Lol, I agree with you on all things portaining to the bow mate, it was pretty much slap together slap together 'cept for the bottom and platform. But yeah the bowsprite IS gonna move back, and the headrails are gonna be ALOT better in the final version^^ also thanks for the page! -
Power Miners: Modified Lavatraz
Fires-storm replied to Dunjohn's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow, what a truly amazing modification! I loved the rock raiders sets, and the power miners are a pretty good follow up, so this mod is very pleasing to me. I love all the detail you packed in, and I got a chuckle out of the lava spout through the grate. good work, and keep bricking! -
Wow, I love this! you had my hopes up that this was an actual set, I was about to cruise lego hoping to buy it I love all the detail you packed into it, including the cars, and custom mobsters! excellent work, and keep bricking!

Thank you so much for your advice, Lightningtiger! I've taken your advice and looked at it from all angles, and have been modding my tank from late last night, just removing things that didn't look right, I'll be sure to post the new pics here soon!

Hello, definitely a beautiful model of this plane, you captured pretty much every detail on it! I love how this thing turned out, it looks truly amazing, keep bricking
-
A very nice build, especially for your first! I love how you use the SNOT system to fit all the little details onto this great vehicle, and how you made the trailer detachable is a very nice touch. Keep bricking because I love too see your models on here

You know, Ralph_s is right that there are a few things you could do to improve these, but over all, these gave me joy to look at, I liked the design features and all the details you gave to each vehicle. I also loved the little scale battle you made, and the entire thing in convoy position was a nice touch. All in all, I believe they are very good, and even though the color scheme isn't true to modern day, they gave me a nice sort of Sci-fi feel that I enjoy! Nice work!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it, and the Transit? I'm going to have to look her up then to see that rigging -
Wow, a truly beautiful moc! I love the playability you were able to build into this design, and while it may be a bit close to the ground, yes(watch out for large-ish boulders) it truly looks to be a powerhouse for its setting. Well done mate

Honestly I thank you for the criticism, and I was thinking of replacing the guns already, just working up a new design as we speak, and I've replaced the brown slopes on the front with dark grey ones, as i think that the black with grey gives it more of a worn appearance and character then just all jet black^^ Also I called it a light tank because of a Sci Fi I like to read called Mech Warrior, where alot of the light tanks have windshields like that, some vene going as far as open cockpits! they rely heavily on rapid mobility and movement so that they can strike rapidly and (hopefully) be quick enough to not get blasted (not to mention Light Armored Fighting Vehicle is one HECK of a mouthful) Also, I thank you for the time it took to write this criticism and helping me become a better MOC creator!

I know this has been a long time comming mates, but finally I have some note worthy updates to show you all! With just a few more mods to the bow, and the rigging and top marconi sails going on, this ship will be done in just one more update! (except for cannons, those come later^^") The masts in construction and the main sails being put on And of the entire thing with all main sails, and the start of the marconi topsails: (and yes, to show size that IS the full sized model at-at by the ship ) There the beauty is in a nutshell for now, more updates to come, hopefully by end of march! depends how I'm feeling by then, as I built most of this with a 102 degree fever I hate sickness. Hope you all enjoy her! -
Wow, a truly amazing truck you've got here, one of the widest and most amazing I've seen, all the detail such as the opening doors and the ladder are stunning! keep up the good work
-
A truly amazing group of mocs, all of them are stunningly beautiful! I love the sailing yacht, but thats mainly because I'm a sucker for anything with sails! I love all you boats, excellent job, and keep bricking! !

Wow! such detail mixed with such beauty! a truly wodnerful moc, a few high points for me were the flat bed on the truck, and the base of the tractor was superbly designed! keep bricking for sure
-
an amazing review Rufus! you went into such detail I felt I was playing with the set myself, and it was definitely helpful to learn this set had so many great features! I'm even considering buying one for myself now keep up the good work
-
This is rather amusing, this little moc didn't get any comments on lego's site either ah well, maybe a bump will help, so Bump!
-
An amzingly beautiful ship, I personally cannot think of any true improvements to give her, for in my eyes she is pretty close to perfection! I love the detail you put in, such as the equipment on the decks for the soldiers, and all those cannon mustv'e cost a TON. I haven't even bought the ones for my schooner yet....*winces at the though of the expense* Ah well, nice work, and keep bricking!

A stunning group of mocs, Dragonov! I love the techniques you used, transitioning the pontoons between all three was truly brilliant as well! keep up the good work -
