  1. I'd like to claim the bonus points for: Mailing List VERIFIED Facebook Page VERIFIED Picture Challenge Vote VERIFIED Total: 8 Points
  2. Jacob, Myself, Daniel, Petra, Fuchsia, and Amy. That's six.
  3. I agree that Dragana has been almost as suspicious as Irena. It was a tough choice. I went with Irena because of her insistence that we not vote anyone off the first day. She seems content to sit back and let us get picked off at night and still has not brought forth any suggestions or even her own thoughts on who might be scum. She's been given every chance to defend herself, so my vote against her stands right now. Even though Amy is a little snot rag, I'm still not convinced she's scum.
  4. Amy's been quiet in the past and was a bit preachy this morning but she doesn't seem like scum as much to me as Irena. Irena has only spoken up it seems to berate those of us trying to work for the common good and just generally being sarcastic. For now I will Vote: Irena Spalkowa (Shadows). I'm wiling to hear anything you have to say. Help us help you.
  5. I don't think it was all that random, our suspicions were just wrong. As long as we have no solid information and none of the scum slip up the bare odds are that we'll lynch a townie. There are just more townies than scum, otherwise we townies would all have perished already. But neither can we sit idly by and do nothing while they pick us off at night. We have to vote for someone, making an educated guess, in the hopes that we'll catch scum. There's no other way to play this unless we want to give up and wait for death. If you have any suggestions or ideas about who we should be looking at, Irena, it would be helpful. Help us win this thing. I've had time to peruse my notes from yesterday and have not found any hints as to who might be scum. If nothing presents itself soon, I think we should go for someone that doesn't seem to be helping at this point. My gut feeling would be Irena.
  6. I haven't finished analysing yesterday myself (if only I could get the time), but I agree with a lot of your points, my little angel. Irena does ring some alarm bells with her first-day-voting stance. What's going on between Amy and Fuchsia is somewhat fishy as well. And Richelle is still being Richelle...
  7. Darn. I shall have to stop looking for the mysterious person in the electrical tape suit. And it was the best lead we had. Seriously, though, we need to make progress today. Our family is not large enough that we can afford to lose many loyal members. If we are not very careful, we will be overwhelmed fairly quickly. I suggest everyone look back over what was said yesterday in the light of what we know today and share their theories as soon as possible. The more we can discuss the vote the better off we'll be. That said, I will go follow my own advice now.
  8. I made it clear before the vote started that I thought your father Sammy was acting odd. I made a detailed statement at the time detailing why I thought a group of three family members were suspicious to me. It was not out of fear that I voted, it was to be proactive against someone I felt could be scum. Sadly, I was mistaken. But at least I did something, Amy. Maybe if you'd actually shown up for the discussion you could have prevented the tragedy. Just don't act like a know-it-all after the fact.
  9. Or perhaps we are meant to think that my little angel is the killer because her accuser was killed. I don't think most of us took his accusation of her very seriously though.
  10. One day in and we are further from protecting the family than we were before. I can only hope that someone was working for the good last night and will continue to do so until this nightmare ends. In the mean time we should look at who Henry might have riled yesterday as to who may have wanted him out of the way.
  11. I bought Fortaan and the problem I encountered is that the game ends up being a race to the final boss. There's no incentive to slay other monsters or stop for loot. And isn't that what adventuring is all about? To fix this each monster is worth points equal to their strength and every gold is worth one point. The game still ends when the objective for the map is completed but it's the person with the most point who wins not necessarily the one who completes the objective. I haven't decided if the weapons should be worth points yet since they do help during the game... The weapons are the other problem. By the time you can purchase them you're more than likely at the end of the game, so what's the point? So I took away the store and made them treasure chest drops. You get the item on the color rolled and if you roll red, you take a damage. This gives you a reason to actually stop and open a treasure chest. I think these are simple additions that should make competitive games a little more fun. I'm still working on co-op rules. I think the actual character abilities will need to be tweaked for that but we'll see. This is what is so awesome about these games being made of Lego. You can change anything you want and it still looks great. Try doing that with monopoly.
  12. Congrats, Rufus! Does this mean that in a week you'll have full control over EB? And in a month, the world? All I ask is that you have mercy on us peasants when your plan of global domination is complete.
