  1. Oh, thanks Cutlass Iz! :) Here's my top three: Randal - Nice carving! Etzel - Simple and effective! Skafte - Even more KISS, but not as obvious out of context.
  2. Now I have looked at the photos too, not just the video. Stunning detail work! How did you attach the brick 1 x 1 round at an angle on the side of the turret? I think I can see a black minifig hand under one of them?
  3. But ... but ... but... You can't make Power Miners look good!? Stunning work M_longer! I can totally see that thing driving around deep under ground!
  4. Fantastic work! Nice suspension solution, looks like it work great. I would personally had preferred a motorized cannon elevation but I suppose you wanted to try something new?
  5. Wow! Amazing looks! Great work! Amazed me you did not use the engine-area to fit PF functions but actually put in a motor! It's such a small model for all that stuff!
  6. Steaming hot! Love the little harpoon-thingie! Well done!
  7. Nice! Instant recognition! Will you do it in minifig scale as well? ;) I've seen a few Starbugs but not the main ship.
  8. Will they also replace the LA's from older sets? Suppose I have the same problem on the LA's in 8258 Crane Truck since the error was not known back then. Or is the error a change in the production line so it only affected newer batches of the old version - so to speak?
  9. I can't see the video due to content from Sony Music Entertainment.
  10. Personally I love when the inner functions can be seen from the outside in Technic sets.
  11. This gives me a sinking feeling. I suppose they're on shallow waters or that tank would already be on the bottom. Well done, it's a nice scene and I really like how it's semi-sunk!
  12. Just take of a millimeter per week, she wont notice!
  13. Aaaw cute! But you'd better stay clear of Jebediahs!
  14. Woa! That's amazing! Super neat really! ...and that the futuristic sound proof skin has already been installed! Kids should be seen, but not heard.
  15. See the edit of my post, I did the research myself.
  16. Ha! With the always super-calm voice of HAL 9000: I'm afraid, Skafte.
  17. Wow! Really impressive Sariel! Cool to see the evolution as well! It's obvious training pays off! I've made a couple of "tanks" previously but they were just imagination work (Lynx Mk I and Mk III), you got me inspired to try again and this time aim for realism! Is the Swedish tank really called "S Tank"? The word "stank" in Swedish means "stench"... Edit: It's called "Stridsvagn S" in Swedish and S-Tank in English. Stridsvagn is Tank in English so no strange thing there. Stridsvagn literary means combat-wagon.
  18. Ah man, don't keep us hanging!? What did you decide? Ooooh! I get it! Welcome!
  19. Most themes are apparent toys for kids (who would have known?) but one is sticking out; Model Team. Functions and looks that go a far way to mimic the reality, can't argue with that!
  20. Ah, I misunderstood the meaning of "novelty". My bad! My family rented NES on the local gas station from time-to-time, then we spent the whole summer picking blueberries which we sold to finally afford our own. Before this turns into the I'll shut up! Now back to admiring the cock ostrichfight!
  21. Had not seen that one before, but exactly! :D Here's a Swedish stunt driver (crap video though): There's tons of stuntdriving like that with the skip loaders out there. Anyway, love your minifig version of it! Edit: Seen is spelled with an 'n'.
  22. Works fine for me too, nice job!
  23. Nice! Now off to do some front wheelies!
  24. If you use some of the hard plastic wheels it should probably work fine as a wheeled version, with rubber I suspect the friction will be too high to navigate turns. But the solution for you is probably to throw out that dust collector of a carpet!
  25. Problem here is that Blondie-Wan frowned upon us youngsters that remember NES with nostalgia, he refers to the arcade game that came out in 1982 (NES came out 1985, don't know when Joust was ported to that platform). So yes Blondie-Wan, you are that much older than everyone else!
