Eurobricks Spaghetti Western Competition
rupi replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Hi, My lug (comunidade 0937 - Portugal) is having a contest in the same time as this one. Without knowing about this contest I build a western train. I want to ask if I can show my MOC at both contests? Thank's -
Thanks. I am pleased to see that this MOC is still up to date after a year. Probably somethig to do with the Lego set 3222 I too think Lego needs to make new tires/wheels to fit properly a 6 wide city car.

Toa of Justice made a digital version of my MOC. Thank's Here's the link.

Awesome work Marcos, as usual The way you made those curved corners looks great and the color scheme is a beauty to.
-
Lovely building, nice colors. The interior is just awesome
-
Wow, thank you everyone for your nice comments Toa, I don't use LDraw, but sure you can make a digital version of my car If you need more photos for any special part of the building that you don't see in the photos I posted, send me a PM, I will be glad to help you.

I love the front of the truck beeing a flat bed looks strange for a fire truck, but is a great work.
-
Very nice. I like how you put the front axel right in the front of the vehicle, also the shape and the colors. did you tried put some tiles to cover those studs on the doors?...
-
Thank's. Yes, it has "suspension" in both axles, I have pictures of it in the folder
-
Very good. They got that classic looking, not over detailed but very well buildt

Hi, I would like to show you my latest car MOC. It's a classic 1930s race car vaguely inspired in Alfa Romeu 8C Monza. As special features it has steering (not really but the wheels do turn) and some sort of suspension It is a small MOC, but it was fun and challenging to build. I hope you like it. Brickshelf folder or Flickr Thanks for looking.

How could I missed this MOC. (never come to check the action themes ) It is fantastic. It really fits well with the set. Great imagination and building. The train is awsome looking and all the secret weapons make it even better. This sould be an official lego set so I could buy it
-
Great work The scene really looks alive. Nice and very effective building technics.
-
The front is awsome, very effective. The whole model is very well buildt. And it looks bigger than 6w.
-
Amazing model you made out of Lego I wouldn't dare to do shuch modifications in Lego pieces, but I'm glad you did it
-
Thank you. As for the building instructions I will try to post a picture of the kart with some parts separated. But the connection you mentioned is made with a bracket 1x1 attached to the headlight brick. You can see it in this photo.

Thank's for the nice comments About building some other characters from Mario kart I would like that, I choose Mario because it was the easiest to make with regular Lego parts. But I will check my parts boxes to see what other characters I can do

Hi, A few days ago, after playing Super Mario Kart Wii, I build a Mario minifig for my son, then I looked at it and tried to build the kart. A small MOC but it was fun to build. I don't know if this belongs in the town theme but if not a moderator can move it please. Thank's for looking brickshelf folder Flickr

Year 2109, Vanguard City, TeleTransport Station West Personal locomotion vehicles have been forbidden, only law enforcement and rescue services have their means of transportation, all the contributors are forced to use collective public transports. The passengers wait for the TT (TeleTransport), it’s called that way, not because it dematerialises passengers and materialises them in their destination, that achievement science hasn’t been able to produce yet, it’s name is simply because every passenger seat has is own TV. But you shouldn’t assume that this is an old fashioned transport. TT is the fastest and more comfortable terrestrial mean of transportation. Unfortunately, due to the number of passengers it is frequently overloaded and delayed. An intelligent solution, adopted by the Government and very applauded by the Bigcorporation, was to officially declare Time’s relativeness (you should read contributors work schedule). This means that the contributors must work the usual 60 hours a week, independent of their work schedule or week day because they are flexible (both schedule and week days). This measure made a huge improvement in Vanguard City system of transportation. But let’s get back to the place we are. A police force element patrols the spot in his SegWay, passengers wait for the TT to arrive. The wait is long but the place has all the commodities, acclimatisation, public TV and computer, UV ray filtering, and the ZGB (Zero Gravity Bar) witch the passengers hold, help’s so the wait is quite comfortable. All this of course as long as the contributors have Credits in their Personalchip. An old contributor falls and hits the ground loudly, he must have forgotten to grab the bar, or his Credits are running low… no one notices… this happens frequently. Outside TTSW, the grey landscape of Vanguard City unfolds. The usual monotony… self sustainable buildings, communication antennas of all shapes and functions… in the back, on the mountains, the wind turbines spin slowly producing the mild breeze that makes the exterior environment bearable and pushes the polluted air away… where to… no one knows, no one cares… day life in Vanguard City doesn’t leave much time to think about details. My Personalchip vibrates under my skin, a message from the Bigcorporation… my Sunday is over, I must report to service at once. (sorry for any grammar errors) See more photos in my brickshelf folder I build this for 0937 Lusolympics a MOC competition, theme was Avant Garde urban furniture... Thank you for looking

Thanks for the comments What! you never took your lego ships to the bath with you? Let me tell you... they don't float About the buildings "floating" on the water, the ideal was to have brick (BURPs) to support them but that would take a huge amount of bricks. Maybe next year.

Thanks for the comments. The blue baseplate is there just for the photography, the display was on the water The picture isn't very good but just to give the idea. And of course... the pirates always win :pir-skull:

Vig. 82b This is one of the MOCs I made for the pirates display in TomarLego. It Has been a long time since my last incursion in the pirates theme. My contribution for the display was modest, just a couple of islands and a raft. Here is the one I liked best. Brickshelf folder Thanks for looking.
