  1. I believe Terrence' story more than I believe that Cebastian is town.
  2. Not sure what you're trying to say. As I said earlier, I assume that either Cebastian or Terrence is scum (because I don't think Kristina is and I doubt you are), and as I mentioned, I'd rather believe Terrence's story than that he lied about his question.
  3. Not really. Do you have any questions? Looks like I have to vote for someone else today. I don't think Dex is scum, and I hardly have an idea about Priscilla. I think either Cebastian or Terrence is scum. I'll give Terrence the benefit of the doubt, because he at least came up with the story about the question. We know there was a question to be had, and it's fair to assume Terrence actually took it, but teh question is if he is speaking the truth about what he asked. Still, it would be a rather convoluted lie, so I'll believe him over Cebastian. Unvote: A dead person (Cap'n Rolfe) Vote: Cebastian (Cecilie)
  4. I just pointed out how you completely refused to listen to the person you are voting for. It's scummy. And hey, that's exactly my opinion. I can't decide between Cebastian and Terrence, so I vote for you. Only that I don't accuse people of steering away in the same sentence. Vote: Cap'n Rolfe (Redblade)
  5. Wasn't the main point that she outlined that he had been trying to get the investigator to use their action on Doggy, and had been followed up by Colin and Rolfe? And didn't she insist until the end of the day that Dexter and Colin are both scum? Because Colin's claim doesn't sound like he's making it up, with no other vig coming out. Rolfe is just someone I have a scumread on. If Terrence is not lying, I will assume you are scum. But I'm reluctant to accept a piece of information from Terrence, so I'd rather pick Rolfe than make up my mind about you and Terrence at that point. This doesn't make any sense. Penelope clearly stated what she meant, and it was the opposite of disregarding the evidence Terrence gave us. And what's more important, you yourself are more than willing to ignore the "hard evidence" and vote for Penelope instead of Kristina or me.
  6. I lean on them rather than the others who were implicated by Terrence. The way I see it, it's either Terrence or Cebastian. And Rolfe is a close runner-up, just because he is scummy as hell. I still don't think Dexter is scum, so I won't vote for him. I don't have much time right now, I'll make my mind up later, but I suppose I'll vote for Rolfe or Cebastian. Probably the former.
  7. I wasn't here since the night started, and I took some time to catch up on the 83 posts that had happened. Also, my suspicions were Cebastian, Terrence, Rolfe and Candy. How's that "just about everybody"? I said you might be the SK, but I can't say I believe you to be scum.
  8. Yep, I was around. I also got the answer in correctly. But being drugged and sleepy, I wasn't allowed to solve the riddle. I have to read the whole crystal ball/hardhat story again more thoroughly to get through what you actually said, but I didn't receive any item. Apparently I was wrong about the kills; the day kill seems to be the scum kill, and the night kill the vig/SK. Which Colin has claimed, if I understand it correctly. He claimed vig, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was the SK. His behavior definitely has been odd. So according to Terrence one of me, Bernard, Kristina and Cebastian is scum. I believe Kristina, and Bernard gives me a town read most of the time, so I'd lean on Cebastian. And Terrence of course. I still don't trust him. I'm still suspicious of Rolfe. It's convenient that his two suspicions are me and Kristina, and he avoids the hyper-aggressive head of the family and the person I think to be most likely scum out of the lot. I am inclined to believe Dexter is town, but there's no way of being sure of that. Even though he kept arguing with Patricia, who is now confirmed to be town. I am also suspicious of Candy. Her general fluffiness and lack of elaboration on the topics she talked about make me think she is scum, not ever trying to say too much of substance that could be used against her. I don't have a read on Penelope right now. I used to eb suspicious of her, but now I think she might be town. Her suggestion to focus on the rest that contains more than one scum is a fairly good one. My read on Priscilla is neutral to town, she seems to be genuinely trying to help. Of course, I might be wrong about that, it's a very weak read. My top three: 1. Cebastian 2. Terrence 3. Rolfe
  9. Both were good players, who might have posed a thread later on (Donny more so than Jamie), but both were relatively unlikely to be protected/watched at the time. I'm against all our roles claiming in public. We can't protect all of them.
