  1. Wizard Duel Round 1 Okay Turkoglu | 5------Vs.-----Ollivander Dippet | 5 Expelliarmus ~ 0 -------------------- Low ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Expecto Patronum ~ 0 Stupefy ~ 1 ----------------------- Low ~ 0 Low ~ 0 ------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 High ~ 0 ----------------------- Protego ~ 0 Health: 5 --------------------- Health: 4 On a side street in Hogsmeade, an ornate door swings open casting a pinkish light into the dark night. The Gryffindor Dippet peeks his head out of the door to make sure there is no one in the street. Satisfied he steps out and closes the door behind him. As he starts off towards Hogwarts he hears a familiar voice behind him. "Really?" Okay teases him, "You went to Madam Puddifoot's by yourself?" Dippet turns three shades of red and mumbles, "I just really like tea, all right?" Okay laughs good naturedly and pats his friend on the back. "I was looking for you. It's been too long since we dueled. You wanna meet in that classroom on the 2nd floor and see who's best?" Dippet smiles, "You're on!" Later they sneak out of their respective common rooms and meet on the second floor. They bow to one another and begin. Okay opens with a disarming spell that leaves Ollivander scrambling to find his wand. He recovers it and casts the patronus charm and his furry patronus blocks a spell from okay before finding a warm spot and going to sleep. Turkoglu goes with a stunning spell next and Dippet falls to the floor. The Gryffindor retaliates by disarming Okay and then manages to cast a shield charm when the Hufflepuff casts a spell at him after the latter finds his wand. Send for round 2 when ready.
  2. size="4"]Wizard Duel [/size] Round 2 Walter Kovacs | 5------Vs.-----Henrik Saksonn | 1 Low ~ 0 -------------------- Low ~ 0 Low ~ 1 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 Low ~ 0 ----------------------- Low ~ 0 Low ~ 0 ------------------- Protego ~ 0 Crucio ~ 1 ----------------------- High ~ 0 Health: 5 --------------------- Health: 0 The duelists bow to one another and begin round two. Walter and Henrik both try low spells but they collide in mid air and fizzle out in a shower of sparks. The Ravenclaw goes in for another low spell and connects this time sending the Slytherin across the room and ending the duel in his favor. Congrats, Walter, a flawless game. I'm sure you'll do better next time Lord Embo. Welcome again to the Dueling Club! Update your profiles accordingly.
  3. I'll check to make sure the window is locked and that the lamp is just an ordinary lamp. In which direction would the tunnel go and what buildings are that way? I would like to check the desk of the archive collector. It was a good try. Maybe we'll find a copy of the town plans later. Congressman, would you happen to know where the entrance might be. Even a rough idea or old story about it might help.
  4. They're all so great, but I'm still loving the garden gnome. Smurf hat, anyone? And that torso!
  5. Sorry, Walter. I'll try to never do it again. Wizard Duel Round 1 Walter Kovacs | 5------Vs.-----Henrik Saksonn | 5 Low ~ 1 -------------------- Mid ~ 0 High ~ 1 ----------------------- Low ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Protego ~ 0 Crucio ~ 1 ------------------- Mid ~ 0 Mid ~ 1 ----------------------- Silencio ~ 0 Health: 5 --------------------- Health: 1 New Slytherin student, Henrik Saksonn challenges Ravenclaw Walter to a civilized duel. They take their positions on either side of the dueling platform and begin. Walter comes out slinging a couple of spells that knock the newcomer over like a one-two punch. Henrik manages to block Kovacs' next spell but is unable to protect himself from his Cruciatus curse. Saksonn then tries to silence his opponent but Walter is too quick and ends the round with another hit that knocks the Syltherin on his rear. Send for round 2 when ready.
  6. We should look for a plan for the entire town to check for secret tunnels between buildings. Where there are passages, there are probably tunnels.
  7. If we have the blueprints handy, I would like to check them out for secret passages. Do any of you guys who work here know anything of a secret passage? Sounds like our mysterious stranger is supposedly on our side. Could the congressman shed any light on this development? Also does anyone know where these papers the guy was taking came from?
  8. I can adj for you guys as well. P.S. Walter, I hope it wasn't me that did that but it does sound like something I'd do.
  9. Yeah, I'm up for adj. I think the Professor replies to his PMs too. It does make more sense but I always forget to do it.
  10. Wait. The door was locked when we went upstairs, how'd someone slip past us twice to get the rifle and then vamoose? I would like to check the room for any other signs of entry like a broken window
  11. I would like to read the note. I will check the deed for the Simmons farm and the Jefferson's house for signs of forgery and to check if they actually own their land.
