Everyday Life in the Galaxy Contest Winners
CorneliusMurdock replied to KimT's topic in Watto's Junkyard
If you think you're surprised... I should post a pic of my meager Lego collection so you can see how unlikely it was that I could build something to compete with those large highly detailed and wonderful entries. A couple of studs wider either direction for mine and I would have run out of some of the things I needed like tiles and 1xX bricks. I think the only advantage I could have had was that it was instantly recognizable as to what it was and how it could be funny. -

Do you mean the NPC's we've met or is that a blanket statement for all of them in the future? Can't wait for the map! Great job on hosting so far. You've only had to get us moving a couple of times before certain people try to pull up floor tiles. Any comments on how we as players are doing? -

Woohoo! This is the first time I've placed in a contest! Thank you to everyone who voted for my entry and to KimT for hosting a great contest. I really didn't think I'd do so well in such a high quality group of entries. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Three-A

My question is, how does this CIA agent know of all these secret passages that he's using? I mean, he's not prepped enough to know that much about the people in town without stealing the files but he knows every secret passage. I think someone is working with him. -
It is indeed a lovely custom, Admiral. Instead of using the lion horse barding you should look for a template for it and make your own to match the knight a little better.

So was this Jack Howard the same guy you saw taking the files, Congressman? -

Actually I was just teasing him like he did you for the soft-serve. Maybe if I was a Ravenclaw I wouldn't have so many typos. I'll Adj for you two after we're done. -

So the man who abducted you was this CIA agent? And he was the guy whose stuff we found? What will be on the cargo ship that the note mentions? You can unload it yourself if its anything sinister. I won't help you destroy the town. -

I agree with all of those saying the musketeer should have come with a cape. It would really have made the figure perfect. However, I think MMCB is going to be making a LOT of musketeer capes next year. I'll be tempted to get some myself if I ever manage to get the minifig. -

I'm pretty sure he's been with us. Otherwise he must be able to talk really really loud. And have really good hearing. -

I would like to have the documents read to us. Don't care who does the actual reading. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Three-A
CorneliusMurdock replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm beginning to think that our mysterious stranger may be involved in whatever X-K2P is. Last resorts are never pretty, though. When my buddy Earl got bit by that spider and died they found out that they infested that entire ship. They tried sending in a bunch of guys with rolled up newspapers but that didn't work. Then they pumped that suck so full of DDT that all the seagulls on the docks coughed for months but that didn't work. They ended up towin' the whole ship out to sea and scuttling it. I got a bad feeling that if we don't succeed with our rolled up newspapers, we all just might be scuttled too. Pardon me, I meant to say ship. Don't know what happened. Maybe just teary eyed about Earl... -

I say that the Chief should maybe check his desk for something with the combination to his own safe. If he cannot remember it, maybe he wrote it down. Is there anything on the officers' desks -

CorneliusMurdock replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well that's reassuring. Has this safe always been here, Chief? I would like to search the desks of Officers Fields and Harrison for any papers or objects that they could be spies. I mean Papers or objects that could be evidence that they are spies. -

I will search the office of the town council. I am looking for any papers or objects that may give us a clue as to the councilman's loyalties. I would also like to know if the papers that the intruder stole came from this room. So that just leaves the farm as a potential source of the tunnel. Hmmm. -

Wizard Duel Round 2 Okay Turkoglu | 5------Vs.-----Ollivander Dippet | 4 High ~ 0 -------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 Low ~ 1 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Expecto Patronum ~ 0 Stupefy ~ 1 ------------------- High ~ 0 Expelliarmus ~ 1 ----------------------- Protego ~ 0 Health: 5 --------------------- Health: 1 The Gryffindor begins round 2 by disarming Okay. Turkoglu follows the flight of his wand through the air and makes a dive for it. He catches it and casts a spell before even getting up. Ollivander falls to the ground but as he gets up he summons his labrador patronus. The furry spell snaps a spell from the Hufflepuff to bits and then dissipates. Okay then manages to stun Ollivander. Dippet tries to produce a shield charm from the ground but Okay disarms him before the spell takes shape. Wow, just unlucky, CF. Send for round 2 when ready. -

I would like to search the blueprints of Dieter's to see if there are any traces of the passage. Are there any other buildings that were built about the time of the prohibition? Congressman, do you have any idea where the passage might lead? -

Yeah, but there are zoning laws and such, right? Some sort of government rigmarole might make the plans be here somewhere. I think you're right Mr. Mayor. I think the entrance must be in the basement, though, because the guy had to get past us when we were all up here on the first floor. -

I would like to search for blueprints for the Simmons Farm and Dieter's. Also I would like to check the blueprints of the hotel for evidence of the secret passage. Don't forget to take those keys, councilman! I wonder what they unlock... -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 poll

Currently I'm the only one whose favorite is the Garden Gnome. It's just a really fun fig and I think it was wonderfully executed. I can't wait to see the face under the beard. Hopefully it won't be a double-beardy. The torso and hat will be so wonderful in Castle mocs for more variety in peasants. I like all of the other series as well but this series just really brought it's A game. Unlike the other series there are none that I would absolutely hate getting. Since the only way I've found any before has been the Lego website, I'm much more at ease with getting random ones. -

It looks like the skateboarder's hat logo could be a lego 2x2 brick flying through the air. If so AWESOME! -
They probably made it thin so it could fit in the legs. Still very cool looking. And hey it's a key chain that actually has a function. They should make a whole line for the different themes.
