Sorry about the double-post. Oddly enoguh, this turned into a discussion of my Max Rebo, not my decaled figs. :-D Anyway, my first order came in from Fine Clonier. Here are my first batch of Water-Slide decaled figs! *y* Muftak & Kabe Midwife Droid (Ep. I just placed a really big order with him. Some twi'lek heads, and lots of hair pieces, including a couple of these mullets. I'ver ead many reviews of his work, and I'm really excited and can't wait for them to arrive! 8-

Thanks piranha! I think the dye you're talking about only tints it, and makes it a transparent coloured version. I think. ;-) But you're right, they do make them, and I am using pigmentable clay. But the paint does cover up some of the imperfections, for example, one prototype had air bubbles, and paint covered it up. But I am using varnish that gives it a protective shine, so I don't think it matters. If I eventually perfect these, the casts for sale wouldn't have air bubbles, because I would have perfected them already. *wacko* ;-)

If we going to get techincal. :-P But that's not all I'm doing, I really am taking adive to heart, and I'm certainly gonig to use it once I refine Maxy. X-D I see where you're coming from. I personally think the stomach makes it look more 'official', you know what I mean? Take Watto, the Ewok, or Gamereon, for example. What do other here think about the front 'stomach'? :-) You don't have to buy it. :-P I just wanted to see if they'd sell or not, because the success of this project, once I refine it, determines whether or not I continue making other peices. To sell, anyway. ;-) I know Red Bean and Arealight's are much better, but it doesn't really make me feel better when we compare. :-$ Again, this is my first, and I'm taking advice to heart. *wub*

Confused!? ;-) I mean buy the blue torsos and short blue legs from bricklink so I can have complete figures and not the custom head. ;-)

If I had to get only 1 set, it'd have to be the Motorcycle Chase. I just called probably 10 Toys R Us' in Illinois and Indiana and they don't have them! :'-( So if anyone comes across one, I'd certainly buy it off you! Seriously! It's make a great stocking-stuffer. ;-)

Well, you can't really tell 'cause it's still transparent. ;-) I mean, it's not perfect, but its certainly not terrible. Maybe once I get the hang of this, I'll make something generic that people want... maybe a weapon or accessory? Any suggestions for my next casting project, AFTER I perfect Max Rebo. I'm not gonna rush. :-P

I sanded the casts I have. The unpainted ones, anyway. So they are certainly smoother now. ;-) Just in case. :-)
