1. Any feedback? Mainly looking to see opinions about the comic book style of the film in the beginning and end.
2. A mysterious man with an unknown origin has hired Lobo to track down a rare species for his collection. Armed with a gun forged by an ancient alien race, the main man plans to collect his bounty. Will he succeed or will Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Batman of Zur en Arrh stop him in time? Directed, Animated, Written, and Composed by Tristan Kilmer The Marvel vs DC or Justice League vs Avengers prologue was completed in 3 weeks. I've been wanting to do a comic book style animated film for a while and what better way to do that than with the prologue of the DC vs Marvel Crossover! This is the first installment of a new series that will be told over in a large arc. This film was done in a comic book look to set the tone of the story and will be the only film done in this style. Be sure to stay after the credits, never know who might show up. Watch it in HD for the best experience. I'm not entirely satisfied with the overall result but it was needed to help set up the next few brickfilms I have going on. I did enjoy giving it the comic book look though as it has been something I've been wanting to tinker with for a while. Thanks for looking.
3. The Batmech in action can be seen for a few scenes in my latest film. I'll be using the Batmech again in another film eventually that will give a better look at it.
4. It's mesh warp with a little bit of Flash and Photoshop. What parts did you find distracting? The explosions were added as it was all to distract Ronan while Rocket goes to blow up the Death Star or do you mean the faces in general. I do the facial expressions as I feel it adds emotion to the character and also so I can apply the mouth movements to a hand drawn animation project I have going on. All the movies I've made over the past year have been test projects as I have an original film coming out next year that I've been working on for the past few months.
5. A long time ago in a galaxy filled with a bunch of... well you know the rest. The Guardians of the Galaxy find them self in an alternate version of Star Wars in this brand new video! Also be sure to stay till the end of the film to see a sneak peek of the DC/Marvel crossover coming out next month! The reason I wanted to do this video was so that I could further expand my knowledge into 3D animation and also composing dynamic music, I always like to further my knowledge into animation/film. Starring Bret Newton as Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Ronan Jack Renard as Drax the Destroyer Mity Mouse as Groot Scott Wiley as Wuher the Bartender Directed, Animated, and Music Composed by Tristan Kilmer Written by Tristan Kilmer and David Kilmer 3D Models Mos Eisley Catina by Devon Rutkowski Imperial Hangar by Lorenzo Mangogna Available to watch in HD and 3D. Video was completed in 18 days. Who's who in this video: Star Lord is Luke Skywalker Drax is Obi Wan Kenobi Gamora is Princess Leia Rocket Raccoon is Han Solo Groot is Chewbacca Ronan is Darth Vader Subscribe for brand new videos! Like the Facebook page for new updates! facebook.com/FinalFeature Thanks for looking
6. The reason for the lack is two reasons. A: Having complete control of the background and it's lighting allows me to change it more to my liking. And B: I'm experimenting more with 3D modeling. I won't do this for every video as much but I do like to practice and learn more techniques in each video. There wouldn't really have been any time to have had a brief conversation in the video as it's supposed to be fast pacing and I wanted the video to be able to tell a story with no words.
7. Patience, Practice, and just be prepared to dedicate alot of time to develop better animation skills is what I would recommend. Thank you all for the positive comments. The Bat-Mech will be seen in action in a new video in October!
8. A frame from some test footage of the LEGO DC/Marvel Crossover that I've been developing for almost a year. And yes, it does transform into a Batmobile. A small sample of it in action can be viewed during the credits . I'll have new photos/videos up later this year on the facebook page. Thanks for looking!
9. Starling City's hero, Green Arrow, must put himself to the task of overcoming multiple obstacles along the way to reach club Verdant before it's too late. Will our hero succeed or will he fall to the clutches of Count Vertigo, Brother Blood, or Deathstroke? Watch to find out the reasoning behind his epic journey! Directed, Animated, and Written by Tristan Kilmer Completed in 3 weeks. 2nd video to run at 59 fps. I'm also expanding further effort into 3D modeling starting with this video. Thanks
10. Just going to leave this here. If I'm able to pick up a second sdcc gotg set I'm open to trade for either a sdcc black suit superman, nytf iron man, or nytf Captain America.
11. How does Lego sell the exclusives at the booth? Do you have to raffle to buy it? I haven't bought anything at the Lego booth since 2004 so I just want to check to see how it has worked lately. Thanks
12. The Man of Steel fights The Incredible Hulk in this brand new video of test footage from my Lego Justice League / Avengers crossover project. Stay during the credits to see additional footage from the DC / Marvel Project!
13. I can't believe it took me a year to notice that the Spider man boots look great on Superman. Boots for Superheroes by FinalFeature, on Flickr
14. Who is the mysterious Arkham Knight? Will it be a brand new villain or is he a mysterious old partner? Find out who he could possibly be in this brand new short based on the Batman Arkham Knight video game franchise. This is my first time running a video at 59 frames per second trying to achieve a more fluid movement with LEGO animation. Edit: Can a mod help deeplink this? Thanks.
15. Justice League movie. May 5, 2017. Source They're also discussing Shazam, Metal Men, 100 Bullets, and Fables.Time to jump on the hype train.
16. 75 years of the iconic symbol known as Batman shoved into a 2 minute video. Covering what I consider the most significant keypoints of Batman's superhero career spanning his entire life. This was completed in about a week and my main goal with this video was to learn matte paintings, 3D mapping, and Flash superspeed.
17. Aquaman must prove himself useful to Batman but when Mr Freeze decides to cool down Gotham can Aquaman rise to the challenge?
18. Thanks. Unfortunately I don't own every Star Wars ship and couldn't find photos of certain LEGO vehicles to fill in the gaps. I prefer to put as much of a LEGO environment in my videos as possible and besides this video was a test on green screening and a few other things. I use Photoshop and After Effects mostly along with a variety of other plugins. Thanks!
19. This was made in about a week, just testing out some new green screens and mouth animation. It's a LEGOfied version of the Star Wars Blu Ray trailer from awhile back.
20. It's credited like that in the video description, I cut out the full credit in the video to match the frame rate. Trust me, I know who preformed it, I've heard the song more than enough.
21. Thought I'd share this for everyone who loves the Everything is Awesome song. Just a little brickflick music video I made.
22. Autobots vs Decepticons! Obama declares war on Clone Brands! George Clooney head explodes! Bane breaks Batmans back. Aquaman tackles a shark. All of this is just.. Awesome! A LEGO music video of the Everything is Awesome song from The LEGO Movie. Just a quick little test on some new features in preparation of the next Justice League movie.
23. That Manhunter figure is Awesome! Really looking forward to grabbing one.
24. I would have liked to have use some better customs but the movie budget itself was so expensive with the new programs, upgrading the computer core and being able to still have a balance for LEGO. For this movie I wanted to use stories that people were familiar with so that the character development could be smoother. But I do intend to use an original story for the sequel. I felt it was a bit rushed as people kept asking for it to come out sooner but I would like to developed more on transitions, mouth animations, and learn more with special fx. It takes a looong time to animate and post production was hell with me being the only one doing it. Edit: Kinda ironic seeing that there's going to be a Manhunter minfigure coming out in March.
25. Thanks, hope you enjoy it and make sure to stay after the credits.
