This line will have a strong comeback, but will get shorter and shorter as the year passed. Im basing this on ppl who grew up with the first series. They will be a majority of the sales for this line, but like every other remake, the old fanbase will start attacking it for not being exactly like the old. We're already reading some weird standards for this line (ppl want technic functions like 2001 ). Right now, everyone who grew up playing with bionicle is 16-28. We know there not making this line for us, we cant even assume the fanbase is interested in buying the line cause CCBS design. A TV show would help promote the line the same way Chima did. But now im starting to wonder how big is the constraction fanbase for Lego compare to there minifig fanbase. I always feel like we're pretty small, also doubt we can break that sale record I give it 3-5 years before we replace it with something else. Im also hoping they continue the Hero Factory line and make another Chima Line too. But you guys are reading a CCBS design fan

I been looking at toa pics and somethings I what to point out: Tahu: Since we all could see the lavaboard, i been scratching my head about the gold swords being placeholders for lavaboard. Gali: looking only at the tool, I realize its just one pickaxe. theres also a piece at the bottom. Ouna: His hammer is two 64712 pieces. Hopefully they keep the sliver. Lewa: him and kopaka have neck armor a la 2012 bulk. But i cant make heads or tails of his black axe piece. This has to be a placeholder for something else. It reminds me of 32190 piece which is awkward choice for an axe Kopaka: i wonder what the top piece of the pole going to be? also not sure how hes holding the shield. Pohatu: only thing i could add is vague look of back piece but thats not much. Because of CCBS there is large variety of combinations styles to take up. new versions of Akamai, Wairuha or match one large toa set to a smaller toa set. @Aanchir, you just made me realize that later bionicle toa sets tower over most of the HF sets. @Tremah, thats would great if TLG used the defenders that way. It be like nuva sets

Thats great Moc, do you have any ideas bout the Defenders bodies? Also, I'm getting the defenders first, I know the wookie dropship seems to use the same gun as the defenders but I dont see it. Can anyone point it out to me

Guess I'm the last one to know, lol. Thank anyone for releasing the High-Res pic. You could tell they are using Chima's 2014 gold armor on a few of the Toa sets. Can anyone tell me if Gali has one or two pick-axes? And since we have variety of gold pieces through out the Sets, you could probably make Takanuva pretty easy Anyone think they make Katia again, it sure would be alot easier with CCBS Last thing: the stone defender has hind legs, wonder if thats throughout the defender line

Man, I didn't think this topic would be so separating among the fan base. For the ppl who don't want genders of their fav characters to change: BIONICLE had it the way you like for 10 years. Are you telling me if TLG decide to make a reboot for 2015 that it would be a bad thing?? I been reading all the responds/back and forth, I'm assuming I don't understand this side of hurt/angry/dissappoint y'all would be if more characters were gender swap or brand new. Also I think its a bit of a sretch that toys describe as female character would be brought less by boys. But I don't really study what gender of toys boys want to buy. Since we are all fans of the same theme, I'm suprise some of you don't welcome the idea. I would like this generation to have boys and girls be either element. I'm fine with any of the existing characters being switch (because the previous story of Bionicle is done with). To me this is alternate universe, and the fact elements being broken down to gender only or old characters not being swap for the sake of.....what? Canon?

Not to be a downer, but i would shoot down the waist articulation too. Most of the humanoid sets are top heavy. It reminds me of the complain that all the toa look too uniform and thought it work great that way (easier to make your own version). TheOneVeyronian, i like the concept hand you drew. I was thinking put an cross axle hole through the palm of hand but im not sure how you add fingers.

For the hand piece: I just thought it was "artistic license" on the current hand mold. But chima did open that door, one of the Eurobrick members made a topic about the chima hand holding its tools more accurately. It was really clever design. TLG could make something similar but wouldn't it add more unnecessary pieces??

Since we're all speculating: I notice most of us care about story, but we all know its "good vs. bad" again. I would like it if TLG adds another element/color to the mix. I'm hoping purple or The Green can be a set. What am I kidding, I just don't want the main character to be red or white. don't we have enough of those sets?

Hey guys, while looking at the pic, I can make out some of the designs: Top row, to the right: The small set looks like its carrying Furno 2011 draggers wit Zamor launcher on its back like matoran in 2007 Second row, to the left: I can make out a Zamor launcher wit the new flame pieces you see in chima. The crossbow looks exactly like Maula's combiner secondary weapon. Bottom Row: This set is also holding chima flame pieces but in the same way kopaka nuva 2002 hold his ice skates, I cant make out the other tool tho

Yup , Bob C. Im also one of the ppl who like how Bionicle end. IF this theme goes through, then either a continuation or reboot is fine with me. CCBS is a much easier design system to make/play with. They still have to make three to four new molds tho

Oh man, yall ratings on the models are slaying me. Im surprise most of your guys cant say alot good things about sets. Im happy Chima got another shot at ultra-builds and its the only humanoid builds we're getting this year. I cant go into details bout each one so i want to add overall first impression. Some Overall Negatives: Im disappointed there is only one weapon mold for the group. Wish they made Mungus as big as Fanga. Adding a flying function to birds is a nice touch. Would have like a fourth build....y'know to match. Some overall Positives: Pretty kool 4 out of the 7 have should armor. Cragger is my fav application of it by adding parts to the neck. Fluminox, Munugs, Fangar, and Vardy has the best tools. They made a reasonable crossbow and Hammer. New chest pieces, feet, head molds all get thumbs up. I was scratching my head at the Ice builds until i saw the mini-figs. So it makes alot of sense what they did. A few things to point out: I wonder how much space is between frame and chest pieces? I feel like it could look gappy on the side. I think Panthar has a fire arm, right? Do like the toes tho Since they're seven sets, anyone want to guess who combines with who here? Cus I like Combiner tools from last year. In 2013 it was: Laval+Eris Gorzan+Razar Cragger+Worriz Soo, 2014: Fluminox+Cragger Laval+Panthar Munugs+Vardy Fangar+????

I think HF is a huge improvement to bionicle. 2.0 pieces was what I wanted since 06, MOCing is amazing for the kids I brought them for. To me this is lego telling action figure lines to step their game up. -
This is great News. Since Laval and Cragger are using less pieces than last time, Lego may add new Molds for summer Sets. We know Laval and Cragger are good. Vardy and Panthar are bad. But the other guys Idk. Also their might be a phoenix set coming up for Chima

Hmmm, I remember someone mention TLG wanted to have two construction lines at one point. I was hoping Chima would be that but O well. What Im not understanding is some you guys mention Bionicle. Were you disappoint in the ending? why would you want it back in the first place? CCBS piece are WAY more versatile for constructions. I love it whether they continue HF or not. My concern is do kids like HF or not

Man, I'm impress at how much stuff they stack on the Chest Bone pieces. You can turn them into reg heroes with the pieces they have available in the final pics. yall was on the money with splitter beast being separate monsters. Can't wait to see combiners
