It's just about the most advanced design I've seen that is simultaneously so small and so simple. Gorgeous! I especially love that skull... and the fuel tank. And the exhaust pipes. And that engine block! And... :) Does it seat a minifig, or do those hammers inserted sideways intrude too much?

Ah. Thanks a lot, Bachus! The more I look at this, the more I want it. Can't wait for the release!

Great job. Love the architecture.

I'm personally not very fond of the colour choices here, as I don't think yellow mixes very well with tan. The overall design, though, is great, and works very well with your Green Grocer. Good job on that! Overall, your street is very nice. I have to say that I'm intrigued by that tan building on the left, the one with the small tower and Dutch flag. I'd love to see some more of that - have you posted some pictures of it elsewhere?

Just to avoid any misunderstandings: The Red Brick didn't use MLCad to create this - it's designed in LDD. MLCad is an entirely different Lego building program, which is based on the LDraw parts catalog. That's what I use to make my MOCs. You can find the LDraw website here, and a link to installing MLCad can be found on the bottom of this page. Notice that MLCad won't work unless you've first installed LDraw - and the parts catalog - on your computer. MLCad is just a program designed to facilitate the use of LDraw. For further information, try the 'Get Started' menu on the left of any LDraw page. I won't be of much more help, I'm afraid, as it's been so long since I installed the programs on my own computer that I don't remember much of the process anymore. Hope this helps you.

Good idea with the opening back. Looking forward to another floor! FYI, "Model Town House" is Lego's official name for this set.

Fab, just fab. All those incredible details, all those pieces in places I'd never have thought of putting them, used in ways I'd never have thought of using them. That's what makes a good creation fantastic :)

That is one skilled bus driver, to have been able to maneuver his (great-looking) bus through that narrow entrance to the parking lot :) But seriously: This. Is. Epic. I could have started commenting, but I would have gone on until tomorrow. The idea is superb and the whole execution is absolutely flawless. I can't see how you could possibly have done this any better.

I have to agree with Tabris and say my favourite is the Mexican Café. It's a bit hard to make out the details in these pics, but the colour scheme and the design of the building fits its purpose perfectly. Also, I repeat: Have you built any of them?

I design my MOCs with MLCad, but I've never managed to grow comfortable with LDD. I have to say, though, that creations made with LDD do look stunning with those lighting effects. Of course the MOC still needs to be good - and this one is. The details are great, and as others have already pointed out, the colours work really well. I would also love to see this brick-built - but I know how that can hurt a wallet :)

Well, I liked the red one, and I like the yellow one. But the way you show them off really is the icing on the cake here. I love the cacti (never thought I'd use that plural form)!

It's all great - but that windmill is gorgeous. Wonderful colours, wonderful detailing!

This really is a huge project you've got going on. I've followed the progress on your railway MOCs, and I'm getting more and more impressed. The design is very nice, and I love the uniform look on all your creations. Looking forward to seeing these in some kind of layout!

MOC: Streamline LEGO Office #1B – Dragonov Brick Works Improved
L@go replied to Ronan Dragonov's topic in LEGO Town
A really nice and clean design - with a very art deco feel to it. The front with all those clear 1x2 bricks somehow reminds me of the really old, classic Lego sets in mini scale from the late Fifties-early Sixties. Great job! -

If you're talking about the new city harbor sets, there's no need to speculate - quite substantial evidence of those sets coming has been out for almost a month now. Have a look here.- 379 replies

I love your trucks, Selander - I've been plowing through your Brickshelf folder wondering if I should try to copy some of your work. Your designs are delightfully smooth and detailed. That dark red/dark tan version is great, and the Octan tanker with dark red and dark green is just plain gorgeous. Great work.

A lovely, clean design. I especially like the white entrance section. Great work!

That is a cute little toy shop. Sorry to repeat what the others have said, but the Mario mosaic is just the perfect detail to top it off!

Exclusive Train 10219 Maersk Train (Exclusive 2011)
L@go replied to paul_delahaye's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I agree, it's a really good-looking set. A must-have for any collector. The train is quite similar to the BNSF, but with that colour scheme it's still very different, and that truck is great. Really looking forward to getting my hands on this one - if it's indeed released to the general public and not just for Maersk employees. Still, the Maersk ship did make it to S@H so why not this? The picture has already been removed from Brickset, but this is spreading like a rash all over the web, so it probably won't be very hard to find it even if it gets pulled from this thread as well. A quick Google search proves that point.- 379 replies

Ooh, nice, and amazingly compact. I've just created a hot rod-style car myself, but I'm waiting for the bricks to arrive for that and a lot of other stuff, and mine's quite a lot bigger. It's quite impressive to manage to keep it so small and still so detailed. Great work! EDIT: I didn't realize until now that you'd used the 1x3 fence gate for the grill. Very clever!

Simply unbelievable. I know I said that the last one was fantastic, but if you keep up this work I'm going to run out of superlatives. The base/frame is great and suits the house well, and the stonework is of course fabulous, the chimneys in particular. That tree is awesome, and as has already been pointed out, that bay window with the subtle curve... all in all an astonishing piece of work. I'm officially a huge fan.
-
Amazing! It's a bit similar to the BNSF, but wow - the colours, the container cars, and that truck! This is a must-have. It'll be my first Maersk set - hopefully it's not a company exclusive but will be freely available like the re-released ship.
-
Ooh. Can't wait! If you're anywhere close to the quality of this one (and having seen your other work, I have no doubt you will be) it will be another superb treat :)

I don't see that happening given the known 'rules' of modular buildings. The designers have previously stated that one of the main challenges when creating a new building is that they only have access to existing Lego elements - they can use new colours for existing elements, but they can't request new elements or use elements that are no longer in production. Which means, if these rules still apply, there won't be any new animal molds for the (rumoured) pet shop...
