  1. Hey, no nerfing until I actually get to play minstrel! Get in line Danny. I'm getting there first.
  2. While Americans are far superior in every way, we don't feel the need to lord it over you guys. We're awesome at humility! USA Rules! I'm going to close this thread since anything that might be posted here could go in the Ameribricks topic. Remember to keep things friendly.
  3. I would. Snikt! If you'd like to make a MOC with the two of them battling it out, that'd be acceptable. Just starting a thread to ask for random speculation, not so much.
  4. If he'd owned up to it in the beginning, maybe. But I don't think Cronk will look too kindly upon someone who let another being face punishment (and possibly death) for his own crime. I understand, as a player, the tight spot you were put in but Cronk won't.
  5. Huh. Since we don't have any minstrels yet, can non-minstrels learn songs in case they ever become minstrels? Would they be tradeable ("Sure I can teach you this song!")?
  6. Like I have time to read rules. pshaw. Just summarize for me how the class can be exploited without everyone thinking it'll need nerfed later. So... a minstrel would start out with the songs listed in the rule page? And would it be up to the QM's discretion on when a new song is learned and what it does? Or would you be the one to decide that?
  7. If Dr. Cogg wants to post important plot points in spoiler tags, I'm all for it. Lay off of him, please.
  8. I have a few questions about the Minstrel class. Their attacks are considered ranged attacks when not using their Songs, right? Does blindness prevent them hitting with their normal attacks? Does sealing prevent them singing Songs?
  9. There're ostrich farms all over America. Where do all you people think McNuggets come from? Serves 'em right to. Them birds is mean.
  10. Can I just say grrrr... I worked really hard to try to solve that mystery. And you killed the guy? How did that even work, Etzel? Was Haldor chosen randomly from our party? It'll be interesting roleplay for me if it Cronk ever finds out. Haldor might want to find a good place to hide now just in case.
  11. Reviewers Academy Teacher mostleytechnic brings us a great review of 79111 Constitution Train Chase! Head over to here to check it out!
  12. I'm moving this to Licensed. I'll leave a link Train Tech. That should be good.
  13. I don't think this is a proper venue for a story of such seriousness if it were true. I'm going to close this and hope that anyone that wants to discuss it can find another forum to do so.
  14. Oh good. Now I can stop pretending that Europe exists. For America! I take great offense to that. Not because I'm a Czech (because I'm not) but because I have absolutely no sense of humor.
  15. Cronk did not want to return to the hall. The temptation was too great. He'd been sober for a long time but he ached for an ale more now than he had when he'd lived in the gutter. Nor did he feel like company. Cronk loved his friends but sometimes an Orc just had to be alone. Perhaps he should not have gone on the quest. The toll was heavy and Cronk did not know when or if he could recover from it. There was only one thing Cronk could think to do. He walked back to the fresh graves of his friends. He sat on the ground and haltingly began to play the flute. He did not think of his brother, nor of the reason for his brother's death. He did not think of all the sadness of the recent quest. He poured all his attention into playing and thought of nothing for a long time.
  16. Now Guts is going to imbue that in his shoes and no one will ever get revenge on him again!
  17. I'm sure they try really hard. But this isn't the place to discuss the quality of off-site reviews. Stay on target, peeps.
  18. What are you, the fashion police?
  19. Now imagine if I can get hold of the Party Maracas from Quest 50... Let the bashing commence!
  20. Thanks. Just goes to show you what determination and clean living can do. Any Hinckwell rep?
  21. This has crossed the line from discussing a possible release to wish list territory. Please keep that to the Future Superhero Set Ideas thread.
  22. If I'd been in the hall, I would have.
  23. Okay, so who's going to make a Hinckwell quest for me? Pretty please...
  24. Issues with different retailers is not the subject of this thread. If you want to continue this conversation, take it to PM please.
  25. Zepher, this quest was amazing. The plot was superb, the battles challenging and, as always, your characters shone. I can't say enough about how thankful I am to have been a part of this. It was a great conclusion to the Wren Saga. Thank you so much for doing all the hard work of QMing so that we could experience it. This was a stressful quest to be a party leader. There were so many PCs and NPCs to keep track of, many of which seemed to have little angels of death hovering over them. The party split up so many times and it was tough to figure out who to send where. And I constantly worried that I made the wrong decision each time. I'm sorry if we complained too much and that it made things more stressful for you. I assure you, I didn't mean to make you feel bad in the slightest. Especially in the last battle it seemed like the battle kept being determined by luck (or lack thereof) rather than strategy. In the context of the story's plot, that was awesome. It just got a little overwhelming at times. I'm really proud of us as a team that we were able claim victory and the difficulty makes it all the more sweeter. Your battles really forced us to really think and use the strengths of the party. Sure, we were defending a lot of spires, but it didn't seem all that repetitive to me since the unique enemies and mixing up the sub-parties helped keep it fresh. Player Feedback: Pandora and WBD- Thanks for being my back-ups. It made it much easier to let the party split up when I knew I could count on you two to keep your parties cohesive. You were both quite awesome. I love Nyx and Skrall so much and I cherish every opportunity to quest with them. Pandora- I can't say enough nice things about Nyx this quest. The RP was superb, especially her interactions with XX and the way she is with both Cronk and Atramor. WBD- When I found out (by accident) that you'd put in for perma-death, I cringed every time Skrall was KO'd. My greatest fear in the final battle was that he'd fall and then someone else would finish off Wren before we could revive him. Not that I had any choice in letting you take on Wren almost single-handedly. I really don't know how we could have won that battle without Skrall. Masked- You were really great in sharing a lot of your equipment. I think you could have been a little more present during bits of the quest but you were there when needed. A little stoicism is good for a character sometimes. CMP- It's always a pleasure to quest with you. You're an asset to any party you're in and you helped a lot with strategizing. My only advice is not to KO half the party by accident again. Scorpiox- I think your character progressed nicely this quest. And you didn't KO any of us this quest. I love that Arthur is now dead to Haldor. Prof. Flitwick- I think you had some really good moments this quest. I loved the interplay with Atramor. I also like the direction you've taken in being a "Black Knight". Thothwick is still Thothwick no matter what class he is and that's nice. Legonator- Take that pile of gold you earned and invest in some SP. You were great this quest but you need to be able to take a hit. You got us through some tough spots, though. UsernameMDM- I love when Hoke gets to interact with Vipera. There's a nice tenderness there and it really shows us a good side of Hoke. Flipz- Yes, I saved you for last. There were times on this quest that you were a real pain in the butt. There were a lot of us on this quest and I feel that some other characters missed out on RP opportunities because Arthur was being Arthur. There were times, too, that I thought you were really trying to press Cronk's buttons. That being said, you are excellent at optimizing the party for battle. And your analysis whenever the party had to split up really helped. Your strategies, while not the only ways to win battles, are normally pretty sound. One last thing for you and Masked... the relationship between Arthur and Alexis just seems forced to me. Or at least rushed. Take your time with it. It'll seem more real when it's earned.
