I used the 8878 rechargeable battery inside my truck, It's smaller, so it will fit in directly. I added some bricks to the batterybox so it would stay in the same place.. But you'll still need to remove the floorplated to recharge it. It does give extra room for 1 extra PF-connector, which I used to put on rear-lights.

Parts list on Rebrickable and jurgenstechniccorner.com have heeb correcten to include Metal hook and PF-extention wires. I using LPub to generate the PDF-file at 200 DPI, that the highest quality my PC is able to produce. I don't know anything about graphic aliasing, so any suggestion would be welcome. On the other hand, higher quality will also produce larger files....

No, the winch is not syncronized. But because all functions are motorized independently and are operated with x/y joysticks, you can controll boom lift, boom extention, upperstructure rotation and winch with 2 joysticks. The mini'la's is not a "standard" ldraw-part, because is can shange shape. I had to "assemble" it myself. That's why it didn't make it to the parts-list. I'll fix it.

Just as I did with the 8043 Motorized Excavator, I made a fully remote controlled and improved version of the 42009 Mobile Crane Mk II set. All the essential functions of the crane were motorized, which are: Driving (1x XL-motor) Steering (1x M-motor) Outriggers (1x M-motor) Outrigger-legs (1x M-motor) Lifting/lowering boom (1x L-motor) Extending/retracting boom (1x L-motor) Lifting/lowering hook (1x M-motor) Upperstructure 360+ degree rotation (1x M-motor) Funtions that were improved: Boom extends further. Max boom-length 96 studs Boom retractrs further Better steering-lock Solid metal hook Increased lifting power Faster outriggers More efficient drivetrains Building instructions Full building instructions are available as free download. And there are 2 different parts-lists: 1 for the complete model and 1 that only contains the extra parts needed bedises a standard 42009. Go to the Instructions page on www.jurgenstechniccorner.com to download them All remarks and questions about this MOD and the instructions can be posted here. Enjoy the video:

Yes, it's basically the same as the remote for the Backhoe Loader V2. Actually, it's doing the same, but with less parts and it only uses the joystick-remotes. The Backhoe-remote had a speed-controll remote as well.

Tis is the remote I'm using. With 2 joystick, you're able to controll 4 functions with 2 hands. Instructions for this remote will be included in the final instructions. I hope to be able to publish the instructions next weekend.

You can use 8878's In the truck it will work fine, it'll even allow esea installing of PF-light on the rear. However, on the upperstructure, I'd advize to use the normal AA-b-box, because it's a lot heavier and it functions as counterweight. IMO it could even use some more couterweight. BTW, it needs 2x short PF-extention cable. Lights of course are optional, add those to your liking (and depending on your parts-collection). The main reason I uses lights, is to make it easier to see if the battery-box is on or off.
