The Forest Mafia: Day Six

I did mean to say Lazlo instead of Pennie before. (Real life does get in the way of checking one's notes, doesn't it?) -

Please stop telling me I'm stupid, Helen. I've been patient with you so far, but don't push me. Besides, my post clearly said I hadn't reached a conclusion, yet. I do have a question for you. How did Benji (Walter) know to target Felix (Shadows) for a kill the night you had Pennie (Eskallon) also block him? You said that you had a plan to catch the arsonist. I assume Pennie was in on it. Wasn't Benji? (See, I'm being nice so you don't have to look up who is who.) -

Well, I will say that offering information to the group to base our decisions on is a lot different from what Helen has been offering lately. Since I do believe she knew of a lot of people with abilities, the simplest explanation for their deaths would be her conversion. I've got to think some more... -

With the number of things we've seen he demon legion do, I doubt they would also be able to investigate. I think it's far more likely someone who knows of the powered-townies has either been converted or talked to someone they shouldn't have. -

Poor Kenda. She will be missed. We must figure out this whole arsonist thing soon, or we won't have much left of our village. I wouldn't get too close to a tree stump that could spontaneously combust. Could "unknown" be code for neutral? -
Let's share our funny interesting photos!

"Dude, we're not that kind of navy..." Slight modification of my White Boba Fett Raffle entry. -
Long before the events of A New Hope, Admiral Ozzel owed Jabba a lot of money. Naturally, Jabba sent his best bounty hunter to collect. Boba figures the best way to get close enough to the admiral is to attempt to blend in with the stormtroopers. He dons white armor and sneaks aboard the Admiral's ship. The space magnet minifig stands in for the white Boba.

I've been trying to learn how to take better pictures of MOCs and contest entries lately. Doing online research and even getting books out of the library have helped me learn more about digital photography in general. Understandably, though, most resources I've encountered have only touched briefly on macro photography and none have really talked about taking good pics of Lego. I guess Digital Photography for Dummies can only get me so far. Since there are so many members here on EB that take excellent pictures, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks for taking great pictures of Lego. It would even better if there was a little tutorial outlining the best ways to do it. (I tried searching for one here but came up empty. If someone has already done one that I missed, they can point me in its direction.) Photography is something that affects every part of this forum since it's the main way we share our creatiions with each other.

The Forest Mafia: Day Five

Woah, didn't see that the first time. Do you think it's a ghost? Surely Felix can't be alive after dying twice... -

I will also Vote Sheldon Sheepdog (Quarryman). Your defense was pitiful at best. Hopefully we'll know more about what's really going on with the demon worshippers once we know what your allegiance is. -

I'd like to read the log, checking for any mentions of communists, Alabatha, or anything unusual. -

No one thought a missing body was information that needed to be told to us? Your men are doin' a great job, Garrison. I'd like to open a few of the crates on the docks and check their contents. -

Felix knew that his being revealed as Demon Legion would cause confusion. His words were crafted to cause even more. What would he have had to gain by telling us the truth? Nothing. So I wouldn't even bother looking for any clues in what he said. I'm much more worried that the scum seem to know which townies have powers and are taking them out swiftly. Let's talk about that while we wait to condemn Sheldon. -

Well, nothing is ever simple, is it? Just when we think we have a few things figured out, we lose more of our own and find out how little we did know. I agree that it now appears that the arsonist is the demon killer and black wand some sort of serial killer. Looks like god decided to mess with our preconceived notions. And now we have a kidnapper to deal with as well? If Booker says Sheldon targeted Benji, then that's what I believe. A paranoid wand owner wouldn't target somebody with their ability as far as I know. -

How're you gonna do that, shoot them all again to make sure? Why are you the police chief? Maybe if he wasn't shot and then pistol whipped, he coulda actually given us info to use. Or was was it your intention to prevent that? I'd like look around the part of the dock where we first spotted the doctor to see what he was doing before we chased him down. I'd also like to use my knowledge of the docks to determine if anything looks out of place. -
I voted for def's first one because I like the superbly displayed OT subject matter and the colors within it seem so much different than the others. I think the different color scheme would "pop" more and distinguish it from the banners used on the main EB pages. Though, I was close to voting for CloneO'Patra's simply because he used the classic yellow skin tone for the minifigs.
