  1. What a lovely scene! *wub* Merry Christmas to everyone! (And a Happy Holdiays, Season's Greetings, etc, to be politically correct. :-P )
  2. Indiana Jones: Temple Escape Race for the Stolen Treasure Motorcycle Chase (and I already bought the Lost Tomb last week), so that completes my first Indy line-up! *wub*
  3. Once the Indy sets are released on a wider scale, everyone'll have Indy as their sig fig, which is why I'm gonna change it. But man oh man, that fedora! *wub*
  4. Hey! I've got a new sigfig! It's me, scared, as Indy! *wub* But I will have a new sig fig after christmas, probably. Or after my computer is fixed (it's on the fritz now), hence my absence. ;-)
  5. Thanks for the feedback. I would have put more fire around Jar Jar, but I was running out of it. ;-)
  6. Thanks for the review! This is certainly bigger than I expected! Can't wait to see your other pics! *y*
  7. I would have said late 80's, early 90's, so I went with 90's. After 2008: :-X ! Literally. Horrible, horrible stuff. It's only now that they're realizing their mistakes.
  8. That's the same brand I use! Really looks great. *y* So if you don't have any local hobby stores Pirhana, check their site out! I would have liked to used decal softening solution, but I couldn't find it... :'-(
  9. Nice for your first appilcation! (After my first order, I placed another! ;-) ) I would suggest finding the closest hobby store near you and purchasing Decal Set Solution, as well as gloss. The decal set sloution will bond the decal more securly and after 2 coats of gloss, the decal will literally look as if it were printed! :-)
  10. Hi! I haven't posted any MOCs in a long while! ;-) Here are a couple of vignettes: Rebo's Escape from the Sail Barge and a Very Star Wars Holdiay! (Excuse the horrible pic quality |-/ ) (Holdiay figures and a UCS MF: The ultimate christmas gift (behind Slave Leia :-D ) Feedback's appreciated! Thanks guys! *sweet*
  11. That's amazing! *wub* Thanks so much for sharing this! *y*
  12. Wow! Very nice! I trust the decals are waterslide? ;-) (And welcome to EB! *sweet* )
  13. My current sigfig doesn't have a story- just part of a vig. Then again, my sigfig changes a lot, so I'll have a good story when I get a new sig fig. I'll have to wait til the Indy line is released for that fedora, though... :'-(
  14. Excellent review! Thanks you lucky *beeep* and your new Rogue Shadow! ;-)
  15. *wub* I think I just died and went to heaven! *wub* Ok, cheesy. ;-) But these look awesome! I can't wait for the fedora and messenger pouch! (I could do without the whip, though. The only other thing I'm not happy with are the stickres I'm seeing, though I'm lovin' the c3po and r2d2 in 7621! :-D Yes, yellow tones would have been better, but I think I can live with the fleshies. I could always use some brasso and make myself a cantina band! X-D
  16. You're technique works, but I'm pretty much a purist X-D , so if I'm gonna use ANY decals, they'd be waterslide decals because the quality is amazing. It only takes 2 coats of gloss, and the waterslide decals look printed and have a printed quality ~ literally! *y* Yes, Kroenen is from Hellboy. This is the Nazi Version from the beginning of the movie when he has a trench coat. I'll probably stick the minifigure in one of my Indy scenes when the sets are realeased! ;-)
  17. Thank you for the feedback everyone ~ I really appreciate it! Let me fill you guys on some things I haven't said, and I haven't said much because I've been real busy lately. Let me start out by saying almost every entry is modular! This excldues the Snow White, the Plague, and the Trolls. The Plauge: I started on the bakery first, but this one was my first finished one. If I had more fire, I would have put more low-lying flames, like Sir Dillion suggested, but I decided to stick with the long, 'cool' looking flames. The two infected people are salavging the shipwreck. The disease spread so quickly because ships carrying the diseases would infect the crew. The crew would die while out at sea, and their ship would eventually wash up on shore. Oblivious to the disease the ship and it's cargo carried, the citizens of crowded towns salvaged the cargo, as you can