' all. Great sets indeed! TRU also had all the new SW sets, and new SB sets too. I'm havin' lots of fun with photoshop and the figs! ;-) EDIT: So the faces on the Race for the Stolen Treasure set are different!? Weird. Also, the skeletons in Temple Escape are the old school skulls, and the sticker on the entrance isn't cobblestone! Why are there slight variations with these sets!? -
Very nice! Much better than the original! *y* I must say that I love that first edited pic of your MOC! *y*

Beautiful work! *wub* Gotta love that chrome! *y* And Welcome to EB! :-)
