No doubt the super chief. Looks very good, exspecially with all 5 wagons behind it. Only too bad it gets too heavy to pull them all (even with 2 9v motors). The BNSF has some bad memories for me, but I like the unique colors. The Swiss train is nice, cause it's length.

Well, I'm well aware that a lot of people want this set. But are those people willing to pay gold for this?????? I was lucky, but no.......I don't want to pay gold for it to have it. When building a layout, it's hard to fit this monorail in. I'm still puzzling/thinking/looking how the .... I have to place this monorail in. When it's running, well it's great to look at it .........

I'm a proud owner of this set: I needed to make the rails higher, otherwise my trains wouldn't fit underneath it. I looked at brickshelf and this is the result of the tracks: Only I had to modify the stations also. The station for the city I will explain and show pic's later. But I wanted to show you the result for the station airport. Only a little problem ....I have no room anymore for an airport. I used the design of lego itself.

I don't like the set and I do like the set. The reason why I like it: it looks good. The reason why I hate it: this train was the first train for the new 9v system and it means to me the end of the beautiful 12v series. For this last reason I own this set. I voted average. Only strange they named it metroliner. In Holland when we speak of a metro, I need to think at short distance trains only used in big cities like Rotterdam. And your minifigs at pic ain't right according the instruction .

Thx, it works in corners. Only the train moves too fast. I'm more interested how you made it realize to take the corners.

I love this set: Only nowadays too expensive and the design can be better. A big ship like this should more then 4 containers. I saw a modified 4030 at a friend. I prefer to use a blue boat hull, but I could get an 4031 cheap at ebay. I decided to build a container ship which could hold more then 4 containers. I modified this set, so it can hold 12 containers. Or 4 small and 4 long containers. I could even put more on then, but then the captain can't see his whole ship anymore. What's the point of collect lego at all? You have lego also. Some persons like to have a droid army (something has to protect my town and others a clonetrooper army. It's just fun and show off, just what you do with lego ;) .

I need aceton to remove it, but then it will desolve the plastic also. I tried almost anything, wasbenzin, terpetin, alcohol, etc. I will make some more pic's of mine cargo ship and make a separate topic for it. To mine opnion, I like set 7046 more as fireboat then 4031. That set is more playable. But the advantage of set 4031, it floats on water and 7046 won't .

The model looks good, but with 6000 pieces it will costs around 600 euro. Too expensive, besides I have no room to place it and the quality bricks is not that good as 10 years ago. With this in mind, I will not buy it. I keep it with 12v trains, starwars and Harry Potter.

Those new mudguard can only used when you build wider cars dan 4nops. I also hate those pieces, cause I want my cars 4nops wide. When using these pieces, the car is then 5nops wide ....... But as chair.....great idea!

LEGO, your arguments are just rubbish/megablocks (sorry for my words). You keep the EU-prices too high for your own purse. And besides of the high prices, the quality is just the same rubbish/megablocks then I used too in the '80's. The quality and themes of playmobil is 100times better. Only bad I've already an attic filled with 12v trains of lego (also many thx to USA why these 12v is gone ).......... If I had to choose when I have nothing, I choose playmobil. Or better reallife trains!
