  1. I think it is interesting that it seems to be a serial story. I thought that it would be a typical episodical "eternal summer camp" series.
  2. Is your son actually using the Helicopter's rotor function? Because I still think it makes the Helicopter look tail-heavy. since the Rotor has to be so far at the front (and there is clearly a space for a classical plate/brick with vertical pin for rotors a bit further back) so the axle can go through the body.
  3. Question: Do kids really like that complete goofing around Lego media mostly portraits (And I assume from the trailer this does to)? The problem i see with the Gallimimus vehicle I still have is, that it doesn't know what it wants to be. Of course it has that mobile lab in the back. (That can't completely open by the way). But it is also equiped with a net launcher. And of course two drones. And it's large tires make it really big. And Owen being in every set is also really annoying as I cannot say often enough. On a side note, using the "Drone" as an actual drone makes it much less stupid xD
  4. I somehow managed to completly miss it.
  5. Apatosaurus is is a really good design, although I would like it t be a bit larger I wonder how much freedom the head and tail of it would actually have. Spinosaur looks very good too considering that it is a JP Dino (I dislike the tripedal tail TLC gave their large theropdos). The Allosaurus uses the I-Rex body? I still hope for a actually medium sized Theropod body for Dinos like it or the Carno. Nasutoceratops is a really weird choice. Is it featured in any of the films?
  6. The snake like anatomy of the Mosasaurus also makes it very hard to make look good and playable at a decent size.
  7. A couple of points: -I dislike the Indominus - I am not really a fan of the park builds in general. While I think that the station looks good, I am also not a fan of ther whole Gyrosphere concept. -For some parts of jungle, a small hut and the Anky the price is to high
  8. I have both the Gallimimus Breakout and Wu's Lab now, which will be everything I am getting from this wave, I have to say, that I am surprised, that the new baby-dinos are completly made out of hard plastic and not a bit of rubber. The Lab is actually larger than I expected, althoug most of it get's it appeals by stickers (as I expected).
  9. But it would be quite boring. The thing about Dimorphodon is that it is completly different from a Pteranodon.
  10. Thats a nice one. And I don't think, that since it is essentially a single piece of rubber would be that unrealistic. Themes like Ninjago or Star Wars get a lot of obscure Monster/Alien head and stuff that will be used in a single set, so why not JW? I think that Lego is finally realizing, that Dinos are very good for selling sets.
  11. They will be more visible for the visitors but have problems with sunburns.
  12. Yes, looks like a typical dreamworks animation. And I wonder why they didn't already do that AMG 6x6 after JW came out. And can somebody tell me what that Camp Cretaceous is? Summercamp for rich spoiled kids?
  13. Is there a reason why they are explicity male? I think that a Dimorphodon could be a good alternative to the Pteranodon some people are a bit tired of. It would be a bit smaller and have a tail, but functionwise ti should be the same. Stegosaurus is a no-brainer and Ceratosaurus could be that way to introduce a medium/large sized bipedal body-plan between the Rex and the Indoraptor.
  14. I think it is interesting how much their design improved between this and the new Dilo. In case of the Baryonyx, I would claim it is recognizeable.
  15. You mean like the Baryonix?
  16. At least in Germany Outpost Attack isn't available since at leat half a year. You can still find it at some places, but the big ones don't have them anymore. You mean the only decent 2019 set?
  17. Talking about combining different sets: Am i the only one, that finds it weird, how we had about half a dozen sets containing fences but all with different styles and not two of them designed to be combined? And I don't know if selling the Dinos on their own or at least in sets that would contain much less additional bricks would be really that bad for buisness. Just think about it: How many kids would like to have a T. Rex but can't afford the 70-100+€ a set containg one would cost. But at 20€ or even 30€? Despite being much more expensive then the "Dino price" you have to pay extra on the larger sets. The same with smaller Dinos. I could even think of a large variety of very unique Dinos as collectible items. Each one prominent visible in a clear plastic container with a bit of landscape or a single figure.
  18. Not to mention, that many characters are really boring in the end. i mean, how many fedora guys would people want? It worked for HP because the characters there are quirky, almost cartoonish which translates to Lego quite well, but the adventure/outdoor guys from JP don't
  19. And they still decided to change helmets for no reason after 20 years. A new smaller Raptor wouldn't only make them more accurate, but also make them a cheaper alternative for smaller sets. Or the actual posibility to form packs of them.
  20. Still wish for a minifigure size raptor. Those monstrosities don't work for me.
  21. For me Zia has the same Problem as Claire: That hairstyle doesn't work on Lego heads. And I do wonder if there are really chracters that had a role in the movies but no figures. Of course many of the were only in one set, but the movies also were overly centered on Claiere and Owen. And this doesn't mean that there aren' enough Owens out there.
  22. Does this already includes the collapse of the Pound or is there another Swampspeeder I don't know about?
  23. Do we have a wishlist-topic?