  13. Chocolate? I thought my dear brother ran a chain of fried chicken restaurants... Perhaps I should pay more attention to the family business. I will follow my wonderful husband's lead and get my vote written down before I forget. Something in Sammy's behavior just hasn't seemed right to me. I think he's acted the most suspiciously of anyone today so that's where my vote is going. Vote: Sammy (Sandy) If you are Loyal, I'm sorry but there's not much to go on today.
  14. I've been thinking the same thing but I think I need to clear my head for a while. That should give him time to respond to any of this. And me time to come to a decision.
  15. I've been trying to remember what everyone's said thus far and I'm still conflicted about who to vote for. There's this confusing sequence of events: 1 First we have Fuchsia letting us all know what our ridiculous options are and putting forth the idea that we could all reveal what roles we play in this family. Later she is kind enough to tell us all who's been quiet so we can vote them off. This list includes Richelle. 2 Sammy is quick to disagree with Fuchsia on the revelation issue but makes use of her list to start a vote on Richelle. 3 Then Richelle, trying to appear less quiet and defend herself, goes one further on revelations and says that the investigator should not only reveal themselves but we should all vote on whom they should target. 4 Sammy, who has not withdrawn his vote for Richelle, seems to change his mind on the revelation issue a little and takes Richelle's idea and runs with it. There's something strange going on here but I just can't place my finger on it. There's a power struggle happening and there are those that want those with roles exposed or hamstrung by group thinking. They may have had good intentions but it doesn't take much to see the flaws in revealing roles or voting on investigations. Still Fuchsia, Sammy, and Richelle all seem suspicious to me right now. This is as far as my thinking out loud can go right now. I'll speak up again in a little while.
  16. I think we should all agree that our investigator coming forward today would be suicide for those of us who are Loyal. They don't know anything yet anyway and too many things could go wrong if they are revealed like blocking or framing besides their untimely demise if we either don't have a protector or they aren't paying close enough attention. It does make me wonder if those pressing for the revelation aren't trying to flush them out for the scum to dispose of. Even if those of us with sense realize what a bad idea revealing our investigator on the first day would be, there's always the chance that the investigator themselves might be swayed by those arguments and doom themselves and probably the rest of us. Just something to think about.
  17. Of Fuchsia's list, I'd say Irena and Dragana seem the most suspicious to me. They both seem to be trying not to be silent but saying nothing of substance. Not knowing which to choose, I may be inclined to follow Sammy's lead in this matter. I would like to hear from them both before voting. If they are innocent, they deserve at least that much. I don't think our investigator needs to reveal themselves today for us to discuss who he or she may investigate. I think that unless those with actions come up with something that can help us it is best that the stay hidden and use their best judgment.
  18. I'm not saying you're particularly scummy just a little creepy. At this point I think we're all suspects. Except me but I don't expect everyone to take my word for it, I just don't suspect myself.
  19. Sadly at this stage there are only pointless reasons to accuse anyone. As evil-looking Henry says, the Non-Loyals aren't going to declare themselves for us and without investigations results or any voting patterns yet there's just not a lot to go on but our earlier small talk. I don't think my darling Petra is scummy but since I'm not the kind of mother that follows my child around at all times (You gotta get your hair done sometime, right?) the possibility is there. But I don't see anything particularly condemning in her talking earlier, Henry, so I don't know why you're so focused on her. It's kind of creepy. I don't think I'm going to let you babysit any time soon.
  20. Petra is my little Angel, dear. Do keep up. Irena has Rupert and Amy. Petra may be a little spoiled (her father always does buy her the biggest guns) but she is such a little sweet heart that it's so hard to say no to that pudgy little face.
  21. Gorillas gotta eat. And 99 would eat a lot.
  22. Sorry, nephew, but people with evil goatees shouldn't throw stones... I don't think my little Angel could possibly be scum. She's just the sweetest little thing on the planet. Uh oh, I just drank like five cups of coffee.
  23. Mummy's here, Angel! It'll be all right... I agree with Tammo that it's somewhat early to worry about night actions when none have happened yet. I think we must trust to the judgment of our fellow Loyal family members to decide when the best time for them to come forward with important information. I don't feel that it's a choice we should make for them. And certainly revealing everyone now before they even get a chance to work would only play into the hands of those not Loyal. That being said, I don't know how we're going to find traitorous scum today without one of them slipping up.
  24. Oh my goodness! What should we do? does anyone have any suspicions yet?
  25. Sounds like a fun game but I'd expect that form you, def. I don't want to take a spot away from those who weren't picked for Belville, though, so I should probably sit this out. If there's any way I can help out just let me know. Or if you you really need players...
