Eugene never contacted me privately at any time. I assume his suspicion was entirely based on my questioning his drug habit.

So many great things about this. I especially love the gallery and the bulletin board. I also really like the brick-built doors. Simple but detailed. And I like the barmaid. There's a lot of character there.

If I may make a suggestion. Would it be possible for the Quest board and the rest of the hall to be separate topics? I think it will be easier for those running the games to not have to wade through all the other in character talking to see who signs up. Just a thought. You're running a great game. I think already a lot of us are having a blast and the quests haven't even started yet.

Cronk comes from Goblonia far away. Cronk like nomad, too. Cronk search whole world for evil to bash. Cronk hopes Heroica people find him lots of evil to bash. Make Cronk happy. What make Ranger Docken and Mage Althior happy? Bashing evil, maybe? Cronk hope so. Cronk likes thought of bashing evil with new friends.
-
Cronk not mind if mage sits with Cronk. Cronk always happy to make new friends. That one of Cronk's two favorite things; bashing evil and making friends.
-
Cronk glad ranger think so. Cronk try hard to think things through but thinking always hard for Cronk. Makes Cronk's head have ouchie. Ranger Docken will be Cronk's friend? Come have buttermilk with Cronk. Is good and warm.

I have to agree that Sarah's death is likely not the work of god. I think god would have made her death more strange and random. That said poisoning sounds more like a serial killer or mafia kill rather than a vigilante. If we are to believe Timur's story, and Eugene pressed others for information like he did Timur, that might make explain his death if it was the vigilante that did it. The other thing to think about is if someone had approached me like Eugene allegedly did Timur, I would have brought it up in the discussion that day. This was suspicious behavior.

Cronk decides he wants to sign up for Quest 1 and if that have no room for Cronk, he signs up for Quest 3 also. Second quest seems like too much sneaking and not enough bashing of evil. And Cronk likes bashing evil. Cronk would like to take time to remind all Cronk's fellow adventurers that not all orcs are evil. Otherwise Cronk would have to bash Cronk's self. And that would be silly thing for Cronk to do. Cronk has had to live with prejudice all of Cronk's life. Prejudice is evil and Cronk try hard to bash it wherever Cronk find it. This kind of bashing Cronk does with words. So please do not prejudge Orc by color of skin or sharpness of teeth. Maybe they want to be your friend, like Cronk. Thank you for listening to Cronk. Cronk go drink now. Cronk would like a flagon of buttermilk please. Cronk knows friends don't let friends quest drunk.

If Samuel's vote was hijacked rather than him just being voteless, it would have had to occur during the day. I think it's more likely that if someone were to have the ability to steal votes that it would be decided at night. And since there was no night preceding the missing vote, it makes more sense for it to be a nasty surprise for Samuel. I could be wrong. Can anyone think of a way we can determine if there is a double-voter to counteract a non-voter or who the double voter could be? And Timur, I don't see how Eugene clumsily fishing for information and you not giving him any should make you look suspicious. I know I wouldn't have told him anything either. Even if I hadn't been arguing with him, there's no reason to give another person that sort of info unless you trust them very much. And being the first day, no one can have that kind of trust. Or maybe he had another reason to suspect you. Not that I trust his judgment considering his other choice in suspects.

While I may not have liked Eugene I lament that his death means one less townie. Petr, did Eugene say why he thought Timur would kill him? I understand why he thought I might be suspect (even though he is wrong) but why Timur? I can't recall anything said yesterday that singles him out.

Posted my character. I'd made Cronk up when the game was first announced but when reading the character classes, I almost decided to make a new one that was a cleric. But Cronk was already ready to go. And I'm inherently lazy. Hopefully there won't be so many knights that my services won't be required.

Cronk wish to say hi and ask when Cronk can go bash evil. Hi. When Cronk can go bash evil? Cronk, Level 1 Knight 28 years old Male Orc Power: 4 Health: 10/10 Gold: 10 Inventory: Longsword (WP: 3), Shield (SP: 2) Cronk make good um... what they say, meat shield. Keep puny friends behind Cronk safe. Cronk good guy. You will like Cronk.

So incredible! Can't wait till I have more time to read over the rules and stuff. I have a character all ready to go, I just need to photograph and use the rules to create. Hopefully tonight. I'm very excited about this.

My brother Donil seems to have really thought this through. What he says about trying to participate without contributing has merit and I hope this is the right decision. Vote: Benji (Big Cam) Sorry if we're wrong.
-
Wait. So if you have the most votes when you return, you're going to vote for yourself? Where's the logic in that? If you're town, you should want the town to win and just by being a living town member would be helping to do that. If you're scum, I still don't see what you have to gain. The only thing I can think of is that it might be your win condition but I would think you'd have to wait a few days or not vote for yourself for such a win condition. I'm hoping I just misunderstood you.

