I have a feeling we might just get another city train, the same way we got a bonus cargo train in 2011 after the 2010 wave of trains.

You mean a drop zone? I love those! https://www.google.ca/search?q=drop+zone&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=vV2UU_LZDKeZ8gHGpoGQAg&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=899#q=drop+zone+ride&tbm=isch

I succeeded in building one of the slides I mentioned earlier on LDD, but I don't know how to take a picture of it and put it on eurobricks. If anyone could tell me how, I'd be glad to share it here!

I've always loved these rides when I go to fairs. This would be pretty cool in lego! https://www.google.c...iw=1280&bih=899 EDIT: Thought up more ideas! How about a gravitron? https://www.google.ca/search?q=drop+zone&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=vV2UU_LZDKeZ8gHGpoGQAg&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=899#q=gravitron+ride&tbm=isch

Another way to do the floor would be to have it hinged so it folds up in between the two wall sections, although this might be hard to do because of the wall section that alrready swings in.

Future Train sets discussion/speculation
LegoTrainFanatic replied to peterab's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Ya, and 7938 and 7939 are back on the shelves at my nearby lego store still, and they weren't there last year. I'm assuming they're getting rid of extra stock for Christmas to make way for the 2014 sets. -
Looking for Bridge Addition Suggestions
LegoTrainFanatic replied to jackson233's topic in LEGO Train Tech
On most tall bridges here in North America, at intervals, there are little sections of the bridge that "pop out" the side, or just a walkway along the entire side for a worker to stand on if a train goes by. -

MOC - Coles Express (Shell) Service Station
LegoTrainFanatic replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Unless your planning on extending the sidewalk, I think you should move your rural services store a few studs forwards. the side walks don't look like they line up properly. just a suggestion. :) EDIT: post posted twice in same comment somehow.- 56 replies

Future Train sets discussion/speculation
LegoTrainFanatic replied to peterab's topic in LEGO Train Tech
No, I understand that. What I meant was maybe TLG might release a bonus passenger with the upcoming round of trains to offer kids who already have the 2010 trains and the odd one out 2011 cargo train a chance to have a even number of cargo and passenger trains (3 cargo, 3 passenger). Sorry for the confusion. -
Future Train sets discussion/speculation
LegoTrainFanatic replied to peterab's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Do you think TLG might release a bonus passenger train after the coming batch of trains, like they did with the red cargo train after the 2010 wave. In theory, it would make sense, as it would enable kids to have a choice of 6 trains they might want to get, from Santa for instance, instead of just four (2010,2014) . -
How do the hopper cars not get dislodged when the machine tips over? from the looks of it, it's just hanging on somehow, and I don't see any mechanism that prevents the car from falling over inside the turning area. By the way, good job, when I first saw the video of it in real life, I couldn't believe it was possible, let alone done in lego.
