Looks like there is glow in the dark fish now in the shark set if that has not been noted here yet.. 3+2 butterflies in the Friends botanical garden the new one is Morpho peleides it even has it mentioned on the back of the box

That was a little disappointing with all the animal in the sets names yes No need to worry I just saw the pictures this morning before I went to work, but have been in the forest doing fieldwork away from the computer the rest of the day so could not comment before now. Fantastic news with all the animal moulds If City designers keep this up they will give Playmobile a run for their money E.g a few year ago they would never have given us 2 bear cubs in a set if they could only give us 1 instead. I have not seen a good picture of the parrot and owl so they might be new colours?

That is fantastic news, City with this small sets with at couple of animals are great Especially the otter set I like, but we had one with monkeys and one with hens so they are apparently selling well so it seems Lego are moving away from 3-4 minifigs and maybe one animal to 1 minifig and more animals in those small sets which is fine by me

The elephant had 2 new moulds and even if the lion only had a new head that do not matter when it comes to Lego budget where a mould is mould. Probably why they did not make the elephant closer to the original one with more movements that would cost way too much in new moulds.. I would argue the sheep fleece is a new animal mould as well, it do not work for much else then a body-part of an animal If you are listing new animals in City there is missing several.. On top of my head squirrels, dogs, cats..

That was a different mould it was introduced in Agents in 2008 Friends have got one for several year so would be about time Will the seal fit inside the orcas mouth?! Maybe penguins to add to the orca menu? Since the Little mermaid set did not come with one I do not think the chances are good for a new crab

I would be surprised if there is no new animals in the City summer wave with all the theme has had the last couple of year and the orca have been a long time coming. How many year ago was it we should have gotten it, but it was cancelled?

Not yet I believe, it is probably a bestseller.. It is a 4+ set and they have a lot of big expensive pieces, in addition to that it is all the animals.. It is a cow, but you can buy them from on PAB from Lego for $13,57 in New Zealand (plus horns and bricks for the back).. Cow 6317293/69673

I do not have much interest in WWW on its own, but if they start releasing an annual DA set with a building or two (as I have said they should do since DA D2C came out) if is something different Will be interesting to see how Gringotts, DA D2C and WWW fit together if at all

Vidiyo makes most sense anyway, I believe this years modular got a "free" mould from a cancelled Vidiyo set so it is probably more up for grabs The mould would make perfect sense for a fig inspired by a opera singer dressed up as a viking: I know what you mean since I still have not gotten any BAM knights (not even a single Lego store in Norway), and you must be lucky when you visit one to get all the parts you are looking for. However they normally show up on BL and I think online BAM will be a lot better in the future

Yes they all count since apparently Creator 3-in-1 used the budget to bring us those parts and that's why I wrote "most likely give none or maybe a single useful parts to the theme". A single CMF or BAM minifig normally gives us more than that so as a big big set made for the "theme" it is rather useless when it comes to new parts. The castle set had 0 and the pirate 1 torso so that is probably where future set will be between 0-1 The viking set was surprising especially with the new mould. Was that the first time the theme got a new mould? I wonder if the part was made for a cancelled Thor, Vidiyo set or similar Other than that it got 3 new torsos, however that can partly be blamed on the fact that it was almost 20 years since the last Vikings sets (or maybe the budget has increased so they can include more new torsos in future set)..