Now that I've calmed down, I suppose I should speak up. Sorry to disturb anyone who would rather enjoy the quiet. I don't find Denis' actions suspicious. We don't always agree on everything but he seems a reasonable guy. I don't think his voting has anything to do with protecting Barbera. He seems genuinely concerned about Petr's behavior. And Petr has seemed to want to steer things his own way. That being said Barbera's and Benji's rebuttals have left much to be desired. Sure, they could both be true but I would hope both of them would try harder to contribute when there is so much at stake. I'll have to go think over everything.

Medical Journal Consultant- Given By Hinck for saying that if someone would consult a medical journal they would see that heroin led to scumminess in Baritones 3.

I've given my defense. I'm sorry the medium in which my comments were made do not allow for readers to determine the exact tone of voice in which it was meant. I would continue to debate single points with you, Petra, but I don't want to distract from anything else that might be going on. I'm willing to listen to anyone else's theories. Dazzle me, geniuses.

WW Category 2 : Sunset near Colorado
CorneliusMurdock replied to Fianat's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Constructive criticism is welcome on this forum. Belittling Fianats (wonderful) entry and dissing EVERYONE who entered the POTC contest is not. Play nice, please. Fianat, I love the left side with the bracing exposed. It's a hard thing to make a lego build look run down and you've done a great job with it. -

CorneliusMurdock replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Congrats, Rufus! I can't think of anyone more worthy of the tag. -
Let's look back on everything I've said about Eugene. This is the first thing I say. I am roleplaying to. I am an upright citizen of this town and find illegal actiivty of any kind troubling. And how does "keeping an eye on you" voting for you? This is a couple pages later when people are saying everyone should voice their suspicions. At this point I believe you're the only one who's acted strangely and I've said so. Again not trying to start a vote. I specifically say I don't have evidence to vote for you. I wanted to hear what YOU say about it. And I JOKE with you and play aong with your "problem". That's explicitly stated twice (and inferred other times) if you can count, Eugene. Sorry if by using the word SEVERAL I was exaggerating slightly for dramatic effect. This bolded statement is the last thing I say about him before the idiot VOTES for me. So FOUR posts. Sorry for dragging that out soooo long, people. I am convinced now more than ever that Eugene is an idiot (Let's shout out in town square that we're all drug addicts for no apparent reason. Who cares if there are cops around?) but probably town. What I was trying to do is discuss something that bothered me. I thought that's what we were supposed to do. I'm not the only one who thought he acted weird nor was I the only one talking about it. I was suspicious of Eugene for his "useless role-playing". Should I be suspicious of you for doing the same thing of me, brother?
-
It's not that you were roleplaying. There were plenty of others roleplaying as well. It was what was being roleplayed. If darkness is all there is, there is nothing else to stab in. It's the job of any loyal townie to try to oust the scum. Yes, Eugene's drug proclamation wasn't very condemning. But it was a very odd thing for him to do and I thought it deserved discussion. And it's been discussed. Ta Da. I don't think I dragged it on for a long time or anything. And I certainly didn't distract from anything else because nothing else was going on. Stanislav, what have you been doing to help us out? Just calling people names. Sounds familiar somehow. About the pie thing, that's the past. I wouldn't exaclty have called that roleplaying but whatever. You were scum, we voted you out. Get over it. You're not entitled to an apology for the one right thing we did that game.
-
Please tell me what was more credible that we should have focused on. No one else was voicing suspicions. I threw out your name because you were the only one who did anything odd. I never said I was going to vote for you. In fact I mentioned several times that I wasn't. Now you're being stupid. Both Boris and Petr were commenting on what I said. It's called a conversation. Again I stated that I didn't have any evidence to vote for you. I stated specifically SEVERAL times that I did not think your habit was enough for a vote. Clean out your ears druggie. Sorry to actually attempt to find the scum. What have you done today? Just talk about drugs. You've been a big help. You might as well have been one of the quiet ones. I never prevented anyone from trying to find the scum. NO ONE ELSE offered any suggestions. WHAT was I distracting from? The complete lack of evidence against anyone? I talked about someone's odd behavior. Yes I realize you were roleplaying. But what you were roleplaying seemed odd to me. (Plus you should probably research that a little. I don;t think actual drug addicts are proud of their habit.) Excuse me for trying to contribute to the conversation. If there was ANYTHING else going on I might see how you think I could be distracting. But there wasn't. I honestly believed your behavior required an explanation and then when Petr started calling me stupid for doing so, I defended myself. And I dropped it. I said before that I wasn't voting for you, and I'm not now. Even if it seemed inconsequential, I'm allowed to talk. If you want to lynch me for getting you to clarify a point , you're an idiot. I'm a townie. Trying be a townie the only way I know how by discussing things that come up during the day.
-
I think you're the one perpetuating it now, pal.
-
Because there is such a wealth of other leads that we can't bother even discussing someone acting suspiciously. Sorry if trying to find the scum is boring. I'll be the first to admit that Eugene might not be worth voting for today but openly proclaiming illicit drug use at least deserved an explanation. If that puts me on your suspect list then so be it. For now I'm satisfied that he was overstating his background a little but I still think he needs watching.
