Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Can we just agrree that there are too much bad Owens? And why has Claire in the Gallimimus set her Fallen Kingdom outfit? Doesn't make any sense except for making Buisness-Claire an exclusive for the 100€ set. I mean, the figure doesn't even look that good, since the very hard and orderly look of her doesn't translate well into Lego. -

I like that they know use a candle pice for the clones blaster rifle instead of a technic pin. Not sure how it will look IRL though. -
Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Probably, because some genius didn't order enough of thise sets to be produced because he misjudged how many sets will be bought. (Something that happened to Lego quite often in the recent years) BTW, can somebody tell me why those sets still aren't on Amazon? -
Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Nah, it is clearly based on a vehicle i built as a kid during Dino2010 times. It also used very big wheels while being relativley short and not very high above the wheels. But instead of a Lab it had a Dinocage in the back. (i wasn't allowed to have the Hummer because I recreated it myself appearantly) -

Is it me, or does that net shooter not work any better then the turbine? What I dislike now about the batmobile, is that it doesn't really have a theme. It is big and massive, but only transports that small lab and only has a very small netlauncher. And it has two drones, but no command centres for them. It is just missing something. -
Custom LDD bricks and fixes

Superb work so far, but some of the bricks you are showing in the main thread can't be found on Github. (For example the roller coaster parts) -

The new Sets are now available. While the Indominus set is kinda ok at 99€ and the lab is good at 20€, the Gallimimus set costs 60€. Is it me or is that way to high, even for the standards of Lego JW? I am taking bets on the price Amazon will start those sets with. -
I haven't found anything here in the froum, but after using LDD for years I wonder i there is any way to increase the preview/selection window for decorations. On my monitor it is so small, that especially for minifigure bodies it is really hard to recognize what you are looking at. There doesn't seem to be anything in the Option menue, but maybe there is a way somehow hidden.

Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

For me that is what makes it go. Too many of the Jurassic World vehicles are real world vehicles, but very weirdly out of scale and with weird proportions to fit with the size of the Dinos. -

I don't dislike stickers as much as other people, but what's worng with the lab in my eyes is, that basically the complete backside of the set is completly defined by them. Well, I also wouldn't say no to a larger bipedal body, that could be used for mid-large Carnivores (Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, better sized Carnotaurus) or even some fabulous duck-lizards. -

Am I the only one, that kinda dislikes how most details of Wu's Lab are made of stickers? -

I wonder if a Para would work by putting a new head on the Raptor-body -

At least the tail is posable. I first feared that the wholeDinowould be one piece of plastic. I think the Dinos that still need to be done are Stegosaurus and a Sauropod. Plus I wish that they would redo the Raptors to the size of the last Dilo. But all those new Dinos make this wave really good, especially that they come in relativley good sets. (Why couldn't the large Dilo come with something better than 40cm of fence for 50€?) -

I couldn't care less for the characters from JW. And Owen is really boring and generic character for modern blockbusters. Bith ways, I don't need him a dozen times. (This comment is written by the owner of at least dozend Johnny Thunders) -

I just noticed that we now have two waves of Jurassic World where every single set contains Owen Grady. Seriously Lego? -

Thats not hard. And in that wave only one set is really connected to JW. The Lab is very generic, the Vehicle and the plane have nothing to do with the movies at all. At least on an original theme the prices wouldn't be additionally inflated by licenses -

I like it. At least for now, unitl I see more and better pics. In my eyes dino-catching vehicles are always better than weird half finished pieces of park equipment, or scenery( Bad examples for this is the Triceratops set). -
But why Rune Haako?
-
Nice built. Yes, raised Baseplates would be very nice for all kind of fortress, ruin, or hideout buildings. Much better than waisting lots of bricks to create an unstable rock.

I think it is more likely that those pieces go into an improved AAT. Especially the disc-section and the turret could use a better design. -
THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!

Interesting. I always assumed, that Prates had brown cannons, soldiers red, whith some sets deviating for another color-scheme. -

A bit too much yellow, but so far I don't have any other complaints about it. Ok, It could have more than two cannons and non striped sails. And finally a ship with rope-rigging again -
The ones you got with Ashokas Starfighter were perfect in my eyes. They could move, looked good and had the right size.