  12. Wizard Duel Round 2 Okay Turkoglu | 4------Vs.-----Diana Fabray | 4 Low ~ 1 -------------------- Mid ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Crucio ~ 1 Stupefy ~ 1 ----------------------- Low ~ 0 Expelliarmus ~ 1 ------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 High ~ 1 ----------------------- High ~ 0 Health: 3 --------------------- Health: 0 As the effects of the crucio wear off, Okay casts a low spell at Diana's feet that causes her to topple over again. She mutters a non-spell curse and then casts a cruciatus curse. Turkoglu once again finds himself squirming in pain. Through his tears, he sees his many-colored candy treats laying on the fallen snow. He rises from the ground, determination in his eyes, and screams, "For the jelly beans!" In a flurry of blows he stuns the Slytherin, disarms her and hits her with a spell hat will cause her hair to be all frizzy for days. Fabray passes out in the mud and the Hufflepuff takes some money from her purse and goes back into the Honeyduke's to replace his ruined candy. Wow that natural talent worked so well for you, I can't wait to use it on her next. Update your profiles accordingly.
  13. I thought the armory was on the same floor with the cells, chief. I would like to check the deeds that are in with the documents for any sign of forgery or to see if all the people who say they own land actually do.
  14. So the intruder wants a bunch of information on us? I wonder if they are government looking for the spies. If they think these papers are important we should make sure to look through them again when we have more time. Perhaps we should lock up the papers and then proceed upstairs?
  15. You can send me as many Death Stars as you want, Oky! Wizard Duel Round 1 Okay Turkoglu | 5------Vs.-----Diana Fabray | 6 Expelliarmus ~ 0 -------------------- Low ~ 0 Stupefy ~ 1 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 High ~ 0 ----------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 Low ~ 1 ------------------- Low ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Crucio ~ 1 Health: 4 --------------------- Health: 4 Diana Fabray, angry at losing to a Hufflepuff, tracks down Okay Turkoglu to exact her revenge. She finds him in Hogsmeade, just leaving Honeyduke's Sweet Shop. He smiles happily as he walks up the street munching on Bertie Bot's Jelly Beans. Diana jumps out from behind a corner and Okay jumps back in surprise, dropping the bag of jelly beans. The bag splits open the colorful candy cascades out into the white snow. "You can't wait until I'm not carrying something delicious? Curse you, Slytherin, this ends now." Okay disarms Fabray and follows up with a stunning spell. Diana falls over into a cold mud puddle. Clearing the freezing mud from her eyes, she disarms the Hufflepuff. She tries a low spell but Okay finds his wand and casts a spell that overpowers her and she falls back down into the mud. She curses him with the cruciatus curse without even getting up and screams with delight as Turkoglu squirms in agony on the ground. Send for round 2 when ready.
  16. Just what I needed! Another contest to keep me building. Great idea for a contest and wonderful prizes!
  17. I would like to ask everyone to read through the files to find out what type of information the intruder was trying to get and to see if I can find any references to X-K2P. If everyone searches through them it won't take too long. Yeah, Chief, I think we should put them somewhere safe after we search through them. Don't want to leave them here for our mystery guest to get to again.
  18. Are we allowed to read both threads or only our own? I get that we only post on our own. But should we wait until the end of the chapter to read the other one?
  19. Well, that was worth a try. I would like to search the floor for any more files the intruder may have dropped and if I find any read the contents. I think we should stick with the original plan and work our way up. I do think we should secure these files before we leave this floor, though.
  20. I would like to ask the congressman what he knows of this last contingency plan.
  21. Can't believe I missed this topic before! Star Trek was my gateway drug to Star Wars. I grew up with TNG and that started my love of good Sci-Fi. I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised by the new movie. When I first heard about it, the nerd within almost threw up. It wasn't more than five minutes into it, though, that my inner nerd started doing a little nerdy dance of joy. Favorites Movie: Voyage Home. Absolute classic. Time travel was never done so well. Series: DS9. Being an English major and having to analyze so many plots and stories for class ruined a lot of average TV for me. DS9 is one of the few series that had such depth in it's character and plots that it withstood the analytical side of me. Character: Chief O'Brien. One of the few everymen ever spotlighted in the franchise. Episode: TNG's The Wounded.
  22. Jedi Knight Zerb is ready to take on any challengers!
  23. That's quite a fleet you have there, KDM. Planning any epic space battles? Of course the opposing fleet would have to be at least five time bigger because they would be fighting Jedi. Where can Zerb Stratlind sign up for one? It would need an extra seat for Mr. Snuggly, naturally. btw I voted for Keelyvine Reus' because I think the color scheme just turned out awesome!
  24. Well, then you can come cut one down, drag it back to my house and then stay and water it when I'm not here over the actual holiday.
  25. Didn't realize you challenged me, KDM. Got back from Christmas shopping and the wife made me assemble the tree. I can Adj. for you and Oky if you want.
