  1. Good point... he's been known to trick with words before! Still, there's probably some more to Mata Nui than we know. Ahh, I can't wait for summer. EDIT: Great point on the gravity! I wonder if the Makuta plan to get control over Mata Nui and... make him walk around? o_o;; -Ikk
  2. Then again, he DID seem to rise in the video... no idea why, though. P'raps he moved after his creation, or the Great Beings sent him down there without knowing his exact whereabouts afterwards? Still, I'm a 1000% sure he's some rocky shell with the Domiverse inside him. Prove me wrong, I dare ya! -Ikk
  3. The Mata head just became my favorite Bionicle piece! -Ikk
  4. More proof! Gotta love these pics! -Ikk
  5. Can't answer it. Those words are more used than "I am your father" -Ikk
  6. He said Makuta wasn't Maxilos, which was true -- he was IN Maxilos. He's a bad writer, not a liar. -Ikk
  7. Well, if the rest of Mata Nui's body is proportionate to what we see, I doubt it covers ALL the Matoran universe... and Karda Nui would be far further down than where any normal heart would be. But still, good points! Now the Bohrok's mission makes sense. EDIT: Actually, you could be right... he COULD cover the entire Domed Universe! -Ikk
  8. He's right! Lookie 'ere! Mata Nui -- the island -- is the head of Mata Nui! And the two sun holes are his eyes! -Ikk
  9. Yup, right here -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgKlF6Vw5ak -Ikk
  10. I'd love to think we was there, too, but alas, Greg has said he's not. -Ikk
  11. Sounds like 2009 will be another Epic Mask Quest. Oh, and that glimpse of Mata Nui is flippin' sweet. -Ikk
  12. The Phantoka look plenty like the Nuva, IMO. I just can't see why they couldn't apply the same level of similarity in the Mistika Toa. -Ikk
  13. Actually, Greg did say that the Mistika prototypes looked much more like the Nuva (a la the Phantoka), but those were ditched by the focus groups. And now look what we've got. Burn the focus groups!!11 -Ikk
  14. This is a happy day. *sweet* -Ikk
  15. Face it, Bionicle has never been creative with names. ... except maybe in 2004... and some in 2006. EDIT: Okay, scrap that. '04-'06 were partially creative in terms of names, as were the BuildIt critters. -Ikk
  16. THIS IS EUROBRICKS Of course we're allowed. *sweet* -Ikk
  17. Sounds... odd. But hey. Anyone know where the heck he went to then, after scrapping Maxilos? -Ikk
  18. We got that with the Inika, and that wasn't half bad, that was hideous. ;-) -Ikk
  19. To you, they're awesome. To me, they make Power Rangers look awesome. In other words, they suck as hard as is possibly comprehensible. I fully believe a chimpanzee broke into LEGO's workshop, designed these freaks, left, after which they were found by the actual set designers, liked, chosen for sale, and now showed at Toy Fair. And we all know BZP will love 'em. X-D -Ikk
  20. :-D Sorry, but they're way too similar for it to be a coincidence. What about the Barraki names? Av-Matoran? Titans and Warriors? That's a lot of coincidences, then... It's probably either a case of A. Someone else basing the names on real life stuff and not telling Greg B. Greg having a poor memory C. Greg *gasp* lying Though I actually doubt the last one. But still, not coincidences. Oh, and what about MISTika? Coincidence, too? :-P -Ikk
  21. I see yellow rahkshi legs *sweet* Tahu too has great pieces! Hello, Shine. :-P -Ikk
  22. Greg also said Antroz and Chirox's names weren't based on anything. How much do you trust this guy? -Ikk
  23. 'nother one. *sweet* Funny thing is, these three promos are virtually the best 2008 sets. :-D -Ikk
  24. He means Tahu looks nothing like his former self. A point most would consider negative. -Ikk
  25. He said the larger-than-titans were complex. Which they are. ;-) Eh, I'll let these ones pass, from the look of it. So far, the only interesting set this year is Tanma... and maybe Photok. -Ikk