  10. Vote: Dogukan Akbulut (Dragonator) I don't see why I shouldn't believe that Kristina is telling the truth, and she had some good points about Dogukan before. I was ready to lynch him last night, and I still am. I just brought a cult up as an example of a third party without a kill. We were lacking a kill and some people seemed to assume one kill had failed. My top three is: 1. Dogukan: I don't think I have to elaborate on him. If I understand him right he pretended to be blocked from talking, and his defenses have been confusing and illogical. 2. Rolfe: I have voted for him before, and his behavior hasn't changed. Additionally to everything I said before, he seems to be taking the middle road. Also: Why would I do this? I still am not sure the tuxedo killer is scum. His targets so far have been Jamie and Donny, both would have been excellent SK targets. And the presumed SK has only killed Shane, who makes for an odd SK target, but for a perfect scum target. And why in the world would I deflect suspicion away from the SK by painting him as scum killer? 3. I've been thinking about this spot, and I think I'd give it to Terrence. It's not a strong suspicion (not as strong as Dogukan and Rolfe), but he's been keeping in the middle of the road; never too silent, but never too proactive.
  11. That's...incredibly contrived. And it doesn't make much sense. According to Kristina she told Person A she had been talking to Shane. Where does Shane being a communications expert come in? And wouldn't it be an astounding coincidence if one expert contacts the other, assuming we even have two such roles? As I understood it, Person A might have told Dogukan that Kristina had talked to Shane accusing him and Dogukan used this against Kristina in public. If so, Person A and Dogukan are scum. I guess it's worth looking into. If Dogukan comes up scum, we have a suspect. If Dogukan comes up town, we have a claimed protector cleared.
  12. So you are too tired to post but you do so either way? Either way, whether Shane or Person A is scum, both options seem to indicate Dogukan is as well. I didn't mind lynching him yesterday, so I won't mind tonight. If Shane comes up scum, I suppose it's likely Dogukan also is, and if Shane comes up town, I'd rather lynch him first than someone who claimed protector, so we can test Kristina's theory. I thought Shane was a scum kill, but I wouldn't be sad if he turns out to be a Ferrari. But Jamie seems like an odd kill for the scum. Also, I have to agree with Patricia that it's not wise to decide on an investigation target in here. I think we should trust on the judgement of our investigator here, unless they come in contact with our communications expert. While taylors are extremely rare (and unbalanced), framers are not and watchers are not unheard of either.
  13. I'm here, and able to talk. When I'm not too busy with my day job as accountant. You young kids may be used to being up all night, but I'm not.
  14. Well, that's a lot better. Don't just tell us what you think, tell us why you think so. That's what I mean with not helping a lot. You won't convince anyone otherwise. I definitely don't think Donny and Shane were killed by the same person, since one was killed in the day and one in the night, so I agree with you about that. However, I'd say this kill looks more like a scum kill, because Shane is regarded as well-experienced and hence more likely to be protected/watched, and SKs usually are less keen on killing high-profile targets than on just getting a safe kill. Donny would have made an excellent SK target regarding that, since he didn't attract enough attention to warrant protection. At least that's my opinion.
  15. You know that a good portion of that reason is roleplaying, right? And what about her strange posts early on, when exactly is early? Because her earliest posts were roleplaying as well. I'm all against Penelope, but you're not making a good case He is against lynching Rolfe... It's odd, but I doubt he'd vote for him if he was going to kill him. Especially if he's an SK. Why do you feel it's an SK kill? How does that explain the timing? You'll have to elaborate a bit more, right now, you aren't helping a lot.
  16. If necessary. I think Dogukan could be scum because he hasn't said anything that makes me think he is town (in fact, he said nothing at all, which is pretty bad). However, I will vote for Rolfe over him, because Rolfe is a bigger suspect. But if Dogukan should get enough votes so there's a chance he will get lynched (he would need six votes in 4 hours, which seems unlikely), I will change my vote. If Penelope should get that many votes for whatever reason I would vote for her, because I expressed my suspicion of her earlier. I wonder who killed Shane. That sounds like a scum kill, to be honest. Shane wasn't a person who is likely to attract an SK. Even though hatchets are traditionally SK weapons, I'd guess the real SK (or a vig) killed Donny and Shane was murdered by the scum.
  17. I really hate to split the votes, but I don't think Byron has been scummy. I'm not going to vote for him. For now, I'll vote: Cap'n Rolfe (Captain Redblade). If necessary, I'd change my vote to Penelope or Dogukan, because the further has been acting weird as well, and the latter just hasn't said anything of substance so far. But I don't feel confident voting for Byron.
