Just came back from Walmart. I got a Stormtrooper alarm clock for $9.50! It was in with the clearance toys. Also picked up a Buzz Lightyear watch for my daughter for $7.

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day Four

Would the person who answered the riddle correctly like to share what they learned? -
I'll add mine. Reluctant Spendthrift:"Okay, dear, I will limit the money I spend on Lego. But only because I love you." Buying habits:Carefully budgeted. Taking into account any preliminary pics of sets coming out this year, and having carefully tested the limits of my wife's patience, I have an alloted amount of money to spend and have picked specific sets with a little put aside for "emergencies". I'm sure there are some of you out there who spend more in one trip to the Lego store than I can spend this year. Sorting Method:A bunch of ziplocs bags that reside in portable plastic tubs. Also a cheap plastic toolbox with pullout drawers for the smaller parts. Building Space: After the wife and kid are in bed, the little bit of floor between the couch and TV is all mine. Of course everything has to be picked up and put away before I go to bed or little hands will ruin everything. Philosophy: "Maybe, if I drop enough hints, she'll buy me this set I didn't put in my budget for my birthday..."

Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Seven
CorneliusMurdock replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Stevie, what are you talkin' about? If you're referrin' to the notes that were written for Ted in the Hotel, we know who wrote those. The hotel is owned by Franklin White and he signed the notes himself. There was no mystery about that. It's a completely different set of notes that the mayor was talkin' about. Pay attention, kid. I don't think this Guard guy knows his butt from a hole in the ground. Anyone remember what Bob said about red herrings earlier? -

Do us all a favor. Find someone you think you can trust and explain to them why we'll need you. Choose your confidant wisely, though. You can't be too careful. As for the grammatical errors, I blame the school system. Say what you will about my life in the circus but I received a pretty decent private education. How else could I have gotten to the moon when so many government scientists have failed? -
Wow. you have to be a special kind of stupid not to know that you have to build with Lego. What makes me mad is that this person gave the set 2 stars because of their own stupidity. Never mind the fact that they bought a set with a recommended age of 8-10 for their 3 year old. You know those weird symbols on the box and the web listing? Those are letters and they form words that let you know what's inside the box.

Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Seven

Maybe it would clear the air, Delores, if you could tell us why you came to our fair city or what you were doing before you became the new Mrs. Jefferson. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Seven

You make that sound kinda ominous... We keep comin' back to the death of Laura Jefferson. If our investigations proved anything yesterday it is that it isn't that easy to get up on that roof. I really don't believe she could have gotten up there in 10 minutes as Delores said in the report. Her whole statement smells fishy and I've smelled plenty of fish so I know. I don't know what you were hoping to accomplish by distractin' Will last night. It seems he's one of the few that seems innocent based on our investigatin' of town hall. I searched his desk myself. If you were lookin' to take out a commie, you sure didn't think about it too well. Besides, feminine wiling seems like somethin' a spy would do. Vote: Delores Jefferson/def -

Does anybody know if Dolores "visited" them the night before last? If Will is being truthful about being seduced, he might not be the first. Don't be ashamed to come out with it people. The more we know about this a a group, the more informed our voting will become. She better not try that feminine wiles stuff on me. I'm taken. I think Brenda, the lifeguard, might just be the one for me. Where has she gotten to, by the way? I'd hate for her to be alone during such tense times. Bob, you don't mind if I name her, right? It'll be easier to mention her this way. If you already had a name in mind feel free to let me know and we'll retcon it. -

Maybe he soiled his other suit (or def decided to change it for aesthetic reasons). Thankfully mine are self cleaning. -

Just for the record, I'm not flying "under the radar". The moon is most decidedly above the radar. At least you're sharing your thoughts on this whole mess, though. As far as discussing who Sal should vote for, I think we have something with Havel. If we threw Petey out the airlock for misunderstanding his ability, we might be wasting one of the few people who can actually help us catch these sinisters. I agree with whoever said a sinister would not out himself to save Mr. Nowhere. If he turns out to be lying tonight, however, out the airlock he shall go tomorrow. As for the picture with the arm, I think it is a promising lead but not one that should be pursued above Petey's because these pictures have proven difficult to read. I say we discuss theories about it but voting off anyone based on it should wait till tomorrow. Just my thoughts. -

I'll stand with you again. Although I'm not sure if explaining the plan openly will skew the results. Skew is a funny word. Skew... proxy: Salvatore/Dragonator -

We've all been duped. I guess the question is how far back the deception goes. Am I surrounded by lunar voles or is there just one particularly sly one? I will hold on my vote until I talk with a few people. -

Do you live near him, then? He's admitted that Dolores visited him last night. I'd like to hear Dolores' side of the story but I agree this situation is troubling in so many ways. -

To warn you, I've got Expelliarmus, Stupefy, and Natural Talent. I could not use the first two to be more fair but the third is a passive ability so I don't think I can just turn it off. But if you still want to, it's your funeral. -

Wait, what? What did the two of you talk about all night? Care to elaborate on how good of a friend she is? -
In the course of building my entry, I've been building it in LDD as well to keep track of piece count. Is it okay to put the lxf file in my entry post or should I hold off on that till after the contest? Hopefully, I can finish in a few more days and can start work on my Original Wizard entry.

I would like to ask Gloria a few questions in private if that's okay with her.. Anyone else want to chat? -
Not prizes, anything but that! You're a mean, mean taskmaster. Well, since you're forcing us, I might as well come up with something. My wizard duel character might just have to make a new friend. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with as well. How much backstory is expected for our new character?
