Thank you so much for hosting def; the setting was great and it got me really puzzled at several points, great game everyone! I did say something like that; I think IO said something to the effect that the game was meant to teach us a lesson about meta-gaming and reading too much in past behaviour. I think I even discouraged (or tried to) people to do so ... then again my suspicion of Hinck on day 2 was entorely based on meta ... yeaaaaaaaah about that ... I got a LOT of flak in thread for that!!!! I posted my clues then was called out to do something at work, when I got back, it was too late. I said it in the deadboard already but I never thought you had been the one to solve the puzzle; my money was on Hinck!

Intetesting; if you are not confident in lynching Hinck, then why not vote for me??? I think I missed a beat here; why is Pandora defending me in private? Hinck, what have you been saying in my back?

Hum..... I am willing to believe Scouty and Hink on this one. They have been arguing in public and private all day and now seemed to have reached a valid conclusion, hence: Unvote: Hinckley. Vote: Pandora.

I think we may be used by Def to prove a point; his day one title seemed to encourage meta gaming which would not make any sense giving that from what I know Def is big proponent of not meta gaming and balance. It could VERY well be that he gave roles names that did not match the wiki definition to throw us of. The whole setup here looks to me like it was created to teach a lesson; meta gaming is bad, stop it!!!

A day kill .... how interesting!!! Scouty's claim now would make sense and based on this; I will vote: Hinckley What puzzles me with the day kill is that it seems to be "ordered" at night; as someone pointed out, the caption clearly said that someone put the seeds in last night. This is a situation I personally never encountered. Furthermore it appears the kill happens at random time during the day; maybe the killer gets to choose the timeframe for the kill to happen. Why would Dany have been targeted? I don't see that he had developped animosity towards a particular person or vice-versa. Does anyone have any clue as to why he may have been targeted?

The way I see this is as follows: Either Scouty is scum or Hinck is; hell maybe they're both scum but in different factions!! Should we vote for Scouty today and he turns town then we lynch Hinck tomorrow! Should Scouty turn up scum; Victory! And then we look at his supporters! It's slow progress but at least we're going somewhere!!!

That however would prove difficult seeing that A) everyone is paranoid and only a few people are willing to talk openly B) the scum teams have no investigative abilities. The way I see this is that they have to convert by trial and error. Educate me a little bit here; what would happen if a PR would be converted? Would this person's ability be carried over to the scum team? another one; what if the SK was converted (if at all possible)?

With one vote! One of the quote in Hinck's story has different font size; am I reading too much in this? I guess Hinck copied the PM but whom was the original sender? Scouty right? Could he have modified one of his own PM before sending it to Hinck? I don't think it's encouraged! Someone made a point yesterday that we were all meta-gaming but should not and I can't help to think this game was setup in a way that we would think we should meta-game but that doing so will lead us straight ot our demise.

Admit it; when you read Scouty's PM (or Hincks's quotes from him) you had Maniacal laugh thinking of how a scum was caught!

I looked up the same thing; how does that 100% imply SK? Maniacal laugter is not a valid clue IMO!

No, I had no idea who to vote for and did not want to be penalized; I much rather would have witheld my vote yesterday! And then a 6th townie will be dead and everyone will say "oh well! His behaviour was odd, I really though he was scum" such as was done today!!!

Why not? He voted for me, I voted for him! Then I wanted to clear the air and see why he voted for me and at the same time I explained why I voted for him. Think what you will; my intentions were good! I don't think it's scummy at all. If however you feel it is; then by all means vote for me! Do we not need to elect a new mayor? Seeing what happened last night, I doubt a volunteer will come forward!! Anybody has any thoughts on whom we should nominate? Even if this was my intention, which it was not, it would have proven to be valid this morning seeing that Flare was town!

Why is evening the vote a bad thing? I don't get why it's perceived as bad? What's wrong with me contacting a person I voted for with no susbstance to back my vote? I was very clear in my explanation to TPRU as to why I voted for him; I even made it public!!!

I'm going to go crazy! Granted you did not focus on him as much as he focused on you; I have never seen you not acknowledging him in the past; you either contradict him or humour him. why did you choose to turn a blind eye? Why not answer him? OK, so all the people here will tell me that Hincks behaviour yesterday was normal? It was typical? I made my point; I think you're acting weird! Does this warant a lynch? maybe! I did contact TPRU and made it public during the night: After the day was over, I apologized for my vote and asked if we could be friends. He replied that he was not sure why, besides being vindictive, I voted for him. I then said it was purtely vindictive and explained my take on Hinck's behaviour: Potato? What? So TPRU discussed my PM with you right?

I can't begin to say how much your singing and dancing annoys me!!! My vote for TPRU was purely vindictive; my vote for you was based on how I was usedf to seeing you in Heartlake; thourough and analytical. Yesterday you were a dick and your posts seem to lack the usual analytical content they usually have and to me this was weird. My accusation is based on facts and we both know it. I am not scum; I am alligned with the town.

Shit, another curse! What I meant was that you were pretty intent on disproving DD yesterday .. and now she's dead; you led the lynch (and mayoral vote) on Flare ... and now he's dead ... WAH! Well well well! I find this morning's result quite interesting!!!! My first question is: Whu Murdock? What had he done to warant his kiling? I will go straight at it and say what everyone is thinking: with both DD and Flare being town, this is not looking good for Hincley! And then this: Hinck .... WTF?

Who says next game will not give you some super-awesome ability? Invincibility? Investigative ability? A kill action? A million dollars?

I know, we have seen this in Heartlake and I was in the middle of it all; my wanting to be helpful here was misinterpreted by some; I can onyl re-state was was said, I am a member of the town and I was only trying to be a helpful little townie! I have a list of people I think solved the puzzle and I am very curious to see the conclusion to find out who sloved it and their allegiance.

Frankly when I intially voted for you it was solely based on how I knew you from Heartlake, and let's face it you were acting much differently (dicksish) and to me it was odd. Then I read Shadows point about this game not being all about meta gaming and I started to look for someone else to vote for and re-read the day thread. Then When TPRU voted for me because I tried to be helpful, I thought this was more worthy of my vote which let's face it was irrelevant. I PM'ed TPRU to explain my vote; I felt confident that he would not be lynched and I felt that his asking me why I wanted to be helpful was misdirected; why I got flak (from more than one player) for being helpful still kind of baffles me. As for Day 1; I now realize I actually said pretty much the same thing twice I DON'T LIKE DAY 1! I never know who to vote for or who to trust. As a general rule of thumb I never PM anyone on day one based on the fact I feel I can't trust anyone. Sure some people are more helpful than other, some are more vocal and some lay low early on and prove to be valuable assets in the follwing days but I most often regret my votes after day 1. I thought it would be different this time around seeing we had a night zero but it proved to be of little-help to me. Not one person here can say that they are always 100% confident in their votes on day 1.

Somehow I can't help but think the 2 teams will unite sooner than later; and this would/will royally suck! Hence why day 1 is always a pain in the megablucks; hopefully the night will de fruitful and we will have something more tangible to roll with tomorrow.
