  1. Thanks, I submitted the roder that should pretty much finish her up when it comes, hopefully this week, or at latest next^^ I hope she doesn't dissapoint, I know she's been fun to build so far!
  2. Wow, this is a very beautiful ship! but I find it curious that it hasn't been updated since last January....how's she coming along? I love all the detail you worked into it, I've gotten to stand on the deck of the real thing, and seeing yours brings all that beauty rushing back to me! superb job Phred, you lucky and rich cucumber you.
  3. Amazing Penguin, you did an excellent job on all three! keep up the good work
  4. I love this model! even though its small it has so many details, the room underneath, the ammo, everything amazed me! keep up the good work
  5. Wow thats beautiful! I love the details, and the SNOT rock (which I recently learned was actually studs-not-on-top, who knew?) is amazing! keep up the good work Z! definite
  6. An amazing job on the whole fort, but the newest moc of your dock piece is my favorite yet, but close competition with the chapel's stained glass! Keep bricking mate
  7. Looking pretty awesome though, keep it up! and don't give up hope, i sold my magic the gathering collection for my American fleet, lol
  8. I'm glad you both have such an interest in my little endeavor^^ I'm going to try and possibly have it done by the end of march, if not sooner, so we shall see soon, hopefully also thank you for the compliments on my idea, I thought a gaff rigg would be something different and distinguish the ships a little
  9. A beauty of a ship, I'm pleased with how it turned out and other then green stated, nothing wrong with it that I can see at all^^ great build
  10. Heya, thanks for the tips and compliments, but actually this isn't going to be a square rigged schooner for the Americans, its actually going to be a gaff rigged one^^ examples of gaff rigging, and the schooner I based off of, note this one is going to be MUCH bigger then that one would've been in legos. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaff_rig http://www.uscg.mil/history/webcutters/Pickering_1798.jpg
  11. Which is honestly the point of chasers really, because most schooners were so fast they would go right by a frigate or ship of the line rather then chasing them, lol and yeah, tripple chasers would be amazingly epic
  12. She is a very tall ship, a real beauty, pretty good work but for a ship that tall I would recommend the falling in or....tumblehome I believe? effect for looks^^ other then that excellent!
  13. It will be a ton of work, but once its done it'll be my pride and joy^^ The chasers are going to go on, but with 5 masts she'll be able to catch most ships she'd want to broadside anyhow, lol
  14. wow you know me, I actually did, LOL
  15. Actually I'm keeping the stern low to make it even more aerodynamic, and also it wouldn't do for the gaffer rigged sails to knock the captains bedroom into the brink and in reference to the five masts and low water, yup its entire idea is speed, as well as being well protected^^ And yes, have no fears, the top cannon will probably only be carronade/swivel guns, unless I get frisky and maybe bump it up to 30 main cannon, then a max of six big ones would be on deck, probably two stern, two bow, one extra port and starboard, or somethin like that, lol^^ but yeah, once pieces are here I'll get to work and update
  16. I finally got some money and decided to try and make the american fleet a true contender of the seas, with this little beauty of a soon to be 40 gun, including deck cannon when I get them, schooner. Hope you all enjoy! A pic of the port side And a pic of star board A side view of the stern A picture of one of the broadside cannon rows. the bow of the ship, low to water for excellent speed the stern and finally, a size comparison to my previous schooner, the dauntless. hope its looking good, it should be done in about two weeks, minus the cannon....hopefully
  17. Wow, this ship is amazing looking! so many cannon...and geez, I thought the around 140 or so dollars I'm ending up spending on my current ship was a bit much. stupid shipping But that is a true beauty of a ship, can't wait to see her, complete, truly a queen of the seas! Just one little note though...all those cannon and I got the funny image of if she did a broadside all at once she'd roll like the black pearl out of Davey Jones' locker
  18. Man this ships a beauty, and you say this is your FIRST!? Excellent job, the only details I cans ee that need changing are the ones aforementioned, all in all a fine addition to the ships under the jolly roger
  19. An amazing construction Captain Blackmoor! I love the detail of the bar fight, and the mountain technique and merchant cart are stunning, I love the whole thing truth be told! great work
  20. Very clever, I love the self-made mast. Good work!
  21. what can I say? I love under-dogs
  22. Its a very beautiful ship, and the rigging is excellent! I love all the work you put into this, and I found it slightly hillarious that in the bins behind the ship the colors are switched from their respective bins all in all, excellent work, now I REALLY have to get to work on our American navy!
  23. Its truly a beautiful ship mate, the sails came out excellent! I'm loving the steam cannon on the front, and all the little detail. great work
  24. I love all the detail you fit in a small space on this MOC, it truly is beautiful, and yes, the dock falling in on the soldier is hilarious
  25. Superb job Kris! the color scheme is amazing, the gate is well done, and everything about it is period architecture. superb job, keep it up
