That lion cub looks amazing I am sure we will see it with stripes and spots and maybe even in black in the future, if not in a set then BAM or CMF Interesting to see the green crocodile, it looked very similar to the classic croc suddenly Not a fan of pearl gold so that owl is just a waste, would have been a 100 times more useful as a normal owl in a new colour for the flying mould

I am not sure how they sort people, but it was everting from kids with parents to people that had retired and everything in-between, but I am sure the size of your collection do not matter at least You must sign the NDA first There is no point going on the tour hoping to see new stuff, maybe they have done it on tours several year ago, but we where not shown any future sets at all. We got a minifig of Captain America after a presentation of designing his new helmet, and I believe that was before it came in sets, and that was about it. You will learn a lot more about future stuff here

I doubt that it had much innpackt The short answer is YES! However it cost a lot of money so if you rather spend that money on Lego it is better to wait I think. When you get to a point where you have a lot of Lego and are comfortable to use that kind of money on a once in a lifetime experience then it is time to start applying

Typical that Instagram want let me have a sneak peak now Yes, but there is a lot of them even if they do not know there names, so I think HP as well. Looks like the chat (about the lack of owls in HP) I had with Justin Ramsden on the inside tour in 2019 paid of I guess that would be some bad megablocks billy goats

I misunderstood, I thought the was talking about 8X8 studs not 8X8 grid ?
-
Well if it is a normal chess set it most likely will not connect to the other sets, so problem solved That sounds big, are they only using 8x8 plates with studs then Any news on the moulded horses?!
-
This chess set had the old horse on 6x6: That mould takes up more space since it can not only stand on its hind legs and looks like part of the piece is outside the square to me in that set. So I do not think Lego is so strict about that as long as the base of the part is inside the square that is probably OK, and a new horse only use 3x3 on its hind legs right? Even so 3x3 would be to small I think, 4x4 could maybe work I just want them to include moulded horses, because that would look the best, this is the most reason try not to include them: over 30 parts are used to make what one 1 part could do 10 times better And if they only make part of the horse that would not be very movie accurate either:
-
They sometimes do, but in this case it makes very little sense. They would have to include: half the board 8 pawns (4+4) 2 queens (1+1) 2 kings (1+1) 2 rooks (1+1) 2 knights (1+1) 2 bishops (1+1) And it would be a really hard sell that you ned to buy 2 sets to be able to play chess and get a lot of other stuff from the castle you do not need times two if you only wants it for the chess Yes, and if they can add a lot of similar parts in a set that makes them cheaper, the board would only be a few different parts and every chess piece comes in 2-16 copies of the same parts
-
The pie looks great, however I am a bit worried that we have not gotten any BAM animals lately, maybe Lego is saving them for when the shops can open more normally again
-
Last time I checked there was no piece count for the set, the 1500 parts are just a guess so I do not understand why a lot of people keep mentioning it all the time
-
To me it only makes sense that it is a normal chess set, like this It has 857 parts, then get rid of most of the minifigs, the build on each side and maybe the parts for the base that should be more than enough parts to build the pieces right The other option is mostly parts from the castle and a few broken chess pieces and part of the board however that would miss out on the play-function with with the chess game. Parts of the castle and a complete chess game I do not see happening for that price, what is the point anyway with a complete chess set that combines with the castle, the scale would be way of compared to the rest of the sets anyway
-
Yes 4 horses for 60$ sound unlikely today, while back in 1985: however the part is perfect for the scene so I have not given up hope completely
-
It definitely is not Errol he is a Great grey owl and was made back in 2010 and is so far the only owl print they have not brought back after 2018
-
It is no point in buying extra sets for the cards, you can just buy the ones that you are missing on BL Me too
-
Yes, I do not understand why they are not everywhere, it is a fantastic idea! A good chocolate frog and a collectible card in addition it is world famous from HP, what's not to like.. I know they have them in HP shops etc, but it is only a few different cards I think. So I wonder what Lego can make of them, could be a collector item if they have a lot of different cards and every future set comes with at least one Would be missing the chocolate frog, but as Ron say it is the card you want
-
Other than the gold figs and that all the minifig sets fit together more or less
-
You misunderstood me, if they did not care about any more of the street it would be better to only make the bank so the set could be cheaper and possible sell more copies. If the D2C is Gringotts it must include another building because of the high price and that points to future sets with other parts of the street
-
I do not have Instagram either, but about half the time if you google it you get in and can look at the newest pictures before they ask you to log in

It could include the LC and the wall and that's it for DA sets, however to me it makes more sense to have the LC in another set. In addition if it is Gringotts why include another building at all (if they where not giving us more sets later), then just sell it for 150$ and call it a day
-
I agree with your list! Well that is the only argument against it If they give us a yearly DA set it is better to get the next one out this year. if it is based on the first films, they can give us a dragon set later as long as the sets work as stand-alone sets like the modulars it is no problem to make more DA sets in DA sets we would only get characters we got already or that never would come in any other sets than DA sets further DA sets would not use up any sets ideas since we already got the DA if they where only giving us one DA set why not include the bank most of the fans want it
-
Is it not possible that the D2C are not one of the sets on the list, they usually manage to keep them under wraps longer
-
Both are more likley than HP If the owl are not from HP it will most likely show up at one point anyway.. "Augusta Longbottom owned a barn owl, which she used to send her grandson Neville a Remembrall in 1991, and a Howler in 1994" There are of course lots of other times there is a barn owl in HP
-
Owl Is it a barn owl? Are any HP characters known for having that? Or maybe Eeylops Owl Emporium is coming in the D2C
