Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Night 1
jamtf replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You nicely captured Peppermint_M's creation. That's the way we need it... by the way, has anyone seen or heard anything from Peppermint_M? She seems to be one of those quiet ones that were mentioned. Not that I want to suggest that she is Nizam or so, I just noticed that we haven't seen nor heard from her in a few days... -
Great review! Thanks for that. The truck and the figs look awesome. And all that for the tidy sum of just $19.99! This will be a huge seller for TLG, I can assure you. It basically has everything a kid would want. And I want it too!

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Night 1

Maybe we can organize some sort of neighborhood ostrich patrol that will warn us if the Nizam turn up during the night. If not, I guess we need to hire Lotso's dump truck to clean the mess and take away all the corpses during the next morning. -
Perhaps it also depends on how often parts are used. If you stick something in the hand of a minifig and keep it there, nothing will be visible but repeatedly changing things and taking utensils and weapons out of the minifig's hands and putting them somewhere else will result in minor wear (i.e. plastic being shred off) that is visible from the outside. Mainly, Lego is meant to be a children's toy to play with and not a collectible although us AFOLs see things probably different.

Only if they are big enough and still filled (or should I say stuffed). -
Great! Congratulations. In The Netherlands, a special premiere is held in the Amsterdam Arena (home football stadium of a club I dislike ) where people can see the movie from their car (basically the recreation of a drive-in movie theatre).

It is a known problem. There is a whole topic about inferior parts and color differences, see here Lego Quality Reference. Perhaps it is good to go and read things in there first and to continue the discussion in that topic to avoid multiple threads about the same issue. I am sure that the quality problem is under the attention of our ambassadors and that it will be discussed with TLG from time to time.

*yawn*... just woke up *yawn*... Fortunately, I have enough empty wine bottles and jugs next to my bed to defend myself against those nasty nightcrawling Nizam! -

You are referring to Grand Vizier Shadir the One Eyed? -

A small number is at least two and maybe more. It can be any number. Imagine that the one Nizam is taken out the first night -> game over? I have not seen any Nizam in my vineyard so far and at the moment I do not know who to suspect besides JimButcher of course who has become very quiet since his first post in this thread. -

Personally, I would be very surprised if he manages to survive day 1. Since his first post in which he wanted to stir up the confusion among us, he has been awfully quiet... -

Please accept my apologies Grand Vizier Shadir the One Eyed. Well, I guess I will be off to my vineyard then to pick some berries and to make proper preparations for my much loved Persian table wine. It is the right time for that. Oh, and I have to clean the front porch of my humble shop to sweep some camel droppings. Damn Nizam. They always surprise you at night with these nasty tricks. -

Interesting thought. Add the fact that we do not even know exactly how many Nizam are out there . Shadows mentioned "a small number of people" would get a PM from him. Could be anything between say 2 and 10 with a total of 52 players involved. -

And trade all of our camels for ostriches! That will teach them. As for Jim Butcher, hmm look at the way he is dressed... black clothing and 2 sharp looking blades on his back at the ready, reminds me of Nizam and/or (h)assassins... OK, let's read him his rights: "Jim, you have the right to remain silent. Everything you say can and will be used against you if we think that you are Nizam." -

Meet Shiraz, a wine seller from Persia. His family has a wine selling tradition and Shiraz is no exception. He is importing wines from all over the world to serve the needs of the Persian population. The royal family is one of his most important clients and Shiraz has always managed to provide them with the finest wines money can buy. -

I photographed my avatar just yet and will load it up later today when I am at my parents' house (since my laptop can't do it ). Anyhow, Shiraz (named after a South African wine I just found ) is reporting for his killing duty. -

Anyone noticed the "missing" set number...? 10210 Imperial Flagship 10211 Grand Emporium 10212 ? 10213 Space Shuttle This means that 10212 has not been revealed yet. According to Brickset this number is reserved for a (huge) Episode IV - VI Classic Star Wars set. I am truly wondering what we can expect...

What exactly do you mean by "minifugres" (see listing title)? -

Hmm, strange. Other stores have them while TRU - not exactly a small retailer - doesn't. Coincidentally, TRU M'gladbach is the one I always go to since it is the one closest to the Dutch-German border near Venlo. It's situated on top of a huge REAL hypermarket where they sell Lego too. I always go to REAL first to see if there are any discounts and after that, I go upstairs to see what TRU has to offer. -
If we (the Dutch) order something, we are given the option op paying by credit card or per invoice. Like Switzerland, we have a choice and there is no necessity to choose the credit card option. I usually pay per IBAN bank transfer since bank transfers within the EC are free of charge most of the time and it will enable me to manage and monitor the flow of funds in my checking account. Furthermore, I do not like to use credit card information online (risk of phishing or other ways of information theft) + I won't get surprised at the end of the month when the current amount due is being charged to my bank account (which can cause unpleasant surprises if you forgot about certain transactions).

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion

Thanks in advance. I happen to know a remote store in an area no one will look. If the toy stores in Germany have the sets, this particular shop will definitely still have a good number left. On the other hand, I do not need them all. Everyone likes the zombie and wrestler (he reminds me of Bat Dad in a classic South Park episode, if you have not seen it, it's hilarious), I do not. For me, the nurse, cheerleader, clown, cowboy, native indian, forestman, robot, crash test dummy and caveman are the ones I would like to get. -

Mr. Holodoc, can you confirm that the minifigs are available in German toy stores like TRU already? I plan to take a short trip to Germany this week or next week and would like to know if it makes sense going there for these items. I have not seen them in Holland so far so my guess is that "we" will have to wait until June or so before they will hit the stores over here. -
Same for Europe: - Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker reduced to EUR 187 and cents (was nearly EUR 250) - Home One Calamari Star Cruiser reduced to EUR 97 and cents (was nearly EUR 140) Plus free shipping on all orders over EUR 55 and a free SW sticker sheet is included with each purchase. The Falcon ain't available in Europe any longer. And the magnet sets and key chains are reduced also. Even with the reduction they are still more expensive compared to the US though.

Looking to purchase sets through EB members
jamtf replied to MetroiD's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Can you not order these through Lego Shop@Home? I am not sure if they deliver directly to Bulgaria but since both items are still available and in stock as far as I can tell, I would suggest that ordering through them is another way of acquiring them. Also, if you have not made plans for the holidays (and unless you want to receive the sets fast), visit Germany. It is not too far from Bulgaria I would say, it has a nice countryside and there are enough Lego stores throughout the country that are perfectly capable of delivering the sets you need. No shipping, no PayPal fee and you can hand pick the boxes you want yourself.
