I don't mind flesh either. For themes like batman, starwars, etc, I like the flesh. In themes like my trains and the townsets, those have to be yellow ;) . Bionicle? Never understood the whole theme at all. Those new technicbeams.......I WANT THOSE OLD BACK ...... Also very annoying, are those big buildingpieces .......

Maybe a bit late for my reation. I just wanted to say, what a wunderfull idea. Very orginal, but only bad you you've to modify the minifigs. Anyway, sometimes you've to break the rules to make something beautiful like this. Love to see more of this. Indi and batman ........

I like the design a lot. Much details. Is it possible to enlarge the building a little? It looks so small, but very sweet.

Why be jealous about my streetplates, most of them are little or heavly yellowed? One a few good ones . If someone wants them, they can be sold . I've chosen to put the cafe corner this way, cause I want all 3 big buildings beside eachother. It takes a lot of room and if put those in the middle of layout, they would dominate too much. I've chosen to put everything on the floor, cause my roof is like this: /\ and not like this | |. If i use tables, it costs space. Which means less lego to show off ....... With the damage: I've to look carefully where I walk at and some space's are chosen to be empty. You need to be atletic to move around my layout yes..... With the dirt: everything is at my attic (less dirt then in livingroom) and I'm gonna look for a small smart wireless vacuumcleaner in near future. Thx for the reactions .

Time for a new update. I've ordered set 10185 ...... Otherwise I still think something is missing here : Cause, space is rare at my attic........I've combined sets 6371, 1254 & 1255. What you think about this transformation? It isn't still finished yet. I miss some 1x1 darkbluishgrey tiles.

I was confused with 12v motors, those are glued. The 9v motors are clicked together. Just use a knife to break the clips, they you should be able to open it. When you remove a little coin somewhere, the motor should run smoothly again. I've once done that for another person, who had exactly the same problem. To glue it together, I suggest to use paperglue. In case you have to open it again.

Just wait, when the first pic's arrive. And then wait for some more, while the sets are at sale for half the price :P .

Only to get a trainmotor open, is difficult. You've to break it open with force on the right places. And when the elec motor itself is broken, you've to replace it. Only where to get those....... I think it's beter to buy a new one.

It's nice to lighten up your ship, but didn't you use orginal lego parts? Like this one:

Looks very good. Everything runs smooth and storyline is good too.

Here some pic's of my pirate sets from 1989 (at least I hope so these are the sets). Some little things still missing, like a minifig and a few bricks. When my layout is sorted out, then I finish it to make it 100% complete. Font view (and don't focus on building crane please ) Oder angle for the diehards: One form above, which gives a nice view.

Well an u-shape is a really nice idea, but I have loads of buildings te be placed. Pic's say more than 1000 words: Left view: Right view: I know, it's a bit messy around. In time it will be more sorted ;) .

Those crosses I used, to look how many 32x32 basplates would fit in these layout. Roads, buildings & trainstations need to get a place in time. I'm busy to build everything up and will keep placing pic's if you people want.

It was a production error. You bought these wagons new? You can adjust the wheels to cut a little piece out of the wheelholder, problem solved. Or you can buy newer wheels, problem also solved.

I've already started to build up my layout: While building, the first desgin had to be adjusted. I made a re-design, which made a more room for baseplates. In the is way, trains are less dominated in the layout. What's your opnion of it?

Dutch were famous of their woodenship building ;) . I'm very impressed about your ship already. I'm curious what end result will be.

Today, a windowroof is placed in my attic. Finally some daylight there, out of my dark ages finally . When you click at pic's, you can follow the buildingproces. Some final things and there can be build there ....... And the dark ages were like this:

When not looking to the costs.....it's very big.

It depens if I don't have that set or not. If I do, I save it MISB. Not that I like keep MISB, but those are great value when the years passes by.

I find it more interesting in the building technic. You used new technic beams in your mocs. Very well done .
