  1. (I would like to walk around the patio and try tapping paving stones to see if they may hide something underneath. I would also like the garden described to me if possible.) Ralph, have you seen or heard anything strange going at the Jefferson house in the last few years? whoops meant to italicize what is in parentheses above.
  2. I don't think my questions were actually answered. Do they have neighbors and about how long did it take us to walk to their home? Patrick, it was said that your first wife was arguing with someone about an affair before she died. I hate to be so blunt about this but were you having an affair or did you have any suspicions that your wife was being unfaithful? It would be best to be truthful even if it might be embarrassing.
  3. I'd rather not face the consequences of not voting today. If no one gets any evidence tonight, will everyone want to vote tomorrow? But I suppose if Dougie holds to his promise of unvoting me, I shall unvote him. Since everyone seems so set against voting... Unvote: Dougie "Jesus" Douglas And yes, a lunar vole is like a space mouse. Only fifteen feet tall with teeth the size of snow shovels. They make good eating, though. One can feed a family of moon men for a week.
  4. If no one has any information to share today, I find it unlikely that any will miraculously surface. I do feel that Dougie is acting suspiciously like a lunar vole and that not voting would be a waste. If no one votes we have to rely on those who can move about at night to solve this case. At least with voting, we can look at how people vote. Vote: Dougie "Jesus" Douglas (Hinckley) That being said, if anyone would like to contact me to argue to change my vote, drop a note by my spaceship, or bed if that is more convenient.
  5. I would like to know who the Jeffersons neighbors are and how close their home is to the downtown area.
  6. If I knew there was conversation to be had in the bathroom, I probably wouldn't go in my suit as often. I do take my role as the last bastion of replacement representation seriously and, while I too hope it does not come to that, I will serve well. I find it disheartening that a few of us did not vote for representation. While I do not know who to vote for yet myself, I think I shall take a longer look at those who abstained before our time allotment is over. I wish the moon men were here to help me make this decision. Or the moon women. Boy, do they know how to party...
  7. Obviously, I've spent too much time on the moon for people here to know how wonderful I am. C'mon people, I'm tall too. So not only have I been an influential explorer of the moon but I can reach tall shelves. The moon men did not appoint me special ambassador to Earth for nothing. Vote: Stanley Spussemmin Big Cam (4; Big Cam, Roncanator, Sandy, ADHO15) The King of Delaware (1; JimButcher) Mr. Nowhere (1; Rufus) Jesus (1; iamded) Dudley Eisenhower (1; Mrlegoninja) Ryan Catchers (1; Rick) Washing Bear (1; KingoftheZempk) Stanley Spussemmin (1: CorneliusMurdock)
  8. I would like to formally throw my hat or rather helmet into the ring for Patient Representative. Who better to represent the populace than a galactic explorer and space hero? Being so tall I know I can reach great new heights of awesomeness as a representative of you fine people. Thank you.
  9. I will very carefully descend the ladder while it is being held. After a moment of silence for Mrs. Harding, I think we should press on with our search of the Jefferson house.
  10. Woah, that is just not right. Will is up here, too, right? I agree that we should go to the Jefferson's next. I will check the parapet CAREFULLY to see how wide and tall it is. After I would like to ask the mayor to help hold the ladder as we climb down.
  11. Words cannot describe the awesomeness of this! My inner geek is doing a happy dance. I love the way you did the striping on the doors and the little doo-dads the sides are wonderfully accurate.
  12. Hmmm. What do we have here? Is there a ladder or anything leading down from the trapdoor? If so, I would like to follow it down to see where it can be accessed within the store.
  13. Jameson42 - 2 points Dix - 1 point Etzel - 1 point ACPin - 1 point Great entries, everyone!
  14. I don't think the Jeffersons should be the only ones to search the roof. They may be too close to this. I will also climb the ladder when it is clear and search for any signs of a trap door on the roof.
  15. Sounds like a plan to me!
  16. Will the voting be in this chapter or will it just be before nightfall?
  17. Actually, I have. I've always filled them out and this summer I received an email saying that I had won something. They asked for my address and about a month later I got Anakin's Y-wing in the mail. Not a set I would have picked but free Lego is free Lego. So in short, the survey things are not scams. I just think they don't pick winners very often and so there are not very many winners. I still do the surveys on the off chance they'll pick me again.
  18. I would like to make it to the Jefferson's house before we have to vote if possible. Now that we've determined how difficult it would be to get on the roof, I'm not sure what else we expect to find after all these years. If we have time we can check it out, though.
  19. My family and wife's family do name exchanges so it really depends on who gets your name. This year the only Lego I received was the 7955 Wizard Impulse. And I already had one. I did stop at Walmart during my Christmas journey and got an 7570 Ostrich Race for half off to make up for it a little. Next year I think I'll put only Lego on my wishlist for the exchanges. That'll show 'em.
  20. Thanks, KDM! DS sent. Flashburn needs to work off some of that holiday weight.
  21. If Stevie is not up to it, I think someone else should go over onto the roof besides Mr. Jefferson. Since I don't have any connection to the case, I'll volunteer to investigate.
  22. Yup. All rested up and ready to duel. Now we just need an adjudicator...
  23. Flashburn is back from his Christmas holiday if anyone fancies a duel. I'm also available to Adj. as well.
  24. The new Kingdoms sets are pure greatness! I will definitely pick up a few of the blacksmith sets and at least one mill. And Buckets! Time to make a working well. I already had a mechanism worked out and was contemplating purchasing an old belville bucket for it but now I don't have to! And these are in the perfect colors, too. Kudos, Lego, for awesome civilian sets.
