  1. I think he means that he built the assembly tower on the 1:1 scale, meaning that it's at the same scale as the minifigures.
  2. And a Voltix minifigure. And a Witch Doctor minifigure.
  3. Wow. Just wow. These are REALLY bad prototypes. Heck, I thought these were simply bad MOCs at first...
  4. Yes: http://www.mania.com/content_pics/000006/76/64/f595456af5b3eacb_large.jpg
  5. I never even knew that there were Brain Attack prelims. .3. Are there any for the very first sets?
  6. It's time for moi to post my own thoughts on these sets: Evo Walker- Even if it's a £8/€10 set, I feel that this is the worst of the sets. Everything is okay up to the legs. Apart from them, this is okay. It won't be one of the first sets that I'll be getting from this wave. Evo XL Machine- Another set that I don't plan on getting right away. I agree that the legs are a mess and that trans-green doesn't really fit into the colour scheme. I do like the shoulder-mounted flick missles and the bulk of the mech, however. Stormer VS Jaw Beast- A must-buy. I love the colour scheme of Jaw Beast and the new parts that he comes with. Also, this is a fairly cheap way to get Stormer if you just want to try and get all of the heroes before getting doubles or triples of them. Furno Jet Machine- Ah, how I've missed Breakout Furno's colour scheme. The mech looks great and I wouldn't mind getting this after I've got all of the villains and the next mech in this list... Rocka Stealth Machine- Rocka's only set this year (thank God) looks pretty good! I like the fact that this mech uses a trans-orange window, rather than a trans-green window. Breez VS Flyer Beast- Another must-buy! Flyer Beast has a very nice design and a great colour scheme to go with it! I really like the fact that this monster uses a radio tower as a weapon in order to fight off Breez. Furno and Evo VS Splitter Beast- This will be the set that I'll get and build first. Seeing as you get two minifigures and (apparently) two monsters in this set, this is a great set in terms of what you're getting for your money! The weapon is a bit weird and I can see where the whole "Splitter" gimmick comes from. Stormer Freeze Machine- Yet another great mech, possibly the best of them all. The weapon is a tad weird to me in terms of how it's designed, but it's not too bad. Overall, I'll be getting at least half of these sets when they come out. They look really good, despite not being the final products that'll be sold in stores before Christmas. (I hope!) :D
  7. I've seen the pictures and I LOVE the minifigures! The mechs are okay, I guess. Evo XL needs some serious work done to it before it's release. The beasts... To me, they're also okay. I like the design for the heads and they're pretty unique in terms of how they're designed. Hopefully, we'll get some clear pictures before they get released. ^w^
  8. I see... So Toys R Us, Argos, Smyths and other stores have a catalog that (under normal circumstances) only they can look at?
  9. I just had a thought... How did someone access the catalogue, anyway? And what exactly IS this catalogue?
  10. Maybe they want to keep possible spoilers to a minimum. :P
  11. The pictures won't show up until mid-November, due to Lego's strict policy on keeping their products confidential. Notice how they're getting more and more protective of their pre-release pictures for Hero Factory?
  12. You may be onto something, DJ Pon3... The question is, did he make these creatures directly? Or did he use enhanced Brain Bugs to do the job?
  13. I wonder what the storyline of this year will be? We've already established the fact that it's going to be a case of Heroes Vs. Giant Villains... But how did the villains end up giant in the first place? And how will the Brain Bugs be involved?
  14. It has to be a villain... Maybe a super huge version of the Dark Maker? :P
  15. If only they'd release the 2.0 and 3.0 2-in-1 sets again... I'd love to have those sets in my possession.
  16. And yet Evo XL Machine's $25. That would mean that you can still get it in stores. If a set was the price of the Lego Death Star, THEN it would have to be delivered. :P
  17. So, China seems to be getting a lot of these two-in-one sets, mostly consisting of two sets that combine together... http://www.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=HERO%20Factory&subtheme=Product%20Collection ...Do you guys think these sets should be released in the UK and in the US? And if so, why? I personally think that these would work as "Starter Sets" for those who want to get a hero and a villain in one set, without having to buy them seperately. ^w^ Also, these would eliminate the need to search for one hero/villain that is supposed to fight the hero/villain that they've already got, as they're both in the same package!
  18. I've just noticed... We are putting a lot of thought into what the heroes and mechs will be like... We need to give the villains some love too! For instance, I'd like to know (roughly) how big each villain is. I'm assuming that Jaw Beast is a small villain (like Scarox), Flyer Beast is a regular villain (like Frost Beast or Core Hunter) and Splitter Beast is a titan-sized villain (like Dragon Bolt or Black Phantom).
  19. I'm just sayiing that if you don't like the Jet Rocka set, you should try that as an alternative. Heck, you could even use the jetpack as part of a full-size mech.
  20. They'll probably be modified. :P
  21. Look on the bright side, you guys! If you like Bioformers, you could make this into the Maxer Drone (by DrScorpionX). Or better yet... Combine Maxer Drone, Strider Drone (Evo/Aquagon), Thunder Blast (Surge/Dragon Bolt) and Cryo Drone (Stormer/Frost Beast) to make the Dynamo Combiner! :D
  22. I didn't confirm that... I just assumed that would be the case.
  23. I have a feeling that these minifigures will just be system minifigures down to the legs, where they'll either be a new mold or extra detailed. Also, the head should be made up of at least three parts: The main head, the "helmet" and the visor, which should clip onto the helmet. Seeing as this technically IS a continuation of the Brain Attack storyline, I wouldn't be surprised if all the heroes were just shrunken down versions of their BA selves. :P
  24. Sadly, I can't upload pictures of my MOCs. :( The files are too big!
  25. I'm from Manchester, in the UK.