  18. While Penelope has a certain point that we won't learn a lot by speculating about whether Donny passed on an action he might have had, I find it odd that he won't stop talking about just that topic, and speculates that actions won't get passed on. I sense a slight contradiction here. And then there's the general unhelpfulness of his contributions. If he doesn't think that we should talk about night actions, why does he keep talking about them? Why doesn't he bring up another topic? Reading back on the first day, whenever he said something, it was either roleplay or he was trying to shut down a conversation instead of starting a new one. Another person I find peculiar is Rolfe. Over the course of the night, he's done nothing but going after the Great Byron because of his vote. I don't know why he expects a justification for a Day One vote, his own vote wasn't explained much better, even if he used more words than Byron. As I said, the only vote I find interesting is the Byron's, so I'm fairly glad he voted. Another thing that I noticed about Rolfe was how quickly he backed out of a discussion with Shane. During the Day, he kept going on about how he wasn't in favor of a policy lynch, but he would have prefered one over not lynching. Of course, everyone would prefer to lynch based on some evidence rather than without, the real question was "policy lynch vs. none". So, from that point of view he was arguing in favor of a policy lynch, even though he likes to let us know that he didn't. Overall, I find him unproductive and erratic.
  19. Well, not all third parties have to be SKs, it's possible that there is a cult or a neutral player that doesn't kill. Of course, it's as possible that one kill simply failed for whatever reason. The MO doesn't really indicate anything. I'm reluctant to read too much in it, really. I'm curious about the Donny's line, too, but so far there's nothing we can learn from speculating if he had a night action. And we can assume the scum didn't know, since he can't have told them in private and they can't have role-copped him by now. I wonder what the "Very bad things" Bernard has been talking about are, but I don't want to find out. Oh, and I think I should apologize to Mister Fairbanks for using the word "demand" in place of a more suitable verb.
  20. So "demand" is too strong a word, but "defence" and "reaction" are interchangable? And I spend my whole life in this country and yet the language keeps surprising me. If it wasn't for all the Americans around, we could talk some proper Italian like we used to when I was young. And of course you're not a brute, you're still a businessman of the old school. Unlike those youngsters with their "Where's my paycheck?", "None of these calculations makes any sense", "SMG rounds aren't business expenses" and "No seriously, I want my paycheck!" all the time... So, would you have prefered a policy lynch over the no-lynch that we ended up with or not? Not sure what to think about Donny's death. I don't know if the Ferraris would have the coglioni to kill someone in broad Daylight, and Donny wasn't too active on the first night. He did make a good metagame kill, though, and a good SK kill as well. I guess we'll have to wait for his allegiance and until more kills come in.
  21. Well, it stood out. Terrence was just voting for you because you didn't give any reasons, and Jamie's vote was so weak I don't think I can read much out of it. Rolfe's vote deserves some attention as well, but rather because he got the ball rolling and because he seems to favor a policy lynch. Your vote is the only vote that actually provides information.
  22. Reaction is a much better word, really. I was assuming that when you said you wanted a defence, you really expected her to answer Byron back, which is odd considering Byron's accusation was "she doesn't sit well with me". I'm all for reactions, really. And I never said Byron shouldn't have voted, I just said it was the only vote that I found interesting. And I know people can turn the lynch around on Day One, it happens all the time. I was just surprised to hear you demand a defence at that point.
  23. Hm, I said that someone certainly would come up as suspicious, but it appears I was wrong. There's nobody who was particularly scummy. A few people stood out, especially the vote against penelope, which seemed to come out of nowhere. Dexter seems to agree with that vote, but said he didn't want to vote for someone who couldn't defend themselves. That makes me wonder what kind of defense he expected. Penelope hasn't replied to that vote yet, too, but maybe she wasn't available. In general, it's the most interesting vote I've seen there. I said before I was against a policy vote, so I guess I'll withhold my vote. I'm not happy about it, though.
  24. Yes, that's what I'm talking about. The advantage is that there's more of us. And as I said, I'm against lynching someone just for being quiet. I don't think that will be necessary.
  25. Alright, I can agree with that, policy lynches are a bad idea if that's how you define them. Voting just based on someone being quiet is a bad idea, because it's impossible to make an educated guess about someone's affiliation based on how much they post on day one (many people just talk less because there's generally less to talk about). Lynching just based on low activity comes awfully close to a random lynch, and that yields us nothing. But I don't think that we'll have to choose between a pure policy lynch and no lynch at all, there's always some players acting odd on day one.
