I love your mod, I did the pin remove, but this gear technic is the best.... what is the part number for that joint? did you add the tech bricks? or is that already there? it looks to be a simple mod...

Hello, I got this set when in came out, its probably the worst built set. I mad and took it down... i recently built it again thinking what can i mod. It needs so much help. anybody have pics or ideas? it basically needs to be rebuilt completely. what i have done: took out the 6x6 smooth floor and put in a plate, support for main mount to floor but could be better. it has up and down flex and side to side flex. im trying to support the front to back right now... anybody?

Yeah I might be cheaper to find a great deal On one.... These are aducative I need the theater now. I chose not to get the fire station and the city hall, they don't fit in with the rest.

Cool, I did the mod too when it came out. It's funny the set is made to do that but Lego made it a single.

I have PF lights in every train i own. except 3677.... that would be magic. on the RC trains its great hooks right up and ready to go. :)

truly amazing... the slope in the road is perfect. I still dont understand it. and your buildings are perfect. One of the best I have seen in a long time. I live about 2 hours away from SF, and you captured it perfect. Brilliant.

Looking to do my own LED's in some trains, and possibly in some buildings. was thinking about getting a cheap pf connection and cutting it off, and using it as a hub to plug in with my own connectors a few LED's. anybody does this? I know there was somebody in germany that did it, but was looking for some info, any resistors? what are the connection wires on the PF (ground, positive... etc) 3mm led's? i think? any help would be great. :)

I do not understand the narrow gauge with using the indy track? is not the track really hard to find? why not just use standard track and make a bigger scale engine to make standard narrow gauge? that is what everybody else does in the modeling train world... :)

I agree with the blue line. it will break up the plain white. and thats the best part with legos, try it if it dosent work. change it. or change it back.... :)

i agree with the white windows. you need grey to make a proper UP GP38

I personally could not handle the cheap bricks mixing with my lego bricks. it would be like a bad illness. how are the wheels? thats the only thing i could see, because the used prices are a joke for wheels and couplers!

brickset says I have 766. there should be a prize for who has the most! 1826 is a ton, is that the most so far? i saw 3,000 but 1826 is an exact number.