see. This spread the disease faster. The knight is burning the bodies. That's what I assumed they did. I'm not too sure myself. X-D Snow White's Escape: This was finished in about 1 night, literally. I did re-use the tree from my house, but gave it a long nose, which you kinda can't see. Like I said, I whipped this one up. I like how croooked the dead trees and plants are. It creates a neat little path. I did re-watch this scene from the Disney Movie, so I tried to make it as best as I could. I also put in the little cottage in the background, just to add another perspective to the whole thing. The guy standing in the back is the Hunter the queen set out to kill Snow White. Black Falcon's Journey: I know, this is horrible. But like I said, almost all my entries are modular, and this one just fits the empty space. It's not gonna win, I'm sure, but I figured I'd enter it anyway so I'd have a shot at the Master Builder's Category. The well is really thrown together, too. :-$ Farm (Barn): I like this one, personally. I would have liked to put in some more animals, or at least ONE animal ( :-D ) but this is more of a crop farm, not an animal farm. I bought about 40 of those cattails, which can be seen throughout the village. I did not recycle ANYTHING! Everything can be put together at once. Again, you can see the 1 x 1 tudor slope technique. I would have used the technique that I think Sly Owl provided (correct me if I'm wrong), but I didn't have enough red minifigure stud peices things *wacko* . Castle Celebration: I did put most of my time into the white part. You may have recognized this castle, as I based it on the german Neuswanstien (I don't think I spelt that correctly). ;-) The dk organe gatehouse is thrown together because I didn't have that many dk orange elements. I wasn't sure which category I'd put the castle in, so I put some banners up, and turned it inot the Slayed Dragon Festival (notice the Hungarian Horntail head!) My favorite: The Bakery and Mill: This was going to be my only entry, but I decided to do more. I have a wide variety of cakes, crossiants, muffins, and bread! I also really love how the waterwheel came out! The tudor technique is DARKSpawn's, I think. ;-) So I hope that info clears some things up! *sweet*
  18. LEGOs, what's that? :-D ;-) In all seriousness, yes, they do. But then again, I can't even drive yet! ;-) People would rather not buy them for me (as gifts) though, which doesn't make a whole lotta since to me, because when they see my MOCs, they're astounded most of the time. Do they think the LEGO sets sit on a shelf and collect dust? :-$ Well, yes, but not forever. :-D They're recycled back into MOCs. X-D
  19. It's pretty cool! *y* I haven't seen the movie that this is in (Batman Begins?) but looking at the pics provided, this looks fairly accurate. You also have some nice little details in there, too! *sweet* If you want to improve it, I'd make the front wheels smaller than the back ones. Other than that, great job! *y*
  20. Nice flags! *y* *wub* Unionjack ON! ;-)
  21. Thanks guys! *sweet* I got the palm tree concept from King's Mountain Fortress: I thought they give the MOCs a touch of official LEGO in there! ;-)
  22. Thanks! The beach trooper design is from LSWII. ;-)
  23. Thanks guys! *sweet* & TinyPies: The peices in the crate are belville bottles and containers from the new Hogwarts Set. The canvas flags at the bakery are from the HP Durmstrang Ship.
  24. Hi! Here's my collection of CCCV Entries. I don't have much to say about them... anyway, what you you guys think? Historical Category: The Black Plague: Legend: Snow White (forest scene): Journey: Black Falcon's pilgrimage to the town: Farm: Barn: Celebration: Slayed Dragon Festival: Industry: Bakery and Mill (who's that buying a crossiant? ;-) ) This collection does not include my trolls! X-D What do you guys think? Do I have a shot? :-$ Comments and feedback are appreciated! *sweet* (More pictures can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14831331@N07/
  25. What a nice haul! After seeing all of these on eBay, I called the closest LEGO Store to me (about 45 mins.-1 hr drive) and they said they only got 20 in stock, but they were SOLD OUT!
